Best way to make gold in Skyrim ?

The enchanting daggers and selling them the best way ?

Went back to that silly temple near the first village, Ravewood or whatever it's called after of course having closed it earlier and found a dragon and a couple of giants waiting there for me.Oh well.

It may be more interesting and lucrative to create enchanted jewelry. If you can obtain the Transmute spell, this will help increase worth and funds.

And I have read that if one has Alchemy, they can perform quests for the local Alchemists to gain freebies from the shops and better access to wares. Some here have mentioned of potions of great value.

But I would use the console before resorting to repetitive dagger crafting; have done so repeatedly to avoid MMO-like tedium.

1)  I love the realistic historically accurate Viking armours that were posted above.
Those helmets remind me of the Riders of Rohan (From Lord of The Rings).

________________________________________________________________________________

2) I was wondering, what happened to medium armour class?

Elven, Glass and Dragonscale are to heavy to be light armour and too light to be heavy armour.
As for chainmail that's also medium armour.

________________________________________________________________________________

3) Happy 1400 Page anniversary. The really epic anniversary happens at page 2000. So keep up the posting.:wizard:

Just finished the TG questline. Aside from having to reset half a dozen times to get a radiant mission in a city that I wanted almost every time, it was great. A bit short but I liked it nonetheless. It actually felt like the player character deserved to become Guild head. Restoring the Guild's reputation in each main city was great and the main questline was pretty interesting. I love the history of the Nightingale books and how they paint Barenziah as scheming hussy. Well, I guess that's true anyway, lol.

Also liked the ceremony where you become Guild head if only because Maven Black Briar ended up stirring the food while a few members hung around her. I knew she was a softie on the inside.

Gutted there isn't a Volume 3 to The Nightingales though. D:

When I upgrade my gaming system in the next year or two I'll give a gaming PC some serious thought. Skryim mods make me all jelly.

The TG was the first faction I did in Skryim and got the game off on the right foot for me, aside from fiddling with the radiant system as you pointed out. I loved all the armor, but the first set looks just perfect on my Kajit thief.

I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed the Winterhold questline at least. Maybe I'll warm up more to the CoW if I play through it again but my first time left me with a distinctly 'meh' feel. While Guilds in general need a lot of work in the ES, I hope they add some content in future games for once you become Guild Head. Something of substance and more of an incentive to stick around the Guild rather than having nothing for you to do.

On another note, I was perusing the net a while back for cut ES content and saved a comment that was written years ago because of how funny I found it. It's so reminiscent of things when Skyrim released and other assorted sequels. It's more relevant because the 'true nature of an RPG' is often a topic that gets brought up here and around the net. Well, I'll just shut up and post the comment.

Morrowind was a fine adventure game, but Bethesda failed completely in making an RPG out of it.

There was no roleplaying, no social aspect. Everything was basically make-believe: you pretend like you run the guild, you pretend like you have some deeper relationship with various notable npcs... but you don't. You just level up, kill badies, hoard items and explore the sandbox.

No social interaction whatsoever, and hence, not an RPG at all.

It puts things into perspective, haha.

^ I kinda wish at least some of the mastery quests would have been required to get the ArchMage title, tbh. At least then, it would have felt like you'd worked hard for it.

That quote is awesomely hilarious. :)

Do any of you have ideas for the following guilds/factions?

The Warrior related guild: Fighter's Guild / Jorrvaskr Companions
The Thieving related guild: Thieves Guild
The Wizard related guild: Mages Guild / College of Winterhold
The Assassin related organisation: The Dark Brotherhood

Any Daemon Hunting organisations:
 Dawnguard

Any other guilds/factions you can think of

By ideas, I mean suggestions that could be implemented in future games.

I just saw those Dragon Age mod pics on the previous page. Stuff of nightmares I tell ya. I'm thanking the nine (or should it be the Maker??) that Merrill and Isabella weren't posted.

That would have been nice. Mastery in one school at the very least. With that said, there should have been mechanisms at the College that would have helped you speed up the rate of learning the Skills. Go up five points or whatever. More lessons instead of the impersonal training screen.

That quote is a testament to how little fandoms change over time. Different players, same songs. haha

I'd like to see something like the quest in Morthal but done in a grander scale. Like finding evidence of a vampire in a fairly large city attacking or killing victims at night, it could be anyone and anyone could be it's thralls. You literally have no clues and have to piece it all together yourself. All the while the vampire continues to attack night after night, you have to find the pattern if there is one and basically hunt the streets at night hunting the hunter. Kind of like the Dawnguard attacks at the gates, but more subtle and less ****e, with an extra spooky atmosphere.

Admittedly I do see problems with that, such as entire cities being killed off if you aren't quick enough. But I do like the idea of it and they can play around with the theme in different cities. It would require bigger cities too with a lot more npc's. A game of hide and seek in Whiterun wouldn't last very long.

I prefer three ways to make big gold:

1. Making jewelry with all those lower end throw away gems/necklaces/rings.

2. Alchemy; just a huge money maker if you are an avid ingredient hunter. I just stand there and mix until I'm out of ingredients.

3. Enchanting iron and steel daggers with low end soul gems.

The bonus is that all of these level their appropriate skills while you're making the big bucks.

I'm hunting for merchants with gold in short order.

LOL, Miranda in Skyrim. Didn't someone post a Tali mod here a long time ago as well? I wanted to play as Iorveth from TW2, but alas, the modder who had extracted his appearance and made a Skyrim mod of it removed it due to lack of endorsements. I was too late to download. :(

Found another path and avoided the dragon and the giants.
Lucky me.

I originally felt the same way about CoW, but the Ritual Spell quests help give you the feeling that your mage earned the right to become the new Archmage, while Arniel's Endeavors paid off to see Arniel's discovery at the end. I agree about the incentives.

Was attacked near Whiterun by the dragon yet again. It has become a pest, like some posters on the DAI forum.Rotfl.
Went back to the destroyed town where I started the game.Found it occupied by bandits yet again.Killed them and took their stuff and managed to escape.

Wil try again to get back to Whiterun.<_<

I'll definitely do some of the Ritual Spells before becoming Arch Mage in my next go through at the College and add some flavour to it all.

Like I said before though, I wish there was an accelerated method of learning and advancing in the College in regards to Magic Schools.
