Recent favorite dialogue: *SPOILERS from the Reluctant Steward Quest*
Neloth: "Have you seen Varona? I'm hungry."
DB: "No, I haven't seen Varona:"
Neloth: "Well find her. Tell her I want apple cabbage stew, with some canis root tea."
DB options:
■Why don't you just make your own tea?: "What? Make my own tea? I am a master wizard of the house Telvanni. Other people make tea for me."
■Of course, Master Neloth. As you command: "Finally. Someone who recognises my importance around here."
■Hey, I'm not your servant: "Obviously not, or you would have a cup of tea in your hands. I supposed you want to be asked nicely. Very well. Please, oh hero of Skyrim. Please find Varona. I shall be ever so grateful."
lol - I chose the last one, and was smiling for a while.
I like Neloth. And I chose the dialogue about making his own tea, and not being his servant. I smirked when I brought him a Black Book and he said he was going to make a copy just to be on the safe side, and then handwaved the fact that I was keeping the book. I'm curious to see what he says next.

How did you deal with Mogrul?
Last night (or this morning, depending on how you view it) I handled this matter by riding a Legendary Dragon into Raven Rock, casually entering the Retching Netch, being in a sneak position, using the paralysis spell on him, which caused him and Slitter to become hostile, allowing me to kill them both without getting a bounty. I did Raven Rock a favor. I'm only disappointed that people weren't throwing me a parade in the streets.
And I took his Tavern clothes.

This is why I work alone!
Serana just runs in and gets everything to agro her....moron.
Ugh I need to find a mod or something.
I almost always worked alone in Skyrim, until I had Serana and CuSith with me for a little bit, but Solstheim is where I've had companions with me for almost the entire time. My Riekling Hunter pal has been with me since I became the new Chief to his tribe, and after having Frea with me for a while (until she left my side after our little Dwemer adventure with Neloth), I have Teldryn Sero making wisecracks with me.

Hey, did Mjoll get new dialogue? We were in Southfringe Sanctum (Bashnag's coven), and she said a couple of things that made me stop in my tracks. One thing was regarding dark magic, and the other was about killing the spell-casters as soon as possible, before they could summon beasts we didn't want to deal with. Or something to that effect.
Maybe it's just been a while since I've taken her out in that situation, but I was surprised. And dang, her incessant yammering is annoying. I was half considering bringing her to Solstheim, too.
I like Dragonhide. I believe it hits the armor cap, giving you the most protection, and my points into Alteration (along with being a Necromage Vampire) have allowed it to extend longer than it usually does otherwise. My Dunmer mage only wore the Archmage robes when he was heading to face Alduin through Skuldafn, and archers can kill you in one shot (without any magical protection) when you're putting most of your points into magicka. Dragonhide basically allows you to walk right up to their face, laugh at them as they shoot you, and kill them. It also helped with the more difficult foes that I encountered in Solstheim, even though my character is now wearing the Royal Vampire Armor.

^ Yes. I'm not absolutely positive that mage armor is helping me while wearing that crown, tbh. I don't improve it, so the armor rating remains at 0, but I don't know if I'm boinking any benefit I would be receiving from flesh spells.
The Aetherium Crown only increases in value, even if you smith it to Legendary status.
