I am almost giddy you could say.
Hopefully when it gets here it will be good.
Maybe next time we can get a Thalmor focused DLC.
Always fun to slaughter Thalmor.

That's great. I hadn't read that one yet.Elhanan wrote...
An amusing tome from the game; especially for those like myself that may never read them:

Holy crap, are you serious? I could be your mama! But you're definitely my favorite 21-year old... Well, if that doesn't make me sound too creepy now.LPPrince wrote...
I'm your favorite 21 year old, thats all that matters to me.
I got distracted by another butterfly recently, but I'm thinking now might be a good time to get back into Dragonborn. With PC players getting to see if for themselves tomorrow, I'm thinking the conversation in this thread will inspire me to carry on with my latest Redguard.
Oh, it's going to be glorious!

Or you can hold off 1 more week for our PS3 brethren. The thread should really take off then.

Aww man, hell yeah. Even though I completed the DLCs ages ago on my 360, it'll be nice to talk about and get the reactions of people experiencing things for the first time.
I cannot wait for PS3 gamers in here to experience the awesome that the DLCs brought.
Gonna be fun times.

You have a point, blaidfiste. I actually have 3 other games that I need to finish, and could use that time towards them. I'm right at the cusp of completion with Persona 4, Assassin's Creed 3, and Magna Carta 2. With an extra week, I might actually be able to cross a few things off my list!
Is it bad that I created a new Redguard, got distracted by something, and can't remember her name? Yeesh.
You've convinced me; I will wait. It will be nice to have everyone on the same DLC page.

Only just heard they have crammed the DLC onto the PS3 somehow, which is awesome!
I wonder if a lot of people will wait to get all 3 at once - I think I might if they were all released for proper computers that close together.
That's my plan; I'm going to buy the DLCs at the discounted prices, and wait for all three, so my Vampire Lord can grace Solstheim with his presence. It'll be nice to be a Stage Four Vampire, and roam Skyrim without needing to snack on some sleeping people, or dealing with a mob trying to murder me.

Have the main villain actually be afraid of you or wary at the very least.
I mean at the end of all the DLCs you have:
Beaten a Dragon who is the first born of a god
Beaten a Vampire Lord who is at least from the Second Era
Beaten a Dragon Priest who slaughtered scores of Dragons
Not to mention all you deeds in vanilla Skyrim outside of the MQ.
It is kind of getting lame when EVERY SINGLE VILLAIN treats you like a noob.
I mean I hate ME3 but I love that line:
"HOLY **** ITS SHEPARD"
So please Bethesda can we get some foes who actually treat the Dragonborn like a credible threat.
I am so tired of hearing someone go "BWAHAHA I AM A GOD YOU HAVE NO CHANCE"
It feels like you are going up against morons over and over again

What you're asking for is something very rare and treasured in RPGs, In fact, I've only played one game in my whole life that ever did it. Throne of Bhaal.... BG2's expansion pack. And at one point in the game it did it so well that it was classic comic relief. (for those who've played it: See Sendai's enclave. Her *general* is having a debate with a Beholder as you approach. The beholder looks over at you then turns back to the General and says:Giggles_Manically wrote...

Beholder: So, captain, is there anything you'd have me do before this Bhaalspawn squishes you into so much goo?
General: Hmph... that might not necessarily happen. ::: openly shivers in fear ::::

-Some kidnappers jump off cliff-
That is entirely the sane response.

I was going to take my Dunmer guy up there, but at level 39 he's probably still too green. So I'll use my Stormcloak character I guess. She's only level 50 herself and I had to beef up her frost spells since she's mainly a fire mage and I heard there are a lot of fire-resistant enemies.

One of them screams like a little girl.
Not as funny as the scene near Lothering:
"I DONT WANNA BE A TOAD AHAHAHHHHHHHHH!"
I laughed so hard I hurt my ribs.
Seriously though I cant wait to get home tonight and start downloading.

Tried this build with both Illusion and Conjuration, and have chosen to fall back to Destruction instead. Illusion requires a lot of investment, and so many things are Immune until about 90 ranks or so. And Conjuration simply needs a Dismiss spell, I guess; tired of temp helpers that will not move, or ones that return to me before the opponents are dead. Surprise!
And it may be fun to replay my Orc DB anyway, to fine tune the build a little more, and get him ready for 81st properly.
P.S. Question - Does anyone know which mods are (or are not) already compatible? Thanks!
