WHAT THE HELL!

I just ran into a bump or something...then my PC and Arvak went flying....all the way from Whiterun to halfway to Rorikstead.

I do believe I can fly now....

Hate to tell you this, Giggles, but...your pc is dead.

He is taking over the Headless Horseman's path, from Whiterun to Rorikstead. He will be missed, but we will sleep easier, knowing that your Dragonborn stands vigil.

Odd tangent I went on there.  Posted Image

I'm still thinking about Cyrodil Skyrimized, dern it.

I dont do the "DEAD IS DEAD PT" style myself.

Mostly because I dont have any other level 80 characters and such.
I want to do that Ebony Warrior quest.

^ Yeah, that seems very...stringent. How people play is their business, but it's certainly not a way I'd subscribe to. I'd never finish a single game! Posted Image

I still haven't fought the Ebony Warrior. I got distracted by Far Cry 3, tbh. I do need to get back to Dragonborn, but maybe a little time off will be good.

That one guy with the face wrote...

Bethesda would have to rework the name. "Oblivion" is a huge example of that. 'Skyrim' is a great name, because it doesn't stick out in an uninteresting way.

What's wrong with Oblivion?  The yokels would have been stumbling over Cyrodiil.

I would bet we get TES VI: Dominion or Alinor.

Wait...why are you talking as if we the TES VI: will revolve around the Dominion/elves? Did I miss something? Or is it just the rampant speculation that's just fun :wizard:

It is but speculation, my friend, we do not yet know what they intend
But it is the return of the Dwemer that I hope for, even though they supposedly do not "exist" anymore.
I admit, that tale of Numidium's "skin" I hate, I hope they did not really suffer such a silly fate
They would make worthy foes, indeed, a more open-ended fate is what we need
And as the mysteries of the Dwarves are still being revealed, I hope to learn the truth of how their fate was sealed.

Oh, just an assumption.  Most of the territories we haven't had a game in yet are in the Dominion.

Good money is on the next TES game being set on Alinor.
Where you start as a prisoner of the Thalmor.

Then have to stop their leader from unmaking creation in an epic battle.

That or they have an equally epic dance off, followed by a yo'mamma battle.

Oh is that what Auriel vs. Lorkhan was all about?

I heard a new bandit taunt today- "Was it something I said?"  ROFL

Anybody care to share favorite play styles? I prefer stealth, nothing like taking out a cave full of vampires without them seeing you. Then killing the master vampire while he sleeps, ha!

Stealth - Waking the Vampire with the block of a bow, and he still doesn't see you!

I prefer straight combat.
I open with Stealth though, kinda handy.

On another note we have only 12 days to wait for Dragonborn.
Weehee!

I keep trying to make a straight up fighter type, but I always just end up slipping back into my ninja ways, can't help it. Can't wait for the DLC!

People were talking about the in-game books...  this mod adds 200 books from previous TES games (that weren't already in Skyrim) and developer writings.  The quality is not as good as the ones that did make it in, I think (haven't read them all yet by a long shot), but I still get a kick out of seeing new titles.

I play a sword and board pally, so I usually do a shield charge or a VOULD charge.

I play Skyrim like I live my life: I have minions to do the dirty work (thank you, twin Dremora Lords)! Posted Image

All kidding aside, I always use a bow, regardless of class. I'm a sniper girl at heart, so that's alway part of my repertoire. But otherwise, I have at least one character per play style. In some cases, more. I just recently got into dual wielding - now that's fun!

The one I rarely ever use is sword and board. I just can't seem to remember to block, so it's pointless for me. Hehe.

I do not use Block much myself, but have seen on the Let's Play Skyrim vids that a well timed Block can prevent a whole lot of hurt; just that timing, twisting, and twitch play is not my line.

Sniper shots for the win!

I prefer to use a "jack of all trades" type of character. .Good in combat, good at stealth and good at magic but not great in any one category. My main vampire character is like that. However, I just decided to create a Redguard Werewolf/Warrior with no magic or stealth aside from a few restoration spells.

I'm also a archer. That little sneak perk for triple damage is really nice. But when the enemies notice me, it's one handed sword with shield. I'm not actually that good with blocking, but shield bash allows me to prevent myself from being damaged entirely.

If I had the money and place for a horse, I'd have one already. I love horses, I can't wait to get out of here and find a place better suited to actually have my own(once I can settle down, be self sufficient, and afford it).

As far as bows go, lemme save some money :3
