I wonder what happened for Yokuda to sink and Atmora to become a frozen wasteland. Pyandonea is the home of the Sea Elves or Maormer right? Is that what they're called?

If the next game takes place in the Summerset Isle, I wonder if we'll hear about them, since they had problems with the Altmer, it'd also be interesting to have to deal with the Sload a historical problem for the Summerset Isle and Hammerfell as well.

I don't think it will ever be explained what happened to Yokunda and Atmora, similar to the fate of Winterhold. If the next game is set in Alinor, I wonder what options the protagonist might have - working with or against the Thalmor, I imagine.

As for Pyandonea, you're correct; it's the home of the Maormer (also known as the Sea Elves).

Another topic I thought I'd bring up: With Dragonborn installed, I noticed how Ash Shell seems to have the game consider the NPC it is used on to be dead, in the sense that any bounty on the main character goes away because the witness it is used on is considered 'dead', and it made me wonder if using it on Erandur (when you're given the choice between the Skull of Corruption and sparing Erandur) would have the game assume that he's dead by using Ash Shell on him, even though he's really alive.

The Ansei destroyed Yokuda with their crazy super saiyan sword techniques. But probably only the main island sank.

I actually wouldn't mind the next TES to be set in Hammerfall. Plot could be about fighting off another Thalmor invasion, main character would be an avatar of HoonDing...

That's certainly one of the stories surrounding it's destruction. There seems to be some debate as to whether it also could have been natural causes or some actions caused by the Yokudans that lead to the destruction of Yokuda. Just one of the many mysteries of Mundus...

Track record on Tamriel Nirn indicates there are practically no such thing as "natural causes."

Question about horses. If you own/possess one either from purchase or the Dark Brotherhood questline, and you don't want to bring your horse, is it possible to leave it or store it somewhere safe that when we do want it, we can easily and quickly get it?

Hearthfire homes have stable if I recall correctly. I don't know if that "stores" the horse but I would guess it does. I don't uses horses though, too boring for me.

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26704

Problem is that it adds a bunch of other stuff you may not want.

Uncertain, but having Convenient Horses and AFT may help with the problem. I have not used the latter enough to tell, but have seen CH used in Gopher's vids, and it may offer possible solutions.

AFT allows you to use horses for followers I believe, it sort of like Convenient Horses, minus all the other features and it is probably not as complex as it is with Convenient Horses.

Not much, if you have mods that do exactly what it does only in less buggy fashion. :S

If you don't have mods like consoles, it does have a point. IMO I think Hearthfire does what those mods do better. Its only $5 anyway, not a big loss.

Good luck :? The fellas are a bit rough looking in this game lol I married Vilkas. The only decent looking and sounding guy is unavailable to marry (Brynjolf). It's also probably best to marry someone with plot armor (like Vilkas) so they can't die. Then again, I never take him out into battle. I fight solo :P

A lot of people forget looks and marry someone who actually benefits them in the game.

I liked it, too, and I can't use fan mods like some players here can. I'm constructing Lakeview Manor now, and deciding between adopting Sissel and Lucia; I already took in Sophie, and she seems to love Heljarchen Hall.

I might get the GOTY version after I complete the vanilla version to get the DLC's.

If I do, I think I'll use the hearth-fire dlc to make a library, and fill it with one of every book in the entire game.

I actually did this with the mansion in skingrad, back in cyrodiil, it took forever, because I had to manually position every damn book on the shelves.

At least skyrim has easy-use bookshelves.
Anyone know if the bookshelves on the Xbox version are safe to use?
I'd hate to lose a unique book due to bugs, it's not like I can use console to create a replacement out of thin air like you pc players do.:P

Same here.  Got it for $1.99 from Steam.

In fact, I do so right here in my Desdenova playthrough.  And likewise when she meets Addai's favorite Jarl.

And Utility.

And that  about covers all the bases for  having  player homes in RPGs in the first place.

In the AFT mod, how do you get to the Settings menu? Found it by accident the first time, and cannot recall where it is located. The horses are not fighting back against attackers, and am needing to change their combat AI. Thanks!

Click on your follower, then  ----->Tweak Options-------->Settings ---------->[x] Horses are oblivious (this option is checked by default. Uncheck it.)

Your Horse should now go kamakazi on your  enemies

But for horses, I am only able to Mount/ Dismount; no dialogue appears. How do you access Settings specifically? And thanks for helping!

Get a follower (ie a human or elf). The settings for everything are accessed through dialogue with them.

I'm curious, what is supposed to trigger the appearance of Proventus, Siddgeir, and Elisif at the Thalmor Embassy, when the Dragonborn infiltrates the party?
