I'm a little sad to admit that I haven't played Skyrim in some time, and now that there will be no hope of new DLC, !
Same here, the news that there won't anymore DLC has made me shift my attention to New Vegas, I'll probably play Skyrim again later but everything would have been so much better if they had released one final DLC.

This time, I'm playing an Orc "Uruk Hai" type of character.

And this:

And each game, I make it a point to collect something. It becomes a little game in-itself and keeps me motivated when otherwise i might feel the itch to try a new character (tip for Happy Daiz!). The game practically begs you to take stuff, so to not take advantage of something you just can't do in say Dragon Age seems like a waste.
And anyway, what's a Nord without her mead?

I'm glad you guys like them, and I'm glad they make you happy. Truly!
Oh Joy, I almost missed your shout-out! Hehe. My compulsion to create characters happens in every game where you can have a custom look. I just can't help myself. Some kind of ADD, I suppose?

^ I am an xbox peasant, and I honestly don't care about mods. Like at all. I still haven't seen any that pique my interest, with the exception of one Addai mentioned quite some time ago, that added trees to the environment. That I would like. Moar trees! Otherwise, I'm stubborn and content, and simply don't care. Hehe.

Well, I'm also a console player(of course you would know that), but hey, sometimes...

I would have liked to have been able to add some of Malukah's covers for the bard songs. Ok, that makes two.

Agreed. Very much agreed on Malukah.

And as a rule, I prefer mods that enhance the Vanilla game experience; not change it. Mods like Climates of Tamriel, WATER, Lush Trees, etc are my favorites. And with a single exception, it was 700+ hrs before adding mods as standard.
Still, I will say the the newest versions of SkyUI and SKSE have been delightful in allowing more creativity to occur. The MCM menus are so much better than other mod alteration toggles, the Already Read icons appearing on books, and the large font helps with my RL restrictions. They should really consider advertising the latter perk a bit more; was only a single review that mentioned this, as far as I know.

It's all about personal preference, and I get that, and clearly I prefer au naturale.

So you'd download nude mods then.
Alright, whatever floats your boat.

For the record, no, I wouldn't.
Besides, I get to see something pretty close to nudity every time a courier runs up to me in-game. Heh.

It would be nice if they would admit it at least.

Do a straight PT with a single character being the hero each time.
Maybe play an Altmer who keeps losing his memories and always ends up being the main character.
Perhaps a more Heroic Version of Vandal Savage or something.
That is actually kind of scary come to think of it
Someone who is hundreds of years old, who has killed untold thousands, who has all the benefits of Corpus disease, Is the MADGOD, and Dragonborn.
Then promptly forgets and moves on.
Might be fun.
Or might need some work. Who knows!

We all know they cut DLC so that there would be nothing competing with TESO.
It would be nice if they would admit it at least.
Not just TESO, wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft and Fallout 4 were involved as well. They'll never admit it though because its bad press, just like other developers that refuse to admit their mistakes and then rely on cheap excuses to get away with it. I don't like TESO and I don't know how good or bad it will be but I'm not convinced that it isn't just another WoW clone, and it also seems like Imperials won't be playable, which I find utterly stupid.

I'm somewhat bummed about the sudden ending of support as well. Then again, quality and quantity of modding community pretty much ensures one doesn't exactly run out of Skyrim stuff anytime soon.

But although Skyrim's time is gone, I shall not mourn this news for long
For there are other games to play, and I shall play Skyrim again someday
But until that day, no Skyrim for me, these are the words of...
...the Grand Oak Tree.
