Lol...same here, but what a neat enemy. I'm sure they will be much more vicious and fearsome this time around. Concept art looked really good. I did the same you did in Oblivion...I saw a vampire and freaked it and bashed it. I like how Bethesda makes their disease system prominent. Remember...get a disease and you have it...no getting rid of it. That'd be something....Level 4 and wham....you're a vampire.

Um, yes. A game that is due out in three months is stealing ideas from a game that is due out next March. At this juncture of the development cycle, they're still retooling big features? LOGIC.
I guess a bored troll who has too much time on their hands has got to have his fun though, right?
hey look eski.moe. i will say again.
todd howard steals ideas again. me3 confirmed gay sex, now skyrim
confirms. me3 was supposed to revolutionize gaming with gay sex scenes,
now todd howard blatanty steals its revolution. stynes will stand in

MS "bribed" Bethesda again to have first dibs on future DLC releases. As a PC gamer I don't really care because of modding but PS3 players are left behind again. Oh well.

I sought out vampires to contract the disease the first couple of times I played Oblivion, even designed a custom class with vampirism in mind (Dark Elves get fire resistance boost, which helps, for example).
However, eventually it got to be a bit tiresome never being able to walk around in the daylight (you can feed to reduce your vampirism, but that made your powers weaker, which seemed to defeat the purpose of becoming a vampire, so I generally stayed at "full vampire").

Sympathy4saren- I've got a feeling that Skyrim might have raised the bar to high for other companies to match them this time. From what all I've seen and heard about the game were in for allot of fun. Glad to see that were even going to have dragons this time around. Now are the daragon speak: I think thats what they called them. are they permanent or temp? Or do we know yet?
I haven't personally heard word, exactly, if Dragon Shouts are permanent, but I think it is heavily inferred that they are. They are tiered in levels, too, so if you unlock a Shout you learn I believe one syllable and can learn two other syllables to strengthen the overall potency of that particular Shout power... two syllables increasing the power of the Shout and all three maximizing the power of the Shout. I can't fathom a scenario where they would be eliminated once unlocked and learned.
I heard, too, that dragons will talk to us at times, sometimes in their language and sometimes in English.

Now Skyrim is going to be so sweet. I'm definatly looking forward to playing it when it comes out. From what you say about the shouts sounds to me like they might be permanent.

Not syllables, words. A Shout is made of three words, but we saw exemples of Shouts with two words, so I suppose that the more words a Shout have, more powerful it will be.

This, and it saves time and money.
I mean, think about it. BioWare spends a *massive* budget on trailers and videos, and by the time the game gets here, we've basically seen all of the big set pieces.

I fully agree I myself don't mind the trailers and sure but I don't want to be given the whole game vial them. Which BW is very good for doing. Of course DA 2 didn't hold my attention very long or allot of folks for that matter.

Regardless, the way im eating up info Im glad they arnt going overboard on it all. Im sure there will be a big marketing push prior to release, but with a big adventure game like Skyrim I want to discover virtually all of it myself.

Indeed. everyone does it. Look at ME3 using the same Demo now since E3. However there is still 7 months till release not 3 like Skyrim.

I couldn't agree with you more. Of course thats the way for which I am wtih most RPGs that I play. I'm really enjoying Oblivion right now as it's the first oif the Elderscrolls for which I've played. Debating on whether or not to strat over or continue with the one for which I'm currently playing. Decisions, decisions.<LOL>
