She is down right nasty to Madesi if they ever talk.

So I stole most of her stuff...try getting enough money to leave Skyrim now!

I think my Dragonborn spend all of their time running, killing, and posing.  Well, and building. Hearthfire houses take a while.

The people in Solstheim are nicer than those in Skyrim.

Especially in Raven Rock.

I found it nice that people thank you for saving their city.
That is something annoying about some NPCs in games.

"Gee thanks for saving my city from the big bad, and saving our water source we needed for crops, and keeping that road we need opened for trade, and for getting rid of that cult! But get the hell out o my store if you aint gonna buy something!"

Hah, so true. I was enjoying the view from High Hrothgar and thought I'd shout toward Whiterun, but forgot I had Whirlwind Sprint selected. Away and down I went.

I believe Grelka says it when everyone is getting drinks after work (as they all seem to eat and drink at the Bunkhouse towards the end of the day). From what I've read, she calls Madesi "green skin" and she makes fun of the fact that he can't shut his mouth when he chews. I hear he writes you a 'thank you' letter for killing her.

There's a lot more racist stuff in Riften than Windhelm, only nobody knows about it because apparently they don't stand around in Haelga's in the evening. But that's just Tamriel for you.

There's a LOT less segregation in Riften though, so I don't know if you can really compare the two cities. Riften doesn't have a "grey quarter", for example. Instead, its dark elves, Nords, and Argonians live, work eat and sleep in the same buildings/areas.

That's because the racist Nords in Windhelm invited non-Nords to live there. Maybe if they stuck true to their alleged "Skyrim is for the Nords" motto like all the cities that support the Empire (If Solitude is cosmopolitan, I'm the Queen of England, compare the Warrens in MArkarth to the Grey Quarter, the one non-Nord in Morthal they want to run out of town, etc), then there wouldn't be a race problem in Windhlem.

There's also Vulwulf and Hemming Black-Briar insulting Talen-Jei, one calling him a stupid lizard and the other telling him that his kind are only fit to be slaves, at least that Argonian threatens Hemming though.
