But getting mods for a game they hate doesn't make sense either. Why bother with it?

I don't know, logic and Lazengan don't go together.

Basically what you're saying is Skyrim is the game equivalent to Tommy Wiseau's The Room.

Well, what a funny story Mark

Why does that not surprise me? That's your only defense, anyone who calls out the fundamental flaws in your reasons to complain here is a fanboy. Maybe you should stop ignoring the issue everyone has pointed out, and say something else aside "the fanboys are out to get me because I don't like their game" That is all you can say, that is all you've been saying every time you come here with your nonsense.

I understand that but still, I'm getting tired of him coming here every once in a while just to spout his bull****, its upsetting and personally I'm sick of it, this **** should have been banned a long time ago for disturbing the peace.

I mean, seriously what in the hell has to be wrong with someone to keep coming to the same place for more than two years to say the exact same thing over and over and over again.

Can we all just agree that Lazengan doesn't like Skyrim for its combat or spells but for his sexy waifus and that absolutely no one should give a **** about him liking it for the mods and he shouldn't care if any of us like it for the variety of combat options.

you don't just do X for ****s and giggles, a good game forces you to make ambigious descisions because there is a reason to do something. Throwing fireballs in Skyrim is a non-choice because there is no other good reason to do otherwise other than "Oh I just won't throw fireballs because I just want to play a warrior and I don't FEEL LIKE THROWING FIREBALLS". Why would you do this? You perform poorer in combat. The most common excuse I hear is "Hurr because it's fun" which just gives me a headache. Mindless fun for the sake of mindless fun is not the point of games. Fun comes from good gameplay, and the experience, it's not the product

Telling other people what is or is not the point of video games is an exercise in futility, and akin to trolling since in my eyes, it's only stated to get a rise out of people.

If you're not a fan of Skyrim (which, for example, I also am not) that's fine. If you wish to be antagonistic towards people because they do enjoy it, and seek to get different things out of playing video games than you do, then that's being less awesome and much more "garrr Allan is getting pissy" which is a state I don't like to be in.

Disagree with others is fine. To everyone, respect each other's disagreement, and when things get heated, agree to disagree.

Destruction is very much redundant with Archery. Pick one or the other. My vote goes to Archery. It's way more powerfull (sic!) and actually more enjoyable.

Sneak works very well with archery. But if you don't want that, Conjuration and henchmen are your friends, like you just discovered.

Has anyone played around with any FUN Wizard spell mods? Recon my next playthrough is in some severly re.-tweaked Skyrim where I'm way more vunlerable but my spells are sick/fun.

...Not fun as in " Fireball now does 55 dmg instead of 25" but rather, fun as in "Worldbreak throws your enemy 200 feet above ground, then makes galaxy explode"

Apocalypse Spell Package

I don't know if you'll find something in there that you like but it brings a lot of new spells, which have a variety of effects.

I also like Apocalypse.  i was worried at first it would be too game changing and unbalanced but the modder did a good job so neither are the case.

Agree that archery and destruction are largely redundant.

I'm not even antagonistic to people who enjoy Skyrim

I am antagonistic to people who don't understand basic game design yet claim so much

If you care about gameplay, don't download this

it just adds broken spells that offer no gameplay and break your game with overpowered magic

I want to talk to the few people here that care about gameplay

K so we just mindlessly praise everything

Where would any product be if the developpers were so full of themselves and thought that it was perfect? We wouldn't get proper updates and good sequels or future products

I thought that Bethesda would learn from New Vegas and apply the lessons to Skyrim
