So why does Hermaeus Mora say that my dragonborn "serves" him. Is that his way of trying to screw with people? My dragonborns are not ending up in Apocrypha, that place is dreadful, its even more depressing than the Soul Cairn.

If the Dragonborn refuses to serve Hermaeus Mora in "Discerning the Transmundane", Mora tries to persuade the Dragonborn that he has been influencing the Dragonborn's actions all along. However, given how angry he seemed at the Dragonborn's rebuttal of his offer to serve as his emissary, Mora could simply be trying to screw with him. It's likely a continuation of Mora wanting the Dragonborn to serve him as his new emissary, even if the protagonist isn't inclined to bend knee to a Daedric Prince.

Yeah he's all talk, still out of the daedric lords I think he is probably the most dangerous one, due to him possessing so much knowledge.

Possibly. It certainly gives Mora an edge, and his Xarxes' authored book was able to burn Septimus from a mortal existance simply because of the information contained within. Speaking of knowledge, considering how the Great Library of Jyggalag was supposed to be a bastion of information about all people and creatures in existance, and Dyus' own knowledge, I wonder if Hermaeus Mora saw Jyggalag and his realm of Order as a threat to Apocyphra.

sorry another question

this time about a mod, being fairly new to modding skyrim an well playing it one thing i did notice in game was the so called "civil war" was pretty tame so is this Warzones - civil unrest mod any good an worth downloading?

dont wannae break my game why im asking

Not used it myself, but have seen it in Gophervids Let's Play Skyrim Orc Warlock Pt 1 series; around Ep 10-12.; watched this again just today.

Personally, the mod is not for me. There may seemingly be a performance hit, but that is understandable; tossing 40+ fighting warriors and spellcasters together in already occupied areas is not my idea of a good time.

Pls take a look, and make your own decision:

http://www.youtube.c...36E33A53254841A

I use it and it causes a lot of trouble if not adjusted properly. My PC is very powerful, and this mod made the game freeze when I approached a heavily populated warzone, then again I do use high resolution textures for some stuff, I just lowered the spawns to whatever was the lowest possible. I doubt my PC has any issues running it but some people say that Skyrim's engine can't handle that many NPC's and that it is going to crash/regardless of your setup.

EDIT: Oh yeah and it has a lot of dirty edits too, but that can be fixed by cleaning it yourself.

Civil War costs some Fps, but certainly brings a "War" feeling to Skyrim. It also adds other Conflicts with Bandits/Forsworn and some other random stuff.

However the Mod is outdated, and can cause quite some problems (just read the comments) so I rather wait until MGE updates it otherwise you risk your savefile.

Are the Redguard racist towards others? I know Bretons are since Anton Virane, the jarl's cook in Markarth is racist toward his own just because they're "reachmen". I know some Imperials call Skyrim a "far flung end of the empire" and assume people from Skyrim are peasants. I hate those nobles.

Oh sure, they came to Tamriel and slaughtered the locals like any other colonizing group.  I think the Alik'r not wanting to give you the time of day is evidence of how they disdain non-raga'da.  Welcome to Tamriel.  :)

They are also very prejudiced towards mages like Trayvond(Redguard mage in Cheydinhal's Guild house) said, and after the Great War the Altmer in Hammerfell(if there's any) are probably treated like crap too.

Lol everyone is racist then. My guess is the Bosmer and the Argonians aren't all that different towards outsiders. I know Khajiit don't get alont with the Argonians or the Bosmer.

I mentioned this earlier in the week - here is the mannequin in the basement of my Raven Rock house who decided to creep me out by acting...human.

The Argonians are now led by a virulent anti-imperial faction called the An-Xileel.  They, and a Hist that was possibly rogue, likely conspired on the Umbriel takeover of Lilmoth in order to purge Black Marsh of imperial influence- killing a lot of people in the process.  Kind of like what we now found out happened to the houses in Morrowind like Hlaalu that were imperial-aligned.

The Khajiit fought the Bosmer a lot, but mostly I think they go with the flow because they're all zoinked on moon sugar all the time.

About Dragonborn:  I just realized tonight that Reikling huts are searchable.  The flaps come up like little ears.  Reiklings are the best enemy class ever.

None that I remember, most redguards I met in the game were nice people, there is even an redguard woman in dawnstar that got married to an nord man, they are even waiting for an kid (Look, there are pregnant woman in the game after all :wizard:). Eh, don't mind much about those imperials, they are all nobles, and we know noble people are aways a bunch of stuck up idiots. The imperial common citizens in Skyrim don't really have much opinion on their nord folk.

Damn I grind my smithing and it works for a few levels.

Now enemies are getting better then me again.
What level would you say it takes before you stop feeling weak?

Level 25 so far for me and I still have to be really careful around boss level enemies.

Probably somewhere between 30-40 for me. It really depends on how I've leveraged combat skills to the other types (Smithing, Alchemy, etc.)

Something does feel really wrong in that house. Aside from the weapon plaques that don't work, and the occasional humanized mannequins... maybe I just feel a bit guilty about slaughtering a family, and taking their home. I mean, I only spoke to the Councilor once; it's not like we're BFFs, so what do I care if he's got a mark on his head?

Really? I've never changed the difficulty - I still play on 'normal', (or whatever is not casual/easy). I might have to try master, to see if I'm up for it.

I recommend playing on expert, it's my standard difficulty. I tried master, but it was downright masochist, never playing that difficulty again. Expert is challanging, but at the same time you can survive as long as you know how to play the game.

Oh, happy, you are freaked out by mannequins? You should take a look at this quest mod Into the dephts, it will give you nightmares.

^ You're probably right. Expert would be a more realistic jump.

I'm not freaked out by mannequins, per se; just ones that are bugged, and act like NPCs. I play on 360, so no mods for me. And I don't like scary games. I'm kind of a chicken (don't tell anyone). Heh.

I play on adept but I didn't like that whenever I got hit by something it didn't do anything, so I installed some mods that make everyone hit you harder. Even the stormcloaks and imperials hit harder. Then there's also deadly dragons which makes most dragons a danger.

Aw, but he's so nice and so is his wife.  She bought a limited edition Lusty Argonian Maid, how bad could they be?  :D

Even though some people miss the gravelly ash voices, I like the new ones we got this time.  Especially the males who got some unique voices.

Hi there lurker.  You used the dragon riding in mainland Skyrim?  I wasn't sure you could do that.  I probably won't use the mechanic much, just as I ignored mounted combat.  It's nice that it's there but not very useful to me.

Oh, its not that scary actually. The mod pretty much involves into you going to investigate an haunted mine near riverwood. Its all dark and abandoned, and suddenly you start falling into closed rooms were mannequins suddenly appear behind you, as if they are stalking you.

Well, I'd never let him be killed! That would be bad for the town, and would probably mar the otherwise bright and shiny halos my characters all wear. Image IPB

And you're right, he is really nice, and I like his wife.

I love the new male Dunmer voices! I even like Frea's, although I wish she'd speak more. She takes stoic to a whole other level.

It isn't exactly a shining example of how dififculty ratings in games should work.  It basically just nerfs your damage a set amount(25%?) and boosts that of enemies.  Doesn't work that well for an archer at least. Sometimes dumb to have to unload 15 arrows to some random brigant. Still bit more exiting than just one shotting everything tho!

I think it all mostly depends on your current level and build. For a ranged class, specially archers, master doesn't feel all that dififcult  at all. Just...time consuming.  I wager it is terrible for melee  though.
