You could get cured later by Falion, but I think you do have to become a vampire to do Harkon's quests.

One may do all the Main quests and the Dawnguard sidequests as a hunter; the Main and Vampire sidequests as a Vampire Lord.

The new armor and weapons, from what I've seen, but I haven't explored much of the vanilla game since I installed Dragonborn. I visited the Reach and Falkreath for some open quests I had, and was surprised to find Nordic (and later Stahlrim) gear on vampire corpses, after defeating them.

I read somewhere that people were seeing the new Hulking Draugr in Nordic ruins in Skyrim, so that must cross over.

Oh! The new shouts you get will be pretty handy anywhere.

The characters I've played also haven't been high level enough to see Serpentine dragons. I would love to see those in Skyrim proper.

^ True. I was mostly just addressing the vanilla game additions.

I'd like to list more stuff, as I've just thought of a couple of things, but they might be spoilery. I'd rather you guys discover them for yourselves.

^ You know, I really hate to say it, because it feels like sacrilege, but mounted combat in Skyrim is not good. Controlling a horse while trying to attack bandits is not as smooth as it could be. It feels wimpy. And not being able to cast spells is a weird limitation.

I had a lot more fun with that in Two Worlds I, believe it or not. Despite its many shortcomings, that was not one of them.

I'm hopeful that a patch or something will make mounted combat better. Dragonborn first though, right?

Wow, I just found out that you can't control the dragon path once you tame it. Shame on you Bethesda! What is the point of controling the dragon if it's just going to fly in circles?

I do wish you could complete Falion's quest by declining to lose your vampirism.

Yeah this is something you can see they really wanted to let happen.  You can practically feel it when your on the Dragon and you know it was certainly their intention.  Must of been a pretty gut wrenching technical difficulty to stop it happening.

Hopefully they figure it out in the future

Thing is, while mods make the other options available, I prefer to fight on my own feet. That said, official fixes would be great to see included for those times when dismounting is impractical.

I hope they don't keep dragonborn from PC because of the ps3. Fingers crossed for the rumor of the 18th.

I hope beth drops this stupid contract from their souls. I know there are tech problems with the ps3, but I'm pretty sure the PC version is ready to go.

I have an annoying bug where I keep getting a random 5 bounty from some of the holds and the Orc tribes... I'm not doing anything to cause this at all I'm half a world away when it normally happens. Whats causing this?!

Sounds like a theft bounty, but have no idea what could cause it when you are away. Try paying it off or serving the time; clean slate might work.
