Make sure you're sneaky when you're there though.

I wonder if dragon's firebreath is considered magical. And if so, if it can be absorbed with the help of the Atronach birthsign's special power. Could be a potent advantage when fighting these beasts.
If birthsigns are in, that is.

No birthsigns, unfortunately.

Ok folks got a problem here. I was on the road headed to Leyawiin and I start getting something about "Countess Alessia Caro is unconcious". popping up on my screen. It was beginning to bug me but further on I find a downed painted horse, a dead lady named Hlidar Mothril a short distance from the horse and the countess dead body guard a short distance away. Now I've looked all over the area up to the briddge and cant find the countess any clues here would be appreciated.

She's an "essential" character, meaning she can't be killed. She often travels from Leyawiin to... can't remember, but her daughter or family member's the count/countess of somewhere, so she's scripted to go back and forth, occasionally finding herself ambushed along the way.

But since she can't be killed (hence the unconscious message), she'll eventually make her way back to Leyawiin as if nothing ever happened.

Ok so your sayin I can just releave the guard and Hilder morthil of their possessions and not worry about it as I'll never find her?<LOL>

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone, but isn't the fact Hilder is dead break a few quests?

May have overreacted, lol.
It can make a quest pretty difficult in any case. Need to sharpen your skills of deduction.
Or just check the Wiki.

I hope you didn't mean Bretons in Skyrim pics, nobody has those!

Hope Bretons actually look like this in Skyrim rather than just being paler skinned Imperials.

Not having birthsigns doesnt actually bother me to much. Especially since in game rune stones replace them and it allows for you to change style more freely.

Most of the birthsigns' effects could be easily replicated through spellcasting anyway. Dragon shouts look a lot better as their effects are unique and can't be replicated through spells.

Most greater powers could be replicated with spellcasting on oblivion, apart from scripted ones like 'blessing of talos' from knights of the nine. Speaking of them, i hope they get a mention or are even in skyrim.

I hope they look like their Daggerfall counterparts. The bretons of Oblivion and Morrowind are pansies. I loved the pirate face in Daggerfall :P

Don't know if anyone has a Gif of it.

Per character artist vsions, in Skyrim we will be able to easily distinguish between NPCs who are Nords, Imperials and Bretons.

Hmm that sounds neat, as honestly minus the Nords I found that hard to do in Oblivion.

I hope the Bretons have slightly pointy ears and perhaps more mysterious facial features.

Now I was checking out some of the weapons in the shops in IC and there is a cool sounding staff at the Rindir's Staffs shop called Apotheosis which delivers 33 each in damage of fire, shock and frost. I was wondering if anyone's used this and if it's worth the gold?

Also seen a sword in 3 Brothers Trade Goods called "Akavari Sunder Blade it disintergrates wepons and armor 100 pts or something like that there. What good is a sword like this if disintegrates the weapons and armor so that you can't use or sell them?

Yes Apotheosis is a great weapon.

You can easily repair armor that you find in loot. The benefit of an awesome weapon like the Akaviri Sunder Blade is that you can reduce your enemies ability to hurt you and defend from your attacks. Very useful weapon IMO.

then after you win the battle, just repair the items before selling them.

I know that you can repair the armor and weapons that you find. I do that with everything to raise up my Armorer skill. That one is getting up there<G> So with the Akaviri Sunder blade you can repair the weapons and armor and the can still be used? But not until they are repaired correct? If thats the case than my Armorer skill is going to be off  the charts.

Yes, exactly, the Akaviri Sunderblade (or any spell or weapon that disintegrates armor/weapons), damages the weapons and armor, so if you hit your enemy enough times they have to stop using it.

then after you kill them, you can loot the damaged items and repair them with your repair hammers.

I want some new info or pics. I hate it when Bethesda goes a long time without releasing any new info.
