I'm still curious why you can't marry a Bosmer or Khamiit. I mean, the kitty I sort of get (don't think about their biology too much), but why not a Bosmer?

Well, not that there are too many Bosmer I'd actually want my Dragonborn to marry.

Enthir is only sexy because he has Garrett's voice. Otherwise he'd just be creepy. As it is he's sleazy-cool.  "There's certainly nothing illicit going on here, Arch-Mage."  LOL  I love that line.

Hmmm should really start playing some Skyrim again. I still haven't touched anything having to do with Dawnguard or Hearthfire I think.
It gives me warm and fuzzy feeling to know I have some 20+ hours of Vanilla game,  40-60 hours worth of official DLC content and couple of excellent mods on top of it to fus ro dah in.

I love archery.

I mean half the time I am just trying to do trick shots and pick off things at long range.

There is nothing better than sniping someone off at long range really.
Especially when you get the arrow cam.

Or that lovely melodic 'THUNK' that confirms you hit, even if it was too distant to see! This was sweet to my ears only yesterday when firing at a Dragon across the entire city of Morthal. And no errant kills!

Haven't booted up Skyrim since August 2012. Has it been that long since Dawnguard?

I believe I actually prefer it this way; not appearing too often, and major additions instead of minor ones. But they can remove all the included Achievements IMO, as long as they have no actual IG value.

Anyone know a work around for the "Retrieve the Fragment of Wuuthrad" radiant quest from The Companions bugging out and the fragment not being in the chest?

You can use the console to bypass quest stages for bugged quests. I did that for the quest to find Grimsever when all of the sudden the sword didn't appear at the end.

^ Cheers, but I'm playing on Xbox hence the need for a work around. I can't seem to find any tips on it anywhere.

Not if the console is XBox 360.  If that's the case then he has to reload a save before getting the quest and hope they assign the fragment somewhere else.

If you mean 'Proving Honor', the fragment is atop a table near the Word Wall; not in a chest.

I see, well I don't know what could be done in that case.

Well, of course. Bretons are awesome. I have three of them. Posted Image

I went through a Khajiit phase for a while there, then Bosmer. And before that, I made several Orcs, a Dunmer, and an Altmer. Now I'm back to Redguard - this one is also my third. My Argonian has gotten no love, sadly.

Strangely enough, the only race that doesn't interest me much is Nord...although Imperial should be a given. They're just so... *yawn* ...what was I saying?

Hey Imperials are fun to play.
Finding more money everywhere makes early game much easier.

Though I find my fave race to play is an Orc.
Mostly because smashing people upside the head with a giant warhammer is funny and the armor is cool.

^ I also have two Imperials. They're some of my better-looking characters, but the extra money thing doesn't mean much to me. In the early game, you can make quite a bit of cash just by picking crops and cave-diving. The racial trait is just kinda...boring. Expected. By the time you start making and selling jewelry, there's really no need for it.

Some of the best followers in the game are Orcs. Something about them is just hella cool. I totally get why you like them so much.

Yeah, he kinda makes me feel like I need a shower. Posted Image But I like him as a character.

Poor Valindor, any time I sided with the vampires in Dawnguard, they wanted him brought into the family. In one playthrough, they actually had me "turn" him more than once. Not sure how that's possible, but whatever. He seems like a really nice guy.

Sadly my only dude who joined the Vampires is my all-evil Khajiit.
I only use him when there are things I want to try that my main wont do.

Still being a master Assassin is pretty awesome.
Especially when I snuck up on a Dragon and stabbed it to death in one hit.

I'm the only one that likes Kharjo as a follower? For some reason I really like his character design. Or perhaps it's because of the cool steel armor he uses. You gotta love the amount of detail the beast races have in skyrim. Like Talen-Jei. He is such an friendly fellow. I feel bad for extorting his Inn Posted Image

I use both Kharjo and J'Zargo from time to time, and I'm sure other people do as well. I mean, come on, they're Khajiit!

In my Khajiit mage run (I'd put it down, and picked it back up for Dragonborn), I used J'Zargo as a follower, and resurrected a dead Khajiit adventurer as a thrall. I felt kinda bad about it, but it was fun to have a kitty posse for a time. It was all swaying tails and blink-blinking eyes.

I dont really join the Thieves Guild that much.

Mostly I ignore them and tell Brynjolf off.
Especially since I dont play sneaky types.

My friend ALWAYS does though...mostly since he wants in Karliah's pants. He refuses to accept that she wont fall for his character eventually.
Kind of pathetic come to think of it really.

Joining a criminal organization in the vain hopes you can steal someone's sweet roll.

I don't like the thieves guild that much, I only like the gear they provide and all the vendors they unlock. But I aways hate when I have to become an daedra's servant. I wish every quest had an option to cross them, like in walking nightmare or Taste of death.

That's the reason I never join them, I hate the whole idea of selling your soul to Nocturnal. This is also the reason why I don't like the Dark Brotherhood. I wish there was a NORMAL assassins guld which just kills for money and not for some dark god or whatever.

It is like Riften had someone writing it who was just to lazy to write a second path to take.

It would have been awesome to be a spy taking down the Thieves Guild and Maven.
Sadly no we have to let Maven and her brood run amok.

At least we can kill most of the Silver Bloods and their ilk in Markarth.
