Yeah, wandering mannequins is a gamewide bug. I don't know of any fix though there probably is one somewhere.Atalanta wrote...

A few glitches that I've encountered with the Hearthfire DLC on PC deal with the mannequins. First, they tend to move around from their original place, although being on PC, and I can simply use console commands to fix their position. Additionally, the mannequins occasionally duplicate items, although they haven't ever since I've been using the Unofficial Hearthfire patch.
A couple of times I've entered my house to find the mannequins up and walking around like NPCs ... very weird. And the rest of the time, they're floating midair in random rooms.
I only use a handful of mods (Frostfall, Wet & Cold, Footprints, and Climates of Tamriel), so I dunno what to do about it short of having an exorcism.

I don't really like cinematic trailers because they usually leave me like I wish the actual game was like that.... but in the end it never will. Oh well...
About the trailer, I like how the nord pops out of the hole in the end and it's all like "sup guys! Sorry for being late, but those undead dogs won't get killed by themselves"
And also, it seem people can now try to get an spot to playing the closed beta.

Then argued with my friend at school since he thinks its an utter betrayal of everything TES stands for.
Then again he said that about every game that is not Morrowind.
Anywho I am going to go back and try to start a Dunmer that I actually want to play.

It is rather annoying to see discussion of it clogging up my usual Elder Scrolls haunts. I open a thread on the lore forum thinking it's something new about TES and it's ESO.Giggles_Manically wrote...

I am playing my Dunmer right now, and quite happy with him. Unconsciously I think I made him into Drizzt Do'Urden- illusion mage + weapons master using dual bound swords. He's archmage and doesn't own a house other than the AM quarters so I'm spending a lot of time in Winterhold and Eastmarch. I like the little touches they put in to let you know you're near Morrowind, especially in the ash springs. Almost too subtle, though. Dragonborn should rectify that.

Still your nostalgia it shall provoke, even if the main quest is a bit of a joke
I hope Bethesda does better next time around, and that a far more solid questline can be found.

Hopefully.
The reports I read from the alpha players were good.
At least EA is not ruining...I mean running the show.
That is one thing that makes me happy about TES, it has nothing to do with EA.

This RP you're doing requires more than the average effort, kudos. lolThe Grand Oak Tree wrote...

I've never played Morrowind (tried but it gives me migraines) so my nostalgia level is low. But I still love Morrowind aesthetic. I would have loved it if the Grey Quarter was a lot bigger and more detailed. I've gotten all the mods I can adding Morrowind artifacts, drinks, etc. Very helpful on my current pt as my backstory for him is that he's searching for artifacts looted after Red Year, on behalf of surviving Telvanni wizards.

I was thinking about getting a BSN guild together for TESO. It'll be fun playing with some of you guys from this thread.

I think I'm going to wait until TESO has been out a couple of months before I try it, see what the verdict is. I'm still waiting to go for a second round of SWTORing before I expand my MMO horizon.
I need to get back to SWTOR as well I kept the sub going just to collect cartel coins.

I've signed up for the beta. Are those leaders in the trailer meant to be figures from lore? The daggerfall guy (a breton I guess) was pretty cool.

I'm torn on TESO, I'm don't think I'll try the beta. At least the intro cinematic was good.
I haven't heard much about it. I really like the fact they go with only one persistent world though. It makes so much better concept than five million different servers. I just hope it won't be instanced to hell.

Yeah, I actually enjoyed some of the other quests much more than the MQ. Apocrypha is pretty awesome, especially if you make a point of getting all of the Black Books, but otherwise...Miraak doesn't get as much airtime as you'd think he would. It's a shame, because I would have liked to have gotten to know him better. I actually enjoyed the Ahzidal questline, and even some of Neloth's quests, more. The Grand Oak Tree wrote...

That would be interesting. It's been a few years since I played an online game. What ideas do you have for a BSN group for TESO?

49% of people need to play as LIs,49% as PCs and 2% get to be dialogue wheels. Just so we feel at home!

I do not know what next Bethesda plans, but I hear we may go to the Redguard lands
And if we do, there can be little doubt, we shall be charged with helping drive the Thalmor out
For many requested a Thalmor-focused DLC, and killing more Thalmor sounds plenty good to me.
And Miraak was indeed a disappointing foe - he still was an interesting character though
My only regret is that we did not learn more, I had hoped we would get far more detailed lore.

It would be nice to meet the Redguard in their homeland ("curved swords"), and help them against the Thalmor. I'm sure some of them can provide more information on their struggle against the Thalmor, and their views on the Empire abandoning them to the Dominion.
