1295 pages here, yet according to the Dragon Age: Inquisition forum, Skyrim is the terribad for casuals.

I demand the ability to get drunk
no, not just drunk, and not part of the Sanguine Quest
HAMMERED!
I want to get playable drunk in the next Elder Scrolls game!
Also spells to change the color of armor!

There's a mod for getting drunk, nothing about armor. Then again this is only for PC thanks to Microsoft and Sony.

An update for the Argonian, Masturbates Furiously: He confirmed to Kodak that he is capable of handling himself.

Man... that is really a shame about the Carved Nordic Armor. The devs ruined the novelty of it by giving all bandits a free set huh? Stupid... just pushed me back to the " I guess I don't want the Dragonborn DLC after all..." side

(I am on the fence about it... hearthfire is ridiculous)

Hearthfire is awesome

Edit: as for the  Nordic carved armor, it's not "all bandits".  It's bandit Chiefs, and only  after you've gotten to level 30 or some such.  Personally, I don't think the nordic carved armor is all that good looking anyway.  It's  super bulky in game....  worse than Dwarven.

I think it looks pretty awsesome, actually. And its definately nowhere near as bulky as Dwarven.

Kinda wish there were a way to alter the materials while selecting an appearance, like choosing the Orcish helm while upgrading to Ebony. I might actually use Daedric and Dragonbone more frequently in the game that way.

@Yrkoon: you really think Hearthfire is worth it? I will likely get Dragonborn.. eventually. The quests I am pretty ignorant about, but the gear all seems pretty cool.

Which add-on do you like better? DG or DB??

Has anyone here actually preferred Dragonborn over Dawnguard? I've found that any time I see people compare the two they prefer Dawnguard, as do I.

I ask only because I have DG and I cannot decide if Dragonborn is worth the trouble...

I'd say its worth it. Who knows, you may like it more than DG.

I think Dawnguard offered a tighter questline and better integrated itself with the main game. Nevertheless I don't find Dragonborn lacking. The main quest could have been done better, Miraak better explained, etc., but there is a *lot* of content on Solstheim and some of dungeons are quite well done. Dragonborn also added stuff needed in the main game: frenzy rune, ash shell, and staff enchanter give mages much needed options/diversity, I like that you can craft light armor despite going on the heavy side of the smithing tree (and vice versa), and some of the sacred stones/black book powers are what the standing stones should have been.

What is this "ash shell" you speak of??

^ If you rush through the Dragonborn MQ, it will likely feel pretty hollow. It feels more worthwhile if you take your time to smell the ash guardians. Get out and explore the island!

The new spells and Black Book perks are super nice, and Apocrypha is definitely something to see.

And the Nordic Carved Armor, as mentioned, is one of the best-looking ones of the game. The Stahlrim stuff, though, not so much, imho.

Yes, here is the list of them. Image IPB

There are also new shouts! And for some reason, that needed an exclamation point.

An alteration spell that freezes an enemy but renders them immune to damage.  The freeze lasts for an absurdly long time allowing for restealth, shout cooldown reset or ignoring the enemy alltogether.  It's not as high level as paralyze spell.

Yes it's worth it imo.  While most prefer DG, they still played the crap outta DB.

There are lots of good things about Dragonborn, and there are worse things to spend your money on, for sure. One of my favorite things, even aside from the Dremora Butler/Merchant, is one of the new followers, Teldryn Sero. I just love that guy. Grumpy Dunmer are awesome.

Oh, and Neloth. Just talking to him is nearly worth the price of admission.

Bulky you say?

Nords waited until the last DLC to make cold weather armor.

Yeah it lasts too long...still a great concept that was missing in vanilla.  I forgot about the duration since I modded the spell's duration.

So... it makes the enemy temporarily "ethereal"?? Cool...
