No "bow chicka wow-wow" animations

Somebody will "fix" this on the PC. :D

Pickpocketing perks:
Light Fingers (0/5)
Pickpocketing bonus of 20% – Item weight and value reduce pickpocketing odds…
Night Thief
Pickpocketing sleeping people almost always works…
Poisoned
Place poisons in other people’s pockets silently to harm or kill…
Cutpurse
Pickpocketing gold is 50% easier…
Extra Pockets
Carrying capacity is increased by 100…
Keymaster
Pickpocketing keys always works…
Misdirections
You can pickpocket equipped weapons…
Perfect Touch
You can pickpocket equipped items…

Now I'm thinking my first will HAVE to be a thief with the primary goal of taking every equipped item that looks cool.

I hope locks are skill based in Skyrim. Oblivion is way too easy. You don't even really need the skeleton key.  Leave thieving to us thieves. :D

Locks are reported as being almost identical to the lockpicking mini-game in FO3.

I have some difficulty imagining what the 12-20 different perks for lockpicking could possibly be. Perhaps it relates to traps as well?

That sure sounds like a lot of perks if you ask me especially for one skill.

Leaked footage. Kind of funny

EDIT: Some more leaked footage. I've noticed the argonian hands too. They actually look like lizard hands (With thumbs) instead of human hands painted red :D

Does anyone think we’ll have avatar items for Skyrim on the 360 and when do you think they‘ll appear? I know there isn’t any for Oblivion.

If there is a "Fire-hand" or "Dovakiin shout" prop, I'd definitely get it :)

I had previously heard close to 85 spells, but now its closer to 100? That is great news. I'm also ecstatic that you will be able to eventually Conjur two creatures at the same time. I truly hope they are much more potent and effective when summoned. I'm ok with a major cost to magicka for it, as well.

Thanks, like always, for the great info, Naughty.

Every skill gets between 12-20 perks, and the total number of perks for all 18 skills is 280.

But that can't be right unless my maths needs improvement?
Also does anyone know what the 18 skills are?

Edit - I messed it up and confused myself, I'll come back when I've had coffee.

A video with bits of the CC is on youtube... also, some nice seconds of a Argonian and his/her tail. I'm not sure if I can post it here, but just search for 'Skyrim Character Creation' on youtube. It's something like the 9th video in the list.

Well now I"ll say one thing the more that I hear about Skyrim the more for which I like. Especially the fact of being able to play the game the way you want to. I mean there are so many different ways for whch you can play your character through the game dual weapon, weapon shield, single weapon, weapon in one hand spell in the other. Skyrim is going to be one very hard game for any company to beat. Bethesda must have given them one heck of a budget and allot of time.<LOL>

You forgot that it's possible to dual wield spells.

I'm starting to think that maybe I won't be able to play Skyrim on my PC :| I would be satisfied with playing on medium, though... I suppose I'll have to wait and see, who knows.

I wonder if there'll be any reference to the Shivering Isles in Skyrim, especially considering that our character in Oblivion can be (SPOILER)the Prince/Princess of Madness, Duke/Duchess of Dementia/Mania(SPOILER)

I really love the titles of Oblivion, btw.

edit: trying to find a colour that will make the spoiler less visible... <_<

...ahm, the colors broke my post. fixed.

Well now talk about one heck of an operating budget if I do say so mystelf. No wonder the Elder Scrolls literally put other similar games to shame.<G> And I bet that they make that back and more to be honest with you there.

Dhiro- Your right I did forgot that you could dual spells as well. Of course never been much of a spell user myself. I do use them from time to time mainly the restoration spells for healling and cure disease. The dual weapon idea now that there I like.<LOL>

Umm, sorry, but I cannot agree with that So far none of the ES games were very good IMVHO. And Oblivion in particular was a huge step backwards compared with Morrowind. If we're talking about sandbox-style adventuring, for example the Gothic series was much better - in my opinion.

Skyrim... well it does look promising, but I'll reserve judgement for when I have actually played it.

Although he was doing absolutely nothing really in the second vid I still enjoyed it. I loved how the grass and the environment catches fire
