I guess Azura and Sherogorath also featured a lot in the past two games.
Still kind of annoying to get this whole "SERVE HIM" vibe and all.

Does anyone find it kind of weird how the MQ's in the main and DLCs are all trying to push you towards Hermaeus Mora?

I think many of the Daedric Princes would prefer it if you served them, although you aren't forced to serve Hermaeus Mora (in contrast to the dialogue in Oblivion where your Hero of Kvatch is forced to tell Martin you serve him, which bothered me since it didn't fit my character at all). The Dragonborn can refuse to accept Mora's offer or be his emissary during "Discerning the Transmundane," although I can't speak for "Dragonborn" (as a PS3 user).

The first time I saw Farkas do it, my jaw dropped to the floor. Badass.

More annoying than being roped into *being* a daedra?Giggles_Manically wrote...

Still, if you've gotta be a daedric prince, being Sheogorath is not a bad deal. I can't believe some people want their DB to be emperor. What a dreary step down from being troll of the universe.

I have no interest in dovahspawn myself. That gets into too many weird areas, and completely shuts out female characters and would be hard to implement for beast races. Not a thing I would like to see Bethesda spending zots on rather than deeper faction quest lines and lore development.
While I do think it's not an immediate thing to do, I do think it wouldn't hurt to include it, zots permitted. Wouldn't the Dragonborn want to make sure as much as he can that he isn't the last Dragonborn? That maybe his children might carry the ability themselves?
I dunno, I think if you could have sex with your spouse it could jump forward to after you've given birth to the child -- be it Human, Elven, Khajit cub, or Argonian lizard -- where you name it.
I always feel weird saying stuff like having sex with a video game spouse, since this is a game and it just sounds kinda... weird. Though I will admit I wish Skyrim's romances had more to them. Doesn't have to be drama for the sake of drama, but maybe just a kiss here and there or stuff like that. Stuff to make it feel more... well... natural?
Or meeting the in-laws! LOL.
Would work well with Hearthfire, I think. You'd have some servants who could take care of the child while you and your spouse bring glory to your names! Still, I don't need it, but I can see a few roleplaying reasons why it'd be a good feature. But I can just as easily reserve children to fanfiction.
That said...

The feature is weird, is going to be poorly implemented and create more problems than it's worth.
This is valid, methinks. I can't say myself since I know nothin about game-making, but if it ends up creating more and more problems, then best stick with adoption.

It seems that vampires can procreate; at least the men can with a non-vampiric woman: Agronak gro-Malog was the progeny of Lord Lovidicus with his Orc servant Luktuv.
Ah, a Dhampir. I wonder if the Dhampirs of Elder Scrolls have any powers?

As for lycantrophy, I imagine having a child that might be able to turn into a werewolf would be... problematic, at best.

My DB would be Emperor and troll of the Universe.
It'd serve his goals well, and give him some much needed lulz. Especially when he's trolling the Thalmor.

Wuuthrad just cant keep up as I go.
Time to make a Dragonbone War axe to crush my foes.
Or a sword....since I did put perks into that.

Though how funny is it to shoot a bandit in the eye, then hide and have him search for you--only to say, "Must have been the wind!", all while having an arrow poking out of his skull.

If werewolves are mating, wouldn't they produce a litter, rather than just "A child"? So we're looking at 5 or 6 children in one go. As a warrior and a *leader* of the companions who's also tasked with, you know, saving the world from apocolyptic doom, my schedule book is already filled. I just can't see myself having that kind of time to raise a friggin pack of babies.
Also, semi-off topic, don't Argonians lay eggs?

You raise a good point about packs/litters and...eggs. Creepy thoughts, both of them. Heh. Neither of which really sounds fitting for a Dovahkiin.
Honestly, I still think it sounds like The Sims.

Upon further thought...the Morthal House in Hearthfire allows you to build a Hatchery in your backyard. I suppose an Argonian couple *could* make do with that if they really needed to. lol
Not sure why, but that's pretty gross to me lol.

I started to play a new game recently, and just remembered how amusing the difficulty scale of this game is, unlike many other games, wich start very easy, and gets harder as you go, Skyrim is the opposite. You start as an wimp that gets easily killed by half of the enemies early on, only to become an unstopable badass later. I just stand there with my mouth wide open seing my low level character being easily killed by an dragon fire breath.
Well, you ain't seen nothing yet. In Skyrim a lot depends on your skill and perk choices. The game can sometimes become more challenging as you progress. Of course you eventually outlevel practically all content, and then most of the challenge is gone anyway.
Try playing Gothic 2. There you start REALLY weak. And boy, you do get real strong by the end. You actually get improved swordfighting animations and chains as you improve your skills.

I would like to try Skyrim again with no fast travel, a better levelling system, and no encumberance (and better magic for that). The trouble is I play on Xbox 360 so would probably have to wait for a GOTY edition, or 3-4 years down the line when I upgrade my PC
I really enjoy playing with no fast travel... just walking around exploring the world!
In the PC you can set how much weight the character can carry using just the console command or using mods that change the game configuration or add bandoliers and backpacks, unfortunately they don't work on Xbox...
I hope that in 3-4 years we already have the Skywind Mod finished... so we can go to Morrowind too.
Yeah, that sounds great. I can't understand why these options aren't available on 360
On the whole this review is exactly how I feel about Skyrim currently, and I'm just hoping that in a few years there are mods to address these issues, or a new TES game which does
