As such, I often have less health midgame than most.

You're right. No sense arguing about something this subjective. Opinion will always be confused with fact, people cry, others get ice cream, and the world keeps spinning. Kind of like my head when this crap comes up. Which it seems to do on a fairly regular (and strangely consistent) basis.Splinter Cell 108 wrote...
I wouldn't waste my time arguing we all know where this is headed. Another pointless argument about a game that someone doesn't like, no one is going to change their minds about what they like and what they don't.

^ To be completely honest, I haven't actually attempted the Restoration ritual spell yet, myself. I remember reading something in here about it being bugged, and it stuck with me. So alas, I haven't tried it. Once I get back to Skyrim, I'll give it a shot. I don't have many characters that are at that level in Restoration, but I suspect a couple are close.
Its flawed ,lacking in gameplay and story and very unbalanced. Only mods make this game worthy.Barbarossa2010 wrote...

In one ear and out the other...no offense...wait, that's not necessarily true...that would imply I care enough to not offend people who have other preferences about a video game I personally enjoy in a free marketplace, when I usually am bored to tears with the games they prefer. Never mind.
I wish more developers made such poor and lacking games.
Anyway, going to pick-up on my current playthrough and actually finish it so I can start again - while playing FO3 and New Vegas I might add.
Gosh, if only Bethesda's games weren't so flawed, un-balanced, lacking in gameplay and story blah, blah, blah...

It'd be more accurate to say that it's Bethesda's job to give us the best experience possible. Which is what, IMO, they did.Maverick827 wrote...
It's not my job to balance the game. It's Bathesda's job.

How do you even balance a game where the player can go anywhere at any level and do quests in any order and build your character the way you want it? Unless you use the level scaling that everyone hated in Oblivion, or you make the landscape so forbidding that it's another Dark Souls type game, or so easy that there's no challenge at all. And are people unwilling to change the difficulty level if they're finding it too hard or too easy?
Work a bit at it yourself, because these games are meant to offer a wide range of experience and you have to manage your own expectations and player experience. If that's too much to ask, these games aren't for you. Then play something else. Its flawed ,lacking in gameplay and story and very unbalanced. Only mods make this game worthy.

No, you just resort to name-calling when someone gives us a reasoned response.

I love the openness of the ES series and think it's a refreshing break from today's linear, hand-holding games. Yes, I mod what bugs me but I do that in many games that allow modding or have a command console. It's all about having fun. Games that don't make me feel like I'm having fun, or can't be modded to, aren't part of my library. Simple.
