You know I hate my over active screen cap finger. I had to spend the last hour cleaning out pictures I did not need or want.

I did get some I liked:

I think I love Dragonborn simply for the Nordic Carved armor. Finally an armor that I actually like wearing AND with decent stats. Plus it kind of resembles Ysgramor's statue.

Still working on levelling Restoration though. Also I really enjoy spiting the gods in every way I can. When I do pick up the Oghma Infinium I am going to chuck it into the ocean and tell Mora off.

It annoys me friend since he is a huge Daedra fan and always does everything for them.

Dang it, Giggles, do I have to keep telling you that I'm a girl? Posted Image Hehe, j/k.

I keep doing all the Daedric quests, because I still haven't gotten that blasted Oblivion Walker achievement. Then I get distracted (ooh, butterflies!), and do something else, and I never get back to it.

I keep thinking, 'maybe this is the playthrough where I'll get it'. It never is. It's my own fault, I know.

I won't ever get that achievement because I won't kill Erandur, sacrifice someone to Boethiah or indulge Eola's crazy.

Can't say I'm that fond of the new Nordic armor. What's with all those stacked plates? That... just makes no sense, forging wise. I know, it's fantasy blah blah. I do like the chitin armor, minus the weirdass helmet, so I'm going to enchant my Dunmer boy a new set to celebrate him hitting level 50.

there are some stuff in the game I never do, like betraying Erandur or helping Eola (I actually pretend to be helping her so I can kill all the cannibals once they are reunited >:3) I don't like leaving open spots in my journal, so I just sacrifice the follower I dislike the most and be done with it. I feel a little bad about helping Molag Bal, but since the guy I kill is an priest of Boethiah, no harm was done.

The Erandur/Skull quest would be so much more interesting if the daedric stsff you received as a reward was actually powerful enough to tempt the Dragonborn into committing such a dark deed. In general that's probably my biggest gripe about rewards and loot. Craftable and even generic loot are too good compared to major quest rewards and alleged daedric artifacts.

I know that Enchanting can spoil me a little. My next DB will get back to Smithing only, and will rely on finding all his gear rather than custom designing the set.

This guy is annoying, impossible to defeat him on higher difficulty. It's like a humanoid dragon keep shouting at you until you're dead.

Aaedra or Daedra, they both are the same!  they don't care about the people!

It is just funny as hell to spite Daedra though.

I mean sometimes they sound PISSED and it is AWESOME.
Besides I dont need squat from them really.

When I get anything for the ones you cant avoid, I toss their crap in a trunk somewhere.

That IS the best way, IMVHO. Enchanting just spoils the game... and it's prizes way too much.
Only I find the Weapon and Armor Fixes mod mandatory - it's important that the good quest reward stuff (like Guildmaster Armor, Nightingale kit, Shouded Armor, etc.) uses proper smithing perks to remain relevant. That way I also get to actually enjoy the quest rewards, their unique looks and the enchantments they carry.

@blaidfiste: I do have to say, Neloth is fast becoming one of my top three favorites. I've got about ten. I just love snarky/cranky/arrogant men.

As for the Daedra topic I still haven't managed to get all items in one sitting. I've never managed to do Peryite's quest. I stumbled across the worshippers once and ran like the wind when they started to projectile vomit on me. I can handle a lot of things but not that. I did Eola's quest once with my werewolf character and Boethia's with my Daedra's **** character.

Btw, did anyone else experience the Boethia Cultist popping up in the most random areas? I was about to assassinate the Emperor when the cultist entered the back door, tried to then kill me where the Emperor got out of his chair, proceeded to butcher the cultist, then calmly sit back down and proceed with his conversation. It was really odd and funny.

Hearthfire is so buggy. I made Uthgerd the Unbroken steward of Lakeview Manor and then moved her to Windstad Manor to serve there for my convenience while I built my house. When I bought raw materials for my new house I thought it was strange they weren't showing up in the chest like last time. No biggie. I'll mine it myself on the property. With the house complete I decided to move Uthgerd back to Lakeview Manor, but nooooooooo. At first she wouldn't follow me. She would say she was, but in practice wasn't. Finally, when she did actually follow me, she wouldn't become the steward at Lakeview. Then I realized the materials I bought for Windstad where in the Lakeview chest. BS. I don't know how to fix this, but I read that killing a steward is the only way to fire them, so I reloaded to the foyer at Windstad Manor, killed her and stuffed her body facedown in the display case. Now to see if that worked.

EDIT: It worked! Sorry Uthgerd. Would've played it differently had I known.

you can get two from the Hircine quest.:
side with the werewolf, kill all the hunters, leave and get the Ring from Hircine; go back in, kill the werewolf, and get the Savior's Hide... 2 Daedric Artifacts! unless Bethseda fixed that...

two of the easiest was of course getting the Wabbajack, and the Ebony Blade.

speaking of the Ebony Blade- has anyone else gotten it to "full power" by killing "friends" with it? i keep trying to think of people i can kill, that i wouldn't mind missing. but it's a two-handed sword, wit absorb life, that benefits from one-handed, apparently...

Ugh, how I hate brawls in this game, it's ridiculous how these retarded NPCs keep walking in FRONT of me while I'm beating someone, and even worse, it's considrered assault! It's not my fault these idiots got in my way. The whole crime system should be disabled during brawls.

You're lucky, at least Windstad Manor appeared in your game. I built the house and then realized it was invisible or nothing was ever built so I had to resort to Heljarchen Hall. My steward was also apparently "dead" but then when I used the console to get to him he was in the place where the game keeps the dead NPCs, so I had to make him non essential and then kill him again to get a new one. It was unfortunate too because it Ghorbash the Iron-Hand and I'd prefer him over some boring Imperial.

Sounds horrible. It's like Bethesda doesn't test this stuff out. At least you could semi fix your problem on the PC. I hope that never happens to me on the PS3. I wouldn't be able to. Bet I just jinxed myself.

Yeah, well that's a reality with anything Bethesda does or most big games anyway. Too much coding and stuff. The only thing I hate about that glitch is that it is random, so you never really know if it will happen until  it happens.

I had that same thing happen with Windstad Manor not showing up. Haven't had any trouble with Heljarchen or Lakeview.

I suspect you can't move stewards once they're assigned. As for building materials, I do know that cut wood you buy for one location will show up for all of them. I consider this a convenience.

So apparently Mercer Frey likes a good Bard song because I was talking to Delphine down in her cellar and I looked behind me to find him missing, I go upstairs and he has a tankard of ale and is waving his arms to a song in a dark corner,10 seconds later he decapitates a thief outside. The contrast and knowing his personality made it quite funny.

(I think he knew that my character was judging him and he was trying to regain his street cred.)

Is that a bug? If it is then I suggest they do not touch it. How come nobody has fixed that quest in Dawnstar? That should've been fixed a long time ago.

I almost think that the 360 version of Hearthfire is less buggy than the PC and PS3 version. I mean, I haven't had any of the issues you guys are talking about. The one I did have was the lock-ups within certain houses if you didn't get rid of the workbenches, but that's it.

I never tried moving Stewards. My thought was that I'd want someone at my house, guarding my stuff while I'm away. And if I have a Housecarl too, the more the merrier; and that means better security. Once you have giants and bandits/vampires attacking all the time, it's really the only chance your cows and chickens have.

You must think of the cows and chickens. Posted Image

Just started building Heljarchen Hall and noticed the grain mill is not automatic like the grain mills on farms like the Battle-Born farm for example. What, didn't think the Dragonborn could spring for that? Think I want to be in the cold, snowy Pale working a grain mill?

And has anyone else had issues with their apiary not working properly? I'm not seeing or hearing bees around it. And in my greenhouse, I don't see butterflies or torchbugs but I hanging moss. I do keep the doors open if that affects it. And weirdly my stewards aren't sleeping in their beds. They seem to like the nice double bed in the upstairs of the main hall, but instead of sleeping on it, they stand next to it. The housecarls don't have this problem. They pick a bed and sleep in it.

@happy_daiz; I've had two horses killed by bandits and lost a chicken to wolf attack. The Steward was nowhere to be found. Erik the Slayer and I need to have a chat. Perhaps he hasn't seen that display case with Uthgerd...

I do use them, regardless, there is only so much they can fix anyways. That problem with Windstad Manor still happened even with the Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.
