Best way to make gold in Skyrim ?
The enchanting daggers and selling them the best way ?
Went back to that silly temple near the first village, Ravewood or whatever it's called after of course having closed it earlier and found a dragon and a couple of giants waiting there for me.Oh well.

The TG was the first faction I did in Skryim and got the game off on the right foot for me, aside from fiddling with the radiant system as you pointed out. I loved all the armor, but the first set looks just perfect on my Kajit thief.AstusOz wrote...
Just finished the TG questline. Aside from having to reset half a dozen times to get a radiant mission in a city that I wanted almost every time, it was great. A bit short but I liked it nonetheless. It actually felt like the player character deserved to become Guild head. Restoring the Guild's reputation in each main city was great and the main questline was pretty interesting. I love the history of the Nightingale books and how they paint Barenziah as scheming hussy. Well, I guess that's true anyway, lol.
Also liked the ceremony where you become Guild head if only because Maven Black Briar ended up stirring the food while a few members hung around her. I knew she was a softie on the inside.
Gutted there isn't a Volume 3 to The Nightingales though. D:

Morrowind was a fine adventure game, but Bethesda failed completely in making an RPG out of it.
There was no roleplaying, no social aspect. Everything was basically make-believe: you pretend like you run the guild, you pretend like you have some deeper relationship with various notable npcs... but you don't. You just level up, kill badies, hoard items and explore the sandbox.
No social interaction whatsoever, and hence, not an RPG at all.

That would have been nice. Mastery in one school at the very least. With that said, there should have been mechanisms at the College that would have helped you speed up the rate of learning the Skills. Go up five points or whatever. More lessons instead of the impersonal training screen.happy_daiz wrote...
^ I kinda wish at least some of the mastery quests would have been required to get the ArchMage title, tbh. At least then, it would have felt like you'd worked hard for it.
That quote is awesomely hilarious.

That quote is a testament to how little fandoms change over time. Different players, same songs. hahaOvercome with desire, no?BouncyFrag wrote...

Do any of you have ideas for the following guilds/factions?
Any Daemon Hunting organisations:[/b] Dawnguard
By ideas, I mean suggestions that could be implemented in future games.

I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed the Winterhold questline at least. Maybe I'll warm up more to the CoW if I play through it again but my first time left me with a distinctly 'meh' feel. While Guilds in general need a lot of work in the ES, I hope they add some content in future games for once you become Guild Head. Something of substance and more of an incentive to stick around the Guild rather than having nothing for you to do.

I'll definitely do some of the Ritual Spells before becoming Arch Mage in my next go through at the College and add some flavour to it all.LobselVith8 wrote...

I originally felt the same way about CoW, but the Ritual Spell quests help give you the feeling that your mage earned the right to become the new Archmage, while Arniel's Endeavors paid off to see Arniel's discovery at the end. I agree about the incentives.
