I've got a Skyrim problem. Its kinda putting me off other games. I've Deus Ex pre-ordered for Friday but I'm not really in the mood for it at all because its not Skyrim. Its like I'm so excited about Skyrim its casting a shadow over all other games between now and November.
Anyone else have this problem?

I feel the same.
I'm somewhat interested in Deus Ex, but I'm planning to wait until it goes on sale.
In any case, I think Morrowind and Oblivion will keep me quite busy until November

Say, we're in the DB and a member of some court is also a secret member of the DB. It might be nice to get some acknowledgement or at least a sly reference. In the same way, I hope there are members out there who aren't involved in the main quests or the like. Just for them to be getting on with their daily lives but also harbour a dark secret or some such.

Will have to admit that Deus Ex don't really interested me. Didn't even order it. But I will agree with you in regards to Morrowind and Oblivion as Oblivion I'm just getting into and Morrowind I've yet to install. So I've got plenty to keep me occupied unitl Nov.

I am. I'm playing Fallout 3 for the first time, though. Didn't like it my first go round with it...starting to get into it. Hoping that it will keep me entertained for a while.

So, I'm playing Oblivion and joined the Dark Brotherhood. I'm loving every little bit of it, it's all so amazingI know it (or something like it) will be in Skyrim, but do we have any details?
Is this your first time playing Oblivion? Ever play a TES game before at all? Just curious...its always nice having new players to the series if it is the case
Good news, too...the Dark Brotherhood has been confirmed for Skyrim. Expect the plot of the faction to even possibly have an impact on the Main Quest.

Sympathy4saren If what you're saying about the DB in Skyrim than I just might play A Dunmer Assasin. if the leveling up is the same as it is with Oblivion than considering my major traits to be Marksman; Light Armor; sneak; security and possibly blade dual wielded.

"Physic Guards?: Once you commit a crime, guards will know if you're spotted. If you commit a crime, and kill all witnesses, you will be told you have no bounty, because no one knows. "
And that will keep people busy if true.
"6~7 times the amount of quests of Fallout 3"
Also no Arena, booo.

Levelling up in Skyrim is going to be very, very different than Oblivion. Skyrim, in general, is going to be a lot different than Oblivion.
In Skyrim, you are not going to pick a class, nor are you going to pick any major skills starting the game. There are no classes.
The way levelling is going to work is that when its time to level up, you go to, literally, skill constellations and pick which set of skills you want to improve. This will give you your standard statistical increases. But along with that, each time you level (up to level 50), you will be able to pick a perk which enables you to gain neat bonuses and skills to hone in on enriching what playstyle elements you like. You can focus in and be a strict class, or you can be a jack of all trades...or anything in between. It's up to you and your personal choice and allows ultimate playing freedom, to play the way you will most enjoy and not be restricted in what you can do.
It sounds like you desire to be what would probably be considered for the most part a Rogue/Warrior hybrid. Interesting playstyle. You will have skills increase by using them, still...as an extensive laddering aspect to a skill level...but the rest is up to you!! I think its pretty gosh darn nifty.
