Wow, 12 Orcs? That's awesome! I've thought about making more, but I can never come up with unique enough names that I like, and that I can remember. Do you play yours as vampires or werewolves?
@Elhanan, I love Bretons too. It's always a bit of a trick to not make them look like hags with the forehead wrinkles, but the magic resistance is nice.
Do you guys ever make female characters, or do you stick to males?

The only 2 that survived deletion are my Imperial

and Bosmer

1 Nord
1 Orc
1 Bosmer
2 Altmer
2 Dunmer
2 Khajiit
1 Imperial
2 Bretons
0 Argonians
Most are female. I only have a male Altmer and a male Imperial, but the imperial dude is only level 1 or 2. The Altmer is not that much higher, haha. Oh, I remembered that my Bosmer is male as well, but that is another low-level character I have barely played.

3 Nords.
@happy, the only female character I've ever played is Fem Shep...well, and the various assortment of stupendously overpowered fem characters in ME3 MP...but I do have two teenage daughters who play Skryim and only play female characters, both of whom have a knack for making pretty Bosmer and Altmer...
....sooooooo, the character creator wasn't totally wasted in our household.

BTW, we were talking about conjuring Dremora Lords a couple of pages back. I can confirm that Atromancy does double their duration. Yay! I just finally bought the spell yesterday. My Sneak is maxed, as is Lockpicking, but I'm only at 74 for Conjuration. *sigh* Working on it.
Nice to see you all back in here.
@Barbarossa - 3 Nords? You sound like greengoron.
Also, all of mine are female. My one male is a Breton. I was trying to make him look like Cutlass Jack, and failed miserably.

Remember the Demon Hunter build? TZ finally made a gameplay vid of it. Not one of his better works.

Mostly Nords. I'm pretty sure they are supposed to be canon DBs. Plus Nords kick ass.
Some Altmer. I'm one of those people who always roll elves.
Some Bretons. At first I liked the resistance bonus. Now I liked the whole Men-Mer heritage.
One Imperial.
One Dunmer. I lack the artistic talent to make this race look good.
0 Argonians. I can't play a race with a tail.
0 Khajiit. Ditto.
0 Orcs. Generally I'm not a heavy-armor person so I don't think I can do them justice.
0 Bosmer. Nature worshipping/themed characters never appealed to me.

Where in the Skyrim directory are you guys able to quickly see what characters you played? I can only guess, but I'd say I've rolled:

But I'm playing on 360, so I assume it's probably easier on pc to find that stuff (?).
Does the swaying tail creep you out?

Maybe it was just my experience, but I could have sworn that every enemy saw me whether I was in sneak or not, and it was kind of frustrating. I eventually just threw a Dremora Lord in each room before I entered it.
Do you use invisibility as well? I maxed out sneak and use invisibility, and I'm able to stay under their radar when I'm not blasting them with Incinerate, or having my Dremora Lords mock them for their weakness. I'm likely not going to use it once Teldryn and my Riekling amigo join my aspiring Telvanni.

I bet you could work for Neloth as soon as you meet him? Not sure, but it's worth trying. P.S. I love Teldryn Sero.
I finally made it to Solstheim last night, and so far, it seems only the main quest is closed off - I was able to help the people in Raven Rock so far, and I've finally met Neloth. Looks like you were right. I forgot how much I missed his Telvanni-ness. I'll be hiring Teldryn for the return trip to Skyrim, to nab a Forsworn Briarheart.

Normally I'd cast Muffle, and would take perks to make movement silent, and they'd still see me. I think I might have a better shot this time around, as my Sneak is maxed, and I can more or less just walk right in front of a Draugr, and it takes them a moment to notice me, if they do at all. The biggest thing is hanging back, and not letting my follower see them.LobselVith8 wrote...

I finally got to Solstheim over the weekend, too. I finished up the Dawnguard questline (I still love the Forgotten Vale), and ditched Serana. Good riddance. I have a love/hate thing going on with her. She got more crossbow bolts to the back of the head than I care to recount.
You know, I feel kind of silly. I'd picked up the paragon gems in earlier runs, but never tried them out. So this time around, I got Auriel's Shield for the first time. I didn't even know it existed. /facepalm
Anyway, after all that, I ran back to Raven Rock and picked up Teldryn.

I'm curious how you're classifying your characters, though. Fearmonger? Hydra? What does that entail?

Ok, I don't feel so bad for having so many characters. ;-) I must say, I'm thankful for the face-changer in Riften, for sure! My first character was a Breton, and she was very much like someone you'd see hanging out with Hagravens. Not anymore.

I roll up an Orc whenever I wish do do a pure (or near pure) warrior run. Consequently, my stable of Dovakiins is populated with a dozen Orcs. I suppose Nords can fill this role, but they don't have the Berserker rage ability to help them against that level scaling spike that occurs in the mid teens in this game.Joy Divison wrote...

With an Orc Warrior you can hold off on smithing till later and still plow through the bandits with ease.

Funny, I always associate the Chitin armor with him.

Do not see them either currently. Perhaps they are going to update soon, and hopefully return.
