That is brilliant
Although no Sweet Rolls can be sneakily stolen on Solstheim!!... People get alerted and draw their swords if a gentle breeze moves a cobweb.

Btw, if you have underwater breathing, swimming the entire northern coast is worth the kicks. There are more than a few wrecks in the deep. Yeah, roaming is worth the price of admission to me.
I will definitely do that in a new playthrough!
Right now I am using Frostfall mod on hardcore and my imperial girl freezes just walking at night in Whiterun without proper clothes or warming herself near the fires... going to the northern cost and surviving is an adventure in itself for her!

Definitely explore under water. I mean, even in Lake Honrich near Riften, you can find items (like the Quill of Gemination for Maven), and near the docks are a couple of chests/crates.
Actually, there are lots of examples of hidden stuff under water within caves and the like. Caves along the coast or near a body of water usually have all kinds of booty to find within its depths.

Ooh, maybe that will be the next DLC! That would be cool, truly.LPPrince wrote...
I still think they should've added something akin to an underwater city.
Swimming under water in the main area of Nchardak (Dragonborn DLC) kind of felt like an underwater city, with all of the submersed arches, and doorways you could swim under and through.
Could you imagine going through a fully submersed Bthardamz, the Dwemer ruin where you do Peryite's Daedric quest? Whoa.

Ok I tried leaving Solstheim to go back to Skyrim with my vast riches. As in im slightly overburdened with 2000 pounds of equipment. Anyway the ship wont let me leave unless im below the weight threshold (guess it will sink). Kind of slightly annoying. Looks like im going to have to make five or six pointless trips there and back.
Also those Fish barrels onboard reset. I tried stashing a lot of stuff in there and it never worked either
Dang you realism when I dont want it!

Are you actually booking passage on the ship back to Skyrim? I haven't tried to do it that way, and I'm not sure why.

I remember my 1st playthrough stashing all my loot in the companion chest once the room was mine. They robbed me blind

I didn't try it while overencumbered, though, so maybe that way won't work. Let us know, if you get a chance!Captain Crash wrote...

Was that intentional?
Ok, this is at least the second time on this thread that a dragonborn player has noted a change in the stealth mechanics for Dragonborn. I'm going to be *Pissed* if I bring a character into this DLC that I've taken great pains to make into a successful master sneak, only to find that the game has decided to cheat their own system by ignoring all my earned skills, my spent points, my spent perks, and my enchanted gear in favor of forcing an in-your-face challenge simply because they believe we'll think it's "more fun".Captain Crash wrote...

Please tell me sneaking still actually works as it's supposed to in Dragonborn.

I agree. About the closest thing I found to an underwater city was an ancient Nordic burial crypt underwater near.... Riverwood, I think. There was no entrance, but there was some loot.

If you go swimming around the front of Castle Volkihar there are some shallows that appear out of nowhere in the middle of the sea. About half a dozen Skeletons rise up and attack you. That was an interesting suprise as well

Absolutely and I agree as well. You'd think there'd be some domed, high-tech, steam-powered, Dwemer-something-or-other way down in the deep...or maybe even, a sunken Dwemer Atlantis-like city. I can envision it almost perfectly in my head. Blackreach has that underwater feel to it with the blue haze and glowing mushrooms that look like they're floating. Dwemer were people of the DEEP after all!

Sofie's pet baby fox staring up at her and following her around is the cutest thing ever. I think it would melt even Elenwen's heart.
I love when they snuggle the doll you give them too. I didn't know the kids could get a pet fox, mine has a rabbit. It is adorable.

My Orc was informed that a friendly aquaintance had been kidnapped right after the DB had aquired an enhanced Dwarven crossbow, so he stopped by Dragonreach to do some disenchanting, and while on his way home for some sleep, the entry guards and Nazeem had dispatched a vampire or two from the neighborhood. Looking around for local corpses, all I could find was a Master vamp and a pile of ash, so off to bed. Turns out this was our blacksmithing neighbor!
Rescued his friend using only the crossbow, and saving the exploding bolts for the kidnapper. And this next session while on their home soil is all his.
* Was going to reload, but Auto-Save was used too often, and all mornings work would have been lost. Not as motivational as vengeance and justice, but it will do.
