I wouldn't be that severe with them to be honest, that just makes the Empire look even worse. I'm not even fond of having to kill Ulfric, he should be  jailed or something not executed. That's what creates a martyr and it is barbaric as well, we should be given the option to have him arrested.

How can you arrest someone who can Shout like that?

You gag him, they did that didn't they? It worked, besides at the end Ulfric's army has been destroyed and his supporters have been exiled. What else can he do? He has nothing to fight with

Has there been any indication of a game of the year edition with the dlcs by the end of the year ?

Who could know? Besides, from the looks of it, not every DLC has been released, I doubt they'll announce something like that before that's done.

If they're smart, they'll keep selling DLCs until people aren't paying these crazy prices for them. Only then, after 6 months, should they put out a GOTY. The way I look at it, the more DLC they release, the happier I'll be. My husband will get a GOTY version most likely as he still has a list of other games he wants to play first.

Same goes for me, I'd pay for any DLC they make, I think this game just became my favorite. However, I think the next generation of consoles could potentially hamper DLC or maybe not, that is if people decide not to want to buy the next consoles.

Keep sending non-killable essential guards after him.  Worked on me.

Those aren't rumors, they're reddit trash and have been thoroughly discredited.  I think the OP even came back and admitted he made it all up.

Watch out for Francesco Leveling Mod and Obscuro Oblivion Overhaul.  Those are popular mods but they add a bunch of other stuff that you may not want.  I'm only playing Oblivion for the main quest and Shivering Isles.  I've done the other stuff to death.

Ok.  Do you know of a high resolution mod?  I found one at Planet Elderscrolls but none on the Nexus and I prefer using NMM.  I've only come up with little mods that change individual textures, not an overhaul.

Searching for "high," I got 2 pages of high heel mods.  Oh, Nexus.

Imperial Legion Rep: Lies! Clearly that's Stormcloak propaganda and a badly photoshopped one at that. Also we have  stated multiple times that we were only keeping the "Thalmor" out of Skyrim, and that the "Thalmor Justicar" are different from the plain Thalmor so they don't count, which means we have lived up to our word so far.

Those pointy-eared bastards! hope we get a chance to nuke the Summerset Isles! Man is superior than Mer!

Imperial Legion Rep: Shhh! You'll give away our plan damnit. Plus how did you find out that we learned how to develop enriched uranium from Dwemer texts that were given to us by Sheogorath out of the kindness of his heart?

Yeah, I've filtered out things as much as I possibly can in Nexus and I still get stupid crap that has UNP or CBBE all over it or those damn skimpy outfits that aren't quite "adult". That place is funny at times, don't know why anyone would need all that crap in their game anyways.

NVM: thought those mods were for skyrim not for oblivion, I'm wondering if I should get Morrowind and Oblivion, the graphics might make me stay away from them though, I just can't stand them.

Well I think you already know about the more decent wones which are SkyRe and ACE, there's one more called Requiem but I think it is more hadcore than the other two. I do not suggest you SkyRe even if it is as good as it may be, the problem with it is that you'll have to get compatibility patches for pretty much everything.

I'm also running Morrowind with this mod http://morrowind.nex...com/mods/36945.  It has many animation and gameplay tweaks.  It's working well so far since I haven't quit.

The Let's Play Skyrim Again series by Gophervids on youtube started with ACE, and then switched to a planned install of SkyRe for the remainder, if you wish to see either system in play. Personally, I do not see the need, as there are decent mods that 'fix' Destruction, Smithing, etc if you have the wish, and the overhaul mods are far too much for my own game.

Yeah, but it's clear that General Tullius won't take that risk. Skyrim can't stand on it's own. We need the Empire, even if the Empire isn't what it once was.

I agree but going as far as killing him is not exactly the best approach IMO. Same goes for Ulfric killing General Tullius , why can't he let the General go back to Cyrodil instead of killing him like that.

Because it wouldn't have made a difference. The idea was to end the rebellion and unify Skyrim against the Dominion. The Stormcloaks try to make it out like the Empire and the Dominion are the same entity. But that isn't true. If they hadn't banned the worship of Talos, (and some other demands made by the Thalmor) the Empire would have been destroyed and Skyrim would have fallen.

This is a wonderful read for those who are still on the fence or still support the Stormcloaks.

Read it before, but the points being made here are valid. Sometimes it doesn't seem like the Empire is looking out for Skyrim instead it feels as if Cyrodiil is just looking out for itself and it is as it was said, the Elder Council is no good. It is people like Tullius that are keeping the Empire alive. Still, having Ulfric executed has the potential to cause more problems, it can make him a martyr and inspire further rebellions, that is why I'd prefer if they jailed him and if they Empire tried to be a little less harsh with the Nords, they are not the enemy.

After working my way through Tomb Raider I'll probably do Dawnguard. Will be interesting to see how that one plays out. Hopefully no Sparkly Vampires.
