So much hate for my man Heimskr. He's just preaching the truth. When Talos is brought down and Nirn is unmade, THEN YOU'LL BE SORRY!

I read up on the Champion of Boethia, and apparently Boethia wants him dead because he became a good guy. I read that if you can calm the Champion down from his initial hostile status, he says: "Mind my words or I'll mind them for you: I'm slave to no man, no god, and no Daedra. Boethiah talks about leaving your mark, a sign of your passing.... Well, you can make a mark on the world without treachery and murder. Whenever a man's life is saved by armor made with these hands, these hands have changed that man's destiny and his family's. So you can tell that heartless Daedra **** I'm done doing her dirty work."

Makes me view Molag Bal's request to kill a priest of Boethia very differently if Boethia is willing to slay her former champion simply because he saves people's lives instead of taking them.

I shot him once and the town went crazy lol, but that was after saving so when I decided to return to questing I reloaded. At a later date I'll slip him a Frenzy poison and keep my name clean. ;)

I'm hoping someday developers will let our 3D characters use their arms to climb, mantle, and crawl in games like this. Imagine going through life only being able to jump to get over short obstacles. :P

What??? I'm so ashamed. I never tried that. In many playthroughs, I didn't do that quest, because the initial sacrifice was bad enough.

I may never get Oblivion Walker.

Yeah i felt really bad for eating that guy in Namira's but I got rid of the ring right after. Although I do feel pretty bad for killing that priest in the Mace of Molag Bal one.

WHY THE HELL IS HE STILL ALIVE

Because anyone who tries or says otherwise has to deal with a power more feared than the Dark Brotherhood: me :D

Ain't no power  strong enough to overcome   the Heimskr Skillshot!

That champ's speech is meaningless since I just sacrificed a friend to get that far.

The champ made the mistake of being between my Khajiit and more power, also she didn't really count Namira's quest as cannibalism since she isn't human or mer

Think I'm going to finally get Dragonborn! Got a $15 credit at Green Man Gaming when I preordered Bioshock Infinite plus they have a 20% off coupon so I can get Dragonborn for just $1. Pretty good deal, I think.

Might just double check and see if there aren't any other games I could get on the cheap before pulling the trigger.

^ I bought MS points for one of my friends for her birthday, with the sole purpose of her buying Dragonborn with them. Yeah, I'm thinking she pocketed the money, because she never did play it. Posted Image

My advice to anyone buying Dragonborn - don't rush through the MQ. It is relatively short. I had a much better experience by doing other stuff in Solstheim first, then when I felt like I had most sidequests done, and most of the map uncovered, I started the MQ. For me, and the characters I've played, it just seemed more organic that way.

^ Agreed, this DLC is to be explored; not rushed by the quests. Whether or not one utilizes compass indicators and icons, I heartily recommend taking the time to see what is next on the isle rather than skipping from site to site to solve some task. A possible exception is filling the need to gain a base of operation as a priority; very pleasant rewards involved there.

There are many hidden treasures in Dragonborn that are worth seeking out, that's for sure. Lots of surprises, and lots of loot. You will leave that place rich.

I look forward to getting back to it with my Dunmer, but other game developers are doing a fantastic job of keeping me preoccupied atm.

The critically acclaimed Bioshock Infinite.

^ Prince speaks the truth. If you haven't tried BioShock Infinite, you need to. It's flipping amazing. The visuals alone...WOW.

...and now back to our regularly-scheduled programming.

I saw the advertisements and...I don't get it. I'm not saying I won;t like it, I'm saying i just don;t understand what type of game is it. is it an RPG? Is it an action game? Do I save the world(s)? Do I try an accomplish a specific objective? Really the only thing I gathered from the commercial is that the protagonist has a telescope and would probably win all the Olympic jumping sports.

How do I explain it... hmm, this might help. It's a first person shooter, but it's not like any fps you've ever played. The most similar game I can think of would probably be Borderlands.

The environment in this one is the polar opposite of the previous two BioShock games, in that it's out in the open, and bright. Columbia is a floating, open-air city, which makes traversing it rather interesting.

Some of the 'powers' you can use remind me of both: biotics from ME and shouts from Skyrim. And some of Maya's siren skills in B2.

Finally met two more daedric lords last night; having fun doing side quests. Wielding dual pickaxes lets me mine two to three times as fast, even if someone else is using the node. Also looks funny in first-person view. Plan to start TG quests though I hated the Ratway last time I was in there.
