What version of Skyrim is everyone pre-ordering? I'm skipping the physical copy for the PC and getting directly from Steam.
I'm getting a hard copy from Gamestop. No midnight release though

I'm begining to wonder if I shouldn't have made Marksman and sneak two of my primary skills. Seems that they are the ones that I use the most. Especially in dungeons. I"ve gotten pretty good at sniping enemies while sneaking around. Sure keeps my damage at a minimum and them two skills are getting up there pretty good. Journeyman in both of them.

Naughty, you're a mod on the Bethesda forums? Congrats! How did you become one? I haven't been in there in a while because my email account stopped working and it wouldn't let me in. I have to re-sign up again.

I had to perform a dragon shout loud enough to frighten Todd Howard. And then I had to defeat all the other mods in no-holds barred backyard wrestling.

The Umbra Sword is an artifact designed with the sole purpose of entrapping souls. The ancient witch Naenra Waerr created the sword by imprisoning Umbra in it. Umbra was a dark being, in the shape of a man but with eyes like holes into nothing, and craved souls.
Naenra was executed for her evil creation, but not before she hid the sword. The sword took on a life of its own, remaining hidden until a worthy wielder was found. Umbra would then slowly take control of the wielder as its hunger for souls began to steal their's.
In 3E 427, an Orc warrior who went by the name of his sword, Umbra, was spotted in the mountains outside the settlement of Suran on the island of Vvardenfell. The Orc's only desire was to die in battle, but no foe could defeat him.
At his request, the Nerevarine (the hero of Morrowind) bested the Orc in mortal combat and claimed the Umbra Sword. The sword came into the possession of Torasa Aram later that year, and was put on display in her museum in Mournhold.
Sometime after the events of 3E 427, the sword was discovered by a Bosmer named Lenwin, from a small settlement in the area somewhere in between Skingrad, Bravil and the Imperial City. She became bloodthirsty, and began calling herself Umbra after the sword, retreating to a nearby ruin.

I was hoping to try the new "Andoran" mod for Oblivion before Skyrim, but it seems they might not be finished with the translation of the dialogue until around the time Skyrim is released:
The latest screenshots from Andoran look amazing! It's like an entirely new game.
Are Rohugh and Freddo still around? Haven't checked the Bethesda forums in a long time. Too big and crowded a place for me.naughty99 wrote...

Did you play the Nehrim total conversion mod? In many ways it is much better then the original game (such as much less pointless, copy-pasted dungeons with useless random junk, amazing hand-placed environments, much stronger story focus).
It can be found here:

Never heard of her. Did she voice the female Elves in Oblivion and Morrowind?Gurris wrote...
Also, we have the amazingly talented Lani Minella doing female Dunmer/Night Mother/Nocturne
Was pretty shocked when I looked at the list of all the games she's been in and the vocal range she must have!
I think I've been most exposed to her voice in the Diablo series, where she did Adria The Witch, Andariel, The Countess, Blood Raven, Malah... and all of the the Ancients ^^
Huh, I've only heard her in Torchlight. Seems like a talented lady though.ErichHartmann wrote...
