Does anyone have a song they think fits their Dragonborn?
If I had to use one I would say its "The Hero" by Amon Amarth.

Then again my guy keeps doing things that are not very mercenary.
Like frying Grelod the Kind.

Here is my dude:

Very nice use of the DB helmet.  How about this for a hero warrior type DB?  I don't play the warrior type alot but that song always comes to mind.  Especially the part with saving souls and being led to heaven (Sovengarde) when he dies.

Here's my Bospire and song.

Is there a reliable place for me to find a chaos weapon? Miraak's sword is cool but I'm getting bored with it.

*SPOILER*

Yes; look in Fort Frostmoth during a quest given from the Capt in Raven Rock. And this may be dis-enchanted for possible use on other weapons.

^ I put Chaos on everything, including follower weapons. In some cases, it will actually one-shot enemies that would normally take much more to kill. Love that enchantment.

^ Really? Lydia? Interesting, I might have to try her out.

I didn't notice anything new with J'Zargo or Serana; and I only took Jenassa there briefly, so I couldn't say if she had any new dialogue or not.

Yep, she makes an comment about Raven rock. She also seems be mesmerized by the giant mushrooms towers. She make an comment about Frea when you first meet her, and she also seems to find the Rieklings cute.

^ You know it! Image IPB

I just made her Steward of Lakeview Manor in another playthrough last week, as a matter of fact. If she didn't cap out so early (Level 30? Really?), I'd bring her along all the time.

Hearthfire was $5 dollars and next week for PS3 owners it will be 50% so $2.50 in the US. Not a bad deal for console owners who can't use mods.

I agree. It's a relatively small amount for Hearthfire. About the same price as a cup of coffee. I bought Dragonborn for a little less than $10 (if I recall correctly) on Sunday, and it'll be nice to play Dawnguard + Hearthfire + Dragonborn back to back (to back) once the last DLC is available.

Tempting, but after finding a Daedric Battleaxe with Stamina Drain of 75 pts, I look forward to looting and finding new gear as the game progresses. Think this is possible via Enchanting perks, but still was surprising.

Thanks, I had to console it in since I killed that dude ages ago and forgot what I did with the hammer.

Is there a reason why you're playing it in that order? I can't wait to get my hands on the new content. I wish the PS store would update already.

^ Well, that IS the original order that the DLC came out in... Image IPB

Story-wise, though, you could do them in any order. I usually do Hearthfire pretty early on, so I can store all my stuff in one place, instead of scratching my head every time I try to remember where I stashed items.

I pretty much store all of my stuff in Riften later on. That's the place with the biggest quantity of merchants after all, especially after advancing in the guild questline.

So she'll be having veal parmigiana.

The only new dialogue I've noticed with Jenassa is that she scolds you for reading the Black Books.

Enchant your own?  I disenchanted the Champion's Cudgel to learn it.

Indeed.

Neloth is the best part about this DLC. I'm starting to agree with the naysayers that Skyrim's quest lines are often predictable and bleh. They need to step it up a bit. I wish they'd hire MK back. When that ARG started, some of us thought it might be prelude to an announcement that MK was back at least for a DLC. That looks less likely now, but they really need him.

Bleh...  Breezehome looks like a place for dwarves or gnomes. I like the one in Markarth though, always enjoyed Dwemer stuff especially after I found that Dwemer Aircraft in Solstheim.

Btw... we need more Dwemer technology. (firearms, steam-powered cars, etc.)

^ But...we got Dwarven Crossbows, Zephyr (Dawnguard), Dwarven Ballista, and even new Dwarven pet followers...Oh! And the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate, and the Visage of Mzund (Dragonborn).  What more could you want?

Speaking of which, the puzzles in the Dwemer ruins in Solstheim were pretty awesome.

Honestly, the one thing that would make me squee like there's no tomorrow is if they added polearms. Come on Bethesda, this girl wants a Halberd! I'd even take a Naginata. Surely a sect of the Morag Tong used those. Right? *wink wink*

Anyone got a list of what quests affect Dragonborn? Dialouge wise.

I am doing the Hermaus Mora quest, the MQ, and getting into the CoW again.
Still enjoying playing as a god hating mercenary though.

Money, wine, and...well no women. Bethesda games have as much sex in them as the average Thalmor has redeeming qualities.

All I know is the Oghma Infinium quest (Discerning the Transmundane) and defeating Alduin (Dragonslayer). Sadly, the Alduin conversation with Miraak about that really isn't much to speak of.

I'll bet others know of some.

Okay. I already blew through Dragonborn so if there was some advantage to doing them in original order, it would be lost to me. Just asking. I'm waiting for Heartfire, but it isn't up yet.

I have it planned in my head though. Have all of the materials I need to build the houses that I can get without the DLC. Gonna adopt some kids in Solitude first because I want to see the new room they add on to the house. Then I'm going to build a a house in the Pale with an armory, a trophy room, and an enchanter's room. Next, a house in Hjaalmarch with a greenhouse, an alchemy lab, and a library. And last I'll build a family home in Falkreath with a bedroom wing, a kitchen, and extra storage for all of my assorted crapola. I want a big bustling house with a bard, a steward, the Dragonborn's wife and two kids, the driver, bring by a follower, and is there a housecarl too?

Can't wait. :D
