Indeed.

Neloth is the best part about this DLC. I'm starting to agree with the naysayers that Skyrim's quest lines are often predictable and bleh. They need to step it up a bit. I wish they'd hire MK back. When that ARG started, some of us thought it might be prelude to an announcement that MK was back at least for a DLC. That looks less likely now, but they really need him.

Yep here's a fantastic opinion piece on what's become of the TES games. I don't agree with the constant use of "dumbing down" and "console kiddies" however the rest of what he says is on point.

need to figure the mods out that allow your adopted children and your spouse to live in the modded house, sure i do it right but never works an next thing i hear of the spouse is a courier message saying there dead lol

^ Well, that IS the original order that the DLC came out in... Image IPB

Story-wise, though, you could do them in any order. I usually do Hearthfire pretty early on, so I can store all my stuff in one place, instead of scratching my head every time I try to remember where I stashed items.

Okay. I already blew through Dragonborn so if there was some advantage to doing them in original order, it would be lost to me. Just asking. I'm waiting for Heartfire, but it isn't up yet.

I have it planned in my head though. Have all of the materials I need to build the houses that I can get without the DLC. Gonna adopt some kids in Solitude first because I want to see the new room they add on to the house. Then I'm going to build a a house in the Pale with an armory, a trophy room, and an enchanter's room. Next, a house in Hjaalmarch with a greenhouse, an alchemy lab, and a library. And last I'll build a family home in Falkreath with a bedroom wing, a kitchen, and extra storage for all of my assorted crapola. I want a big bustling house with a bard, a steward, the Dragonborn's wife and two kids, the driver, bring by a follower, and is there a housecarl too?

Can't wait. :D

Yep he/she will patrol your grounds during the day and sleep in one of the rooms at night.

I plan on it but I've played a bit of Morrowind and most of Oblivion before.  It may take some getting used to.

Thanks. The more the merrier.

OMG. Did anyone else find the letter from Glover Mallory to Sapphire?! That letter was so unexpected and touching. I want to go back to Riften and give it to her. Maybe she'll have some peace.

The mechanics will be annoying.  Mods can help.

You know I wonder if we will be getting one last DLC or maybe more.

I wonder what any future ones could be about too.
Personally?

1) A Falmer/Early Nord DLC set deep underground about what really happened. That could touch upon Saarthal, etc.
2) A Thalmor invasion DLC. Post Civil-War where we get to name a new king or queen and repel the Thalmor.

Besides that though hopefully we get some more!
I really enjoyed all three dlcs.

I would love an Thalmor invasion DLC. It's about time we kick them back from the hole they crawled out from. You will have 3 options in the end: destroy them; control the Thalmor army; or fuse man and elf together. Refusing will aways result in the nords losing the war. Image IPB

Skyrim keeps consistently scoring absolutely ridiculous numbers on Steam's " most played games atm" rankings. Saying it has stayed on radar of them masses is an understatement. I'm sure we keep getting new DCL for a good while still.

I'd much like a Thalmor DLC that makes them look just a bit less like huge ****s.  Mmmaybe eventually an expansion where you play as Thalmor and observe goings and comings  of the  Dragonborn from an external POV! You think Thalmor look bad? Imagine how you look from their POV D: Bunny hopping all over the place, stealing hard grown wheat of poor farmers,Fus Ro Dahin old ladies off cliffs. You are such an  **** rly!

I found a mod that restores unique names to soul gems. It is way cooler to have black gem that says  "Soul of Vittoria VIci"  as opposed to mere generic static " grand soul".Think I have to start a collection.. who cares of Dragon Souls, tis human souls where the fun is at! My precioussss.

I doubt they would put something as big as that in a DLC. I do want the Thalmor to show up but instead of explaining their story, which I believe deserves a game they should introduce the beginning of the second great war or something and if rumors about that Redguard thing are to be believed, something will be happening in Hammerfell which quite frankly would be the perfect place to bring in the Thalmor.

I actually want to be able to join the Thalmor, just for the option. I mean a player can do a lot of questionable things and nobody really calls them on it so it wouldn't be quite the stretch. Obviously Altmer would be the only ones with any true respect but I imagine a Dragonborn of any other race would still be pretty valuable. You could be a double agent.

Probably won't happen but it would still be fun to have.

You never know, they did let us join the vampires in Dawnguard, too bad there wasn't any choice with that prophecy affair though but then again that's not really something you do with a DLC.

Bethesda is not really big on the opposed joining factions things.
Which is why I love FONV for letting me join or oppose factions as I feel.

OH god nothing beat hearing Caeser list for a full minute all the plans I blew up in his face then saying "SIC SEMPER TYRANNIS!"

I really hope Fallout 4 is more like FONV then Fallout 3.

Still working on getting my Skyrim to run. God damn slow internet and people watching Glee over netflix at m house.

I also want to join the Forsworn. I think it was stupid to help the King in Rags but still be attacked by every group known to man, mer, and beast.

Btw, does anyone know when Hearthfire will be updated to the PSN? At this rate it will be Wednesday before it updates. :?

I know, right? This is a problem of Sony's. The PS store updates whenever. Strong deterrent when it comes buying the PS4. No Assassin's Creed DLC up either. XBOX has their DLC though. Already seeing youtube videos on it.

I never side with Madanach or Thonar Silver-Blood, I just kill them both, that city is better off without a deluded psychopath and a greedy bastard trying to screw everyone over. I just wish Thongvor could be eliminated, at least when you side with the Stormcloaks.

I happen to like the dark grittiness of the Forsworn and only wish I could learn more about their culture. Besides, everyone is messed up in Skyrim though I do agree about the Silver-Bloods.

(Finally it's updated.)

As far as I know the Reachmen have been fighting for the Reach since forever according to the stories about Red Eagle, their hero. They claim the land as their own but everyone has practically ran over them. That story about Red Eagle also clarifies the connections between them and the Hagravens, since it was they who made Red Eagle into a Briarheart. Nonetheless, no one likes them, because they worship Daedra and raid towns. I think they have bad blood with the Redguard, Nords and the Bretons themselves who are just the same as they are. I think that the land they claim as their own isn't really there, before them the dwarves were there as evidenced by the many ruins. I think the Nords took over afterwards but I don't know.

I doubt it would happen because then the Thalmor would have to have a chance to win and that's not going to happen.  Their presumed plan is to destroy the world in order to escape mortality, so either a ) Nirn goes poof, or b ) they blow themselves up in a similar godhood gambit as the Dwemer.

I'm guessing whatever happens is too big to deal with in a DLC, so it will either be TES VI or it will play itself out in the interim time between games.

I too like the Forsworn...as dead thralls   The dual wielding ravagers mow everything down.

As for the Thalmor, I'd like TES VI to take place on the Summerset Isles and address that topic.
