Viarmo the headmaster and that dude who owns the stable near Windhelm are fairly nice.
Though if anything its the kids who are annoying! I mean honestly!
"COME TO LICK MY FATHERS BOOTS AND NOT LOOK TOUGH SO I CAN FIGHT YOU!"
I downloaded the killable kids mod and left them in front of a giant with the freaking console.
Enjoy being the first brats in space!
Sorry.

And he's such a nice guy.
I thought for the longest time that he had the hots for my Dragonborn.

The An-Xileel are the ruling faction in Black Marsh since just after the Oblivion crisis. During the OC the Hist brought Argonians back to Black Marsh to fight the Oblivion gates that opened there, and the An-Xileel took over afterward. They kicked the empire out and eventually made a purge (using the floating city Umbriel) not only of leftover non-Argonians, but also of Argonians who were considered too imperialized.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...
What is meant by virulent anti-imperial faction? Does it have something to do with the Hist?
As for who's worse, Dunmer or Altmer: I love Dunmer, but the Altmer never enslaved anybody until now. Well, goblins, but I'm not sure that counts.

Who says they are? The Grey Quarter was probably created as a sovereign enclave like the colony on Solstheim, under the Decree of Monument. So the Dunmer there didn't integrate as well as in other cities, and eventually the "live and let live" turned into mutual disdain and cries of oppression.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...
How come High Elves get discriminated less in Windhelm then Dark Elves? One would think Nords would think Nords would dislike the Altmer more than the Dunmer.

I don't know, maybe the Dunmer complain more then?

Any tips on how to level my Orc's block skill so that its consistent with lore. He is an older Orc, so maybe he bashes more often than actually defends..?

I really like her birds.
Unfortunately the random hostility bug seems to have spread. Now my Khajiti was suddenly attacked. Yes, she's a criminal, and a vampire, but she has no bounty on her head and she is only in... the third stage of vampirism, I believe. And Dawnguard removed the hostility for stage 4 vampires anyway, so that shouldn't be it. Annoying.

A shield with an Orc is waste. They are designed for offensive combat, so either use dual-wield or a two-handed weapon.

If you're a Stormcloak, find yourself an Imperial camp, kill all the lower levels off and then fight with the chief of the camp. He's unkillable, so he's pretty much the perfect sparring partner. Bash him to your heart's content, and he'll continue to get right back up. Don't bring a companion though, they will siphon off the XP available to you.
Of course, if you're an Imperial, you can do the same to Stormcloak camps as well...I just don't know why anyone would ever want to be an Imperial.

Well with a block skill of 100, you can unlock Shield Charge. It'd be difficult to get much more offensive than that. And at level 50 with a filled Block tree, you are pretty much outright killing everything but boss level creatures with a Shield Bash. But, eh, to each his own.
EDIT: Oh, Fountain Guard Amor mod. I approve.

@ Splinter Cell: Complaining is a Dunmer national pastime.
