Ultimate follower overhaul - lets you equip them
My home is your home - assigns their new home

The best race I think one could as other than orc if you want to be able to take lots of damage is the breton. They start with %25 magic resistance then you can add on an additional %30 magic resistance under magic resistance in alteration. Along with the agent of mara(%15) and the atronach stone(%15), you can take lots of magic damage. It protects from all 3 magic elements(frost, fire, and shock) and if you are wearing a very strong armor, you can be very powerful. Damage protection from magic is capped at %85 and will only protect you from that much. Even if you get over %100 resistence.
If I remember right, the Atronach Stone is actually 50% magic absorb rather than resist. It's the Lord Stone that has magic resist(and some physical DR).
However, if you do use the Atronach Stone as a Breton then you can combine it with your Dragonskin racial to have 100% spell absorbtion for 1 minute a day.
Or just get the Aetherial Crown and use both =P

@Abraham probably the command animal racial power. It is utterly useless. You mostly encounter wolves as wild animals and you can only use the power once a day. I would replace it with something like"once a day, call a large animal to your aid until it dies."

In your opinion: which racial powers are the worst and what would you replace them with?
Imperials and Nords could use different powers, their's suck. They basically have watered down versions of calm and rout. Anyone can get to use them eventually if they train on illusion, not very unique.
That's where this mod comes in.

Overall, I would say Imperials; have chosen not to use even one thus far.
For replacement abilities, perhaps an added bonus to Speech and any Crafting to aid their role as central trade giants.

That looks amazing.
The other popular mod Skyrim Redone also looks great.

While I do like the modular nature of this overhaul package, I am not a fan of the way it changes the Skills and Perks. Also, am not a fan of any author that trash talks the Vanilla experience or developers while promoting their own game aid.

Neither am I, for example I'm not a big fan of the Civil War Overhaul author but his work is good anyway. Some mod authors are just that way, and it is not like their views don't have merits, I personally do not support them but Bethesda is far from perfect and there are things that could have been done better. For example the engine, it is time for them to give the boot to Gamebryo, it is far too old.

From what I have read, CWO was full of bugs, and the author was not only talking trash, but also taking credit for restoring work done by others. Even if this mod was flawless, I would not give this type of author the time of day.
A differing opinion is one thing; this is another. If I shared the same opinion of the vision by the author of SkyRe, I might be more forgiving, and give something else a try. But CWO and other mods by that author do not have to worry about me trying their projects at all.

Full of bugs yes, as would be expected of a mod that size and that restores cut content, there's no way that could've been avoided, it is now way more stable than it was at the beginning, I get what you're saying and I personally agree with it, I dislike that author not because of that particularly but because he's just an arrogant ass, and that is also the very reason his mod page is full of complaints, trolling and hate.
Nonetheless, I don't really care about that, I don't have to interact with the author at all. As long as the mod is good I really don't have an issue, not going to pass on a good mod because the author is righteous idiot. But I get where you're coming from.

I try not to let the personality of the author detract from their work.
That said it does bug me when people behave in the manner mentioned above.
Modding is a way of adding new content to a game.
I see overhauls as a means of providing a new way to play the same great game.
I would like to try out Skyrim Redone and Requiem, but sadly I'm on the PS3 not PC.

Here is my take:
I do not return to restaurants with great food, but rude staff, nor plan to return to stay at quality hotels with rude or apathetic management. In such cases, I try to allow for a change of mind and actions, and may try again after a given period of time, but I certainly do not promote their products.
This, for me, carries over to modding games The author of SkyRe is not as blatantly distasteful in promotion as those read in CWO, but I do not wish to promote either. I prefer to reward better behavior as seen in other like products, and promotions, and instead herald those works and authors.

[Cut out the part where you quoted me. Some people moan about pyramid quoting. Doesn't bother me but it bothers others for some reason. Don't know why people dislike pyramid quoting so much].
Back to point. You have a good point right there.
I guess in my case, being in a restaurant with rude staff creates a very uncomfortable atmosphere. I cannot make that separation because the attitude of the staff actually contributes towards the atmosphere.
With a pice of work like a book, film or a game, I can easily make that separation. I am not physically in the same room as the author.
However I can see why that would sit badly with you. Without Bethesda, Skyrim wouldn't exist and neither would the modding community. So for a modder to disrespect the developers in that way is ungrateful.
I am curious. Do you have the evidence of this guy bad mouthing Bethesda?
If true that is a very unprofessional thing to do. Insulting Bethesda fans and Bethesda is not the way to garner support for your mod.

There are nicer ways of putting it.
Here is how I would have put it.
"The corner stone of the Skyrim experience for me was the overall environment and interactions between characters.
I really love what Bethesda has done with the civil war.
Choosing between the Imperials and Stormcloaks is a really difficult choice to make, as both factions make compelling arguments for their side. Once you pick a side, you then engage in a series of battles where you travel across all of Skyrim in a series of seige, espionage and subtefuge type missions to decide the fate and future of this mighty province.
With this mod, I hope to expand the epicness of the Civil War to include new objectives, new missions and new enemy types.
[There is then an explanation of what the mod does and it's features]"
Granted I am not a UN Diplomat, but would this be any better than Apollo's message?

Plus he seems rather dismayed at those that may act in a sim manner to him in the forums; a bit hypocritical, IMO.

The problem with that author isn't that as much as it is his behavior with people and the way the mod page is made. The mod is really complex and difficult to figure out, but the mod page is anything but serious about that. A lot of people complained about that in civil manner, and they got shot down by the author. That author doesn't know how to handle people, like I said, he's an ass.
Half of the trolling, hating and general contempt that goes on in that mod page is his own doing. When he treats people like morons, its no wonder they will dislike him. I've seen other mod pages for bigger mods, and they don't have this type of posts or death threats to the author, and that's because those other authors actually treat people with decency.
