Came across a few mods that alter the game for the Player: Timing Is Everything (the Player sets the level at which certain quests are introduced); Quest Eraser (some quests can be deleted from the Journal); Thieves Guild Requirements (Player must have stolen something before TG invitation); and some other various control mods, all by the same author. I only have the first two thus far, but they have really helped redesign my current playthrough.
Some here may wish to check these out....
Interesting. The restriction on getting approached by Brynjolf would've made sense for the vanilla game, since it's a little odd to get approached if you're roleplaying as a warrior or a wizard who hasn't stolen anything.

The author has several interesting mods that seem worthy of adding to load orders. Timing Is eEerything and Quest Eraser are the two that I chose rapidly, as I tired of having invitations for HF properties made at 9th, and some lingering quests that refused to die in my Journal.

No more "Rising At Dawn" whenever you're a vampire and ask an innkeeper about rumors. That was utterly annoying, I mean didn't they think "what if the player doesn't want to cure himself", same with other quests as well, especially The Forsworn Conspiracy and No One Escapes From Cidhna Mine.

I'm surprised no one asked about those mods, kryptopyr makes some very good stuff for roleplaying, namely The Choice Is Yours and Timing Is Everything. The Choice Is Yours basically stops stupid rumors from triggering quests.

Well, some of us are on consoles, but the mods sound interesting; it's easy to see why some play on PCs for people who don't have malevolent PCs right out of OWB. I have "Rising at Dawn" open with my Telvanni, and I agree with you; I wish there was an option to tell Falion that my character doesn't want to relinquish vampirism, since my Telvanni mage accepted Harkon's Gift for a reason. Then again, my character isn't going to relinquish the Skeleton Key to the Twilight Sepulcher, so I've gotten used to the idea that at least two entries will be open on the journal at the end of my character's journey throughout Skyrim.
I'm thinking that Ash Shell will keep Brynjolf immobilized if I can lure him to a closed cell for my upcoming Redoran werewolf warrior, since it worked on keeping the Aspiring Mage in Ivarstead (in Klimmek's house). I don't see a warrior accepting Brynjolf's offer, or even being approached if he doesn't steal.

Morrowind Recreated Using The Skyrim Engine
Yes, I believe they're also making one for Oblivion as well. However, I'd wait until it gets to a more final stage before using it. It is pretty functional as it is but its an extra to all the other mods you may have loaded onto Skyrim, its not a standalone mod as it would seem. I'm guessing it is a bit similar to Tale of Two Wastelands, but instead of merging the CW and New Vegas, this mod allows you to chose between playing Skyrim or playing Morrowind.

Two epic trailers!
Wow that must have taken a lot of hard work. Rendering Morowind in Skyrim.

I just exit out of Brynjolf's conversation lock.
I meant in terms of avoiding the conversation and the journal entry that shows up even if you decline Brynjolf's offer, since I can't delete unnecessary journal entries on PS3, and it's a little OOC for the Redoran character I'm planning to simply ignore it. Some testing on my part showed Ash Shell will leave an NPC immobilized in a cell until the protagonist returns to the cell.
Out of curiousity, how do you guys think a typical Redoran warrior might respond to the sacrifice for Boethia in Skyrim, since it seems to run counter to their warrior ethos and their virtues of duty, gravity, and piety, while Boethia is one of the three 'good' Daedra (of the Reclamations, given the collapse of the Tribunal).

Dawnguard DLC made it a lot easier though.
Looks nice, but it's still WIP, so we'll see. While Falskaar was ambitious and well done for an amateur venture, it was just that, and these things usually are. Voice acting accounts for a lot.

Well now they have Solstheim to work off of so the bonemold and chitin armors shouldn't crash the game as they did with Morroblivion. Sadly this will be the only way I play Morrowind again since I can't get into vanilla.

Use the forge while Brynjolf tries to speak to you. He'll give up and go back to his stall.LobselVith8 wrote...

I was thinking about putting some voice acting out for that actually. They still need some Bretons.
Too bad they don't need anymore Dunmer. I've always been proud of my gravelly dunmer guy impression. :S

That doesn't reflect their ideology. The dwarves are more complicated than "Get away with it." They wanted to become a literal god, which they became. The Heart of Lorkhan wasn't there, but they got the gist of what they wanted.monkeycamoran wrote...

Yeah. We already know what happened to them, which is exactly what they wanted to happen anyway. They became the god they wanted.
No, I don't think being a giant bronze robot that didn't move is what they wanted. They wanted to get away from it all.

If you could play as any race except the 10 playable races (Altmer, Bosmer, Dunmer, Orsimer, Breton, Imperial, Nord,Redguard, Argonian and Khajiit), which race would you be?
It can be any race from Elderscrolls Lore, or a race mod, or your own creation.

Playing as something else would defy all lore, and wouldn't make any sense. I'm puzzled why you would want to?

Akaviri tbh.
If they're not actually all dead, anyway.

Hagraven
One of the Khajiit races. Did you know that the Khajiit variety you see in Skyrim are only one of many?
Dremora.
Obscuri (mod). I love the dark look of the race. Sadly I'm a PS3 player.

Yeah, it's an argumentum ad reductio. But, what I do know about the dwarves, a bunch of alien-minded elves who experimented with uncreation, but to ends higher than the Ehlnofey themselves. An entire tribe of Aldmer whose belief system is built on world-refusals.
I'm not unfamiliar with Kirkbride's lore. Just that I'm not interested in mixing heavy liquor, mescaline, and empathogens just to represent it accurately.
