I saw some cultists for the first time yesterday, they look so cool! The quality of the character design in this game is amazing.

The creature design is also great. I love the rieklings. And then I come across this thing spewing black **** at me and he's ten feet tall... definitely a WTF IS THAT moment.

But I killed the netches for their jelly, and now I think I might have destroyed the only family of netches in Solstheim. I'm tempted to reload.  :crying:

Are the containers in the manor you can earn safe to put stuff in? I want to dump all the new Dragonborn stuff in there.

Can you get non enchanted cultist robes without having to resort to mods or something?

If you killed the ones by Raven Rock, never fear. There are lots more near Tel Mithryn, and some more on the other side of the island. You'll find a ton of them along the coast.

And, while you're near the coast, be sure to check out the smaller side islands. Pretty much every single one of them has something of interest on them.

That big spewing thing is a Lurker. You'll see lots of those in Apocrypha, but there are a couple in pond-ish locations on the East side of the map. Marked for Death works great on them. Especially if you let your Dremora Lords play as distraction! Or, try out some of the new spells and shouts!

Yes, they're safe.

Some of the new weapons didn't work on the weapon plaques for me; maybe you guys will have better luck. Mostly it was the scimtars - they just kept falling through.

Really my only major issue is the main quest, it was boring with the only good moments being with Mora and Neloth(which sadly only happen near the end). Also Frea was just zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Extremely disappointed compared to Serana.

Also dragon riding is just horrible, something that could have been good is just a disaster.

You didn't like Frea? That's too bad; I prefer her to Serana. If you take her along when you go in search of the Black Book with Neloth (Nchardak), she has a bit of extra dialogue.

The main quest is very short, compared to Dawnguard. There are many, many side quests to be had, and locations to explore, though.

Some of the MQ dialogue changes too, based on what you did previously in regard to Hermaeus Mora, and/or if you've already defeated Alduin.

Like with Dawnguard, there are lots of hidden gems. Well, with all the geode veins, I mean that literally and figuratively. Image IPB

Frea stayed in the village when I was able to get rid of her. Her voice annoyed me, she annoyed me, I had no intrest in the character and she failed to intrst me.

As I said Mora was fantastic, and Neloth is just the best. But that happens so late that I rather just explore the island and do the good stuff where with Dawnguard I enjoyed doing the main quest AND  the side quest(though Dragonborn does have better side quest by far)

I wish Neloth was a companion, I would love to travel with that witty dunmer.

Yup, alot of Miraaks dialog changes if oyu killed Alduin. If oyu did Moras quest in Skyrim his dialog is also diffrent as he calls you his champion and is really pleased to see you. If you are in the thiefs guild you get to know Glover more and find out a secret and I was attacked by a memeber of the Morag Tong with a writ because of my ties with the dark brotherhood

Though I heard there is some uniuqe stuff if you are also part of the collage, what is it? I don't know if I ran into it.

I wish Neloth was a companion, I would love to travel with that witty dunmer.

I waited until I was about 25-30 hours into the DLC before starting the main quest.

I basically meandered around Solstheim, circled the perimeter along the coast, poked my head into every cave, Dwemer ruin, Nordic ruin, etc., killed Rieklings, visited an iced-over castle (special quest in here), and did a ton of quests for Neloth. It seems that the more time passes, the more quests he gives you. I finally started on the mq after I knew I had most of the map uncovered.

I'm kind of glad I took things slowly, in retrospect. With the short MQ, I can see where it would feel a little unsatisfying, otherwise.

And I wish you could take Neloth on as a follower, too, but I can understand why he's not an option.

I loved going behind the mead hall, and seeing Rieklings working on the Beast stone, mumbling in their crazy language. I play with captions on, which makes that utterly hilarious.

I met the chief first and  lol'd when he talked. Ended up helping the nords though, but then I refused to lie for her, you can guess what happen to her ;)

Also the random gibbeirsh Rieklings say makes fighting them too funny.

^ Oh, but the chanting. You really have to witness the chanting. Image IPB

I need to meet the chief. I've only done the Thirsk quest once, and I met the Nords first. I rushed that one along, so I didn't get to see the other side.

And I agonized over that decision, and even re-loaded, because I thought I'd made a terrible mistake. Heh.

Man.

The Ebony Warrior.
Not very hard for my level 80.

I mean he was good, but really I have more issue while fighting a Legendary Dragon.
And yes before anyone gets miffed I replayed it on Master.
Still not all that hard.

What the hell is this, really? Frea attacks Serana for no reason, and she can't be killed off. Had to reset the hag with a console command.

Huh, at least she dual wields axes.

Those new Dragon priests are kinda badass, casting master destruction spells, but they still can't put a dent in my characters' HP.

And it sucks that their fancy masks are either heavy armour or light armour, so pure mages don't have use for it.

Who else thinks Hermaeus Mora is a creep. I do, my Dragonborn is not his champion no matter how much he says it. Out of all the daedric lords I think he is the most dangerous and scary, mainly because he doesn't really have any motivation to do what he does. What's the knowledge for? Why does he need so much of it? Just because its in his nature or is there something else to him. At least Molag Bal and Mehrunnes Dagon are clear about what it is that they want.
