Looks like the rainbow, shooting stars, and other mods I recently installed where interfering with weather, and preventing me from loading saves made in the great outdoors. Got rid of the mods and I'm back in business. Also it seems the FX Injector DLL is responsible for the slideshow framerates after going through X number of doors. I disabled it to use the performance monitor and had no such issue.

With uGrids 7 and my usual 48 mods installed I barely exceeded 2gb of system memory used while running around in the outdoors, in dungeons, and going in and out of buildings in Whiterun. So it's not the 3.1gb limit that was my problem, but those new mods and FXInjector.

Huge skyrim mod. It's basically a DLC.

That's what I like to see, this mod is his job application.

So... other than giving you (Temporarily) a cool-looking pair of gloves, is the mystic tuning glove quest pointless...?

Wow.  This one looks good.

Well, except for this, from the readme:

"I'm going to wait until the bugs have been patched."

With all due respect, prospective downloader, you are crazy! Falskaar was rigorously tested nonstop by a very dedicated quality assurance team for the entire duration of its development. This means that there are very few bugs, if any, that you will encounter. (This does not include mod compatibility issues, for which I can only test so much) Every quest was tested and ensured to function, every script should go off without a hitch, and your experience should not be marred by broken or buggy content. Granted this engine isn't exactly perfect, but this mod should provide a very polished experience, and expecting there to be bugs and waiting for them to be patched, in the case, is foolish! So get downloading, and get to adventuring!

Does this  strike anyone else as a bit too pretentious, presumptious, arrrogant and ameuturish?

Is this guy new to modding?  Of course people are going to wait for feedback and fixes.    And this guy....  I'm sure he's super confident that this DLC of his is relatively bug free and fully polished, which is why it's going to be interesting to see how his  confidence   holds up as he gets  buried in Bug reports in about a week's time.  Even beyond  the mod incompatability issues.  (which, btw, count as bugs,  affect  the polished feel,  and contribute to broken  content)

^ Think it is more of a ploy to gain some fast downloads and quicker endorsements. Some do not pay much attention to those mods that do not make the Top Lists, and quest mods have it somewhat more difficult, as I understand. While I agree with your observation, I am attempting to give this a benefit of a doubt.

 Falskaar Gameplay Trailer

I'll pass though this is the type of thing I want to see people doing until TES VI is released.

He says it put over 4000 hours into it, and had people testing it all the while, so he's probably just a bit touchy.  Mod compatibility is exactly the reason people wait for problems to surface.  Anyway it looks fantastic. I'll check it out someday when I replay TESV.

Gophervids is considering placing it in the Let's Play Skyrim Again series. I am going to be 'foolish', and wait a bit to see if any bugs or compatibility issues arise with other Players.

I'll wait until I create a new character for a new game session before I give this consideration. Looks from the comments like people are gradually discovering which mods are incompatible; seems to not like certain AI mods.

I downloaded it but I'll wait before I install it. I'm already hearing things about it not being compatible with some mods.

I'm a little ways into it...and I will be honest. I forgot that I was playing a mod.

Here's to hoping this is the standards for mods in the future.

Not really; discovered a couple of firsts in the Vanilla game today. My first Dragon attack inside the walls of Riftin, and after rescuing a Dawnguard courier, he drops his armor, leaves his orders behind, and goes AWOL. Both events were quite pleasing!

Meh at least not the DLC type mod.  Most aren't even playing it.

Just finishing up a Crimson King

Soon to start an Archfiend (my first Altmer ever).

I just get kinda bummed when I have a legit question about the vanilla 360 version and everyone completely ignores me to discuss mods... *pouts*

A few soul gems on a regular basis and keep the gloves if you want to powerlevel magic.

How? By using the temporary super -mana regeneration effect?

I didn't know dragon attacks inside Riften were possible

Yep, if you don't want to wait 1 hour for mana to regen whenever you're depleted.

Torches aren't lit if you get them out of a chest, that's just the 3D image of the object. People find the dumbest things to complain about.

I hope people don't whine about that. I mean this is something irrelevant, whether its in a chest underwater or not. People can't really expect the developers to fix little "problems" like those, otherwise it'd be impossible to ever release any game.
