Well, vampires came from a pact made with Molag Bal, so maybe he get their souls. But then again, an vampire is considered an undead being, as they lose their soul when they are fully turned, wich I find strange since the individual still maintains their personality and memories, something uncommon for an undead.
It's difficult to say with any certainty. The Opusculus Lamae Bal ta Mezzamortie claims Molag Bol forced himself on the Lamae Beol****, and that she was the first vampire of Tamriel. I know some accounts differ on the inception of vampirism.
For PS3 players, the Bethesda Blog posted the release dates for the DLCs for PS3: Dragonborn releases Tuesday, February, 12; Hearthfire releases Tuesday, February, 19; and Dawnguard releases Tuesday, February, 26.

That's good news. Geez, it took them long enough.

I'm glad they've finally got stuff figured out for PS3 players. I'm a bit puzzled by the order, though. Dawnguard last?

This is like choosing a favorite child. Or fuzzy quadruped. I can't do it; I love them all (pets, not kids, heh).

Lets see.
Dawnguard was beautiful, had the amazing area known as the Forgotten Vale(which I liked way more than the Soul Cairn), brought crossbows, etc etc. I loved it.
Hearthfire was simple. Built three new homes, got a daughter, and now the family life feels even better.
Dragonborn gave me Solstheim, Apocrypha, etc etc. Tons of new stuff to do.
In the end, I'd have to say Dawnguard was my favorite, though they were all good.
Now? I want MOAR.

What I mean is that they're not mantled to their mother anymore, hence not to humankind or elvenkind or whatever, they're a creature of Coldharbour.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...
Don't you still need a black soul gem to capture a vampire's soul or something? Doesn't that mean vampires have "souls"?
Here's a lore bit that I think supports this idea. I still hedge that what I'm saying is speculation. I don't really know if this is how it works.
"Greetings, novitiate, and know first a reassurance: Mankar Camoran was once like you, asleep, unwise, protonymic. We mortals leave the dreaming-sleeve of birth the same, unmantled save for the symbiosis with our mothers, thus to practice and thus to rapprochement, until finally we might through new eyes leave our hearths without need or fear that she remains behind. In this moment we destroy her forever and enter the demesne of Lord Dagon..."
This is from Mythic Dawn Commentaries. It's about Dagon, not Molag Bal, but what I think is that vampires might have a connection to Bal the same way.

I'm just going to say that whatever happens to vampires after they die is a mystery. Who knows what happens anyways.

Actually what does the cure entail? I've never played a vampire so never had to do it.

Well that's fine. I do think it a good possibility though, just sayin... A vampire is not likely to go back to the Dreamsleeve.

No I doubt vampires will go back to that. As for the cure it requires a black soul gem to restore "your" soul or something, at least that's what I understood from Fallion. Otherwise you can just go become a werewolf but that seems kind of dumb trading one curse for another.

Techless One here....
A reinstall after a couple of days is a decent decision; better to have stability now than later. Try these links for tips and assistance:

P.S. Perhaps another here; someone with Tech skills can aid in getting rid of old, possibly corrupted saves. Have no clue myself.

I'd say decide what type of character you want to be then make it happen. If you get a quest that isn't compelling enough to finish right away, disable it in your journal until you're ready for it. In the mean time, explore every location and talk to people as you travel to unlock more quests.

A black soul gem... so you're basically stealing someone else's soul to repair yours. Yeesh.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...

Yeah, even Falion warns you that you will have to kill someone. The last time I did it I just went after some bandit, I have no plans to cure vampirisim this time though.

Lol yep. In the ritual, Falion "calls upon the plane of Oblivion" to accept the soul trapped in the Black Gem in exchange for restoring your life. I wanted to change my Vampire's hairstyle but the sculptor wouldn't operate on undead.

I wonder if a lot of people will wait to get all 3 at once - I think I might if they were all released for proper computers that close together.
