At least we have a release date, but come one, next month? Still pisses me off.

I hope people DO A CERTAIN THING about the DLC and beth get's the message.

I need to channel this hatred somewhere.

Dont talk about piracy on the BSN.
Mods are a bit ban happy when it come to that topic.

February 5th? I was hoping next week, at least we know its coming some time. It still makes me angry, haven't we waited enough. The worst part about all this is that it is going to happen all over again with the next DLC. I wouldn't mind the waiting if PR wasn't all vague about it.

Assume they do not renew the contract, it shouldn't.

Hearthfire was not counted as a DLC.

So we should be free and clear next time 'round.

Assuming Zenimax's greed get's a hold of them again.

Smart of them to discount the PS versions.

Maybe they just gave up on trying to get it to work right.  If I were a PS3 owner I'd withold my celebration until my DLCs are downloaded and playable.

I can pick up Dishonored now with this month's gaming money.  There's no way Vanilla Skyrim will keep me occupied for the next 2 1/2 weeks.

But I do hope with the next DLC we get a release date, even if it's more than 1 month after the XBL release.

That's what we all thought about Dragonborn and we all know how that ended. I doubt the next one will be different. I wouldn't mind waiting that much if it weren't for Bethesda's PR which always complicates things by making vague statements. The funniest thing about it all is that people want to PAY for these things.

I wouldn't expect the next DLC to work any differently than this one. Maybe they'll take a lesson and hold the Xbox release til the others are ready, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It will just make for frustration.

I don't buy the secret two-month conspiracy theory, but a Feb 5th release date screams incompetence.

No kidding.  I got banned once on BSN for saying something like, "just try making a perfect copy of a Xbox game and see how well it works in an unmodded xbox."  It's the only time I've ever gotten a ban from a forum, and I wasn't even promoting piracy (I was telling someone their argument was invalid) though that was the reason given to me for the ban.

LOL  I know we're all a bit strung out and probably Bethesda doesn't deserve the flak.  They do pretty well by their fans, and their marketing is a hell of a lot better than some.  They're not afraid to say "we screwed up."

I think it's a reflection of how much we love the game that people are so hyper.  I know I really want this DLC, more than I did Dawnguard.  Bring on the grumpy Dunmer.    Also because I have nothing to play right now.  But Feb 5th will at least give me time to finish the DLC before Bioshock Infinite comes out.  Feb. 5th is also the date for CDPR's Witcher 3 reveal.  *giddy*

Yeah, some of us thought the Skyrim DLC would never be compatible, so it's nice to know that it's finally coming to the PS3. I understand how frustrating the wait can be, but I've gotten used to it.

I'm usually in this boat.  I love the game itself, but I waited a good long time after the releases of both Skyrim and Dawnguard, figuring that by the time I played it, the most egregious bugs would be fixed by patch or PC mod.

But for Dragonborn, I'm hard-pressed to wait.

So Bethesda has announced that all the DLC for Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn, will be making their way to PS3 sometime in February. All of it will be priced half off, so just over $20 for the whole thing, for the first week. Now I stopped playing Skyrim after this whole DLC debacle started, but with this announcement I can't wait to play the game again. Who else feels excited for this?
