Well now will have to admit that as for a system upgrade that's not happening for a long time. You see I  custom built this computer and it currently has the latest of everything in it. Of course what does Micrsoft  After all they want us all to be running tablets. Isn't that the thought behind Windows 8? Were not smart enough to use a real computer.<LOL>

Perhaps update all drivers? This has appeared as a solution for me a couple of occasions. Also, be aware that this could be caused thru Sound issues; check settings and search for desired solutions.

Nope, its an MMO and I don't do MMOs. Plus, its also not very lore friendly at all.Seems to me like they're just making it for the sake of having an MMO to compete with other MMOs. Whether it flops or not, is a matter for debate, but personally I don't see it going very well, especially on consoles.

Wanted to try and play, but the monthly fee makes long term interests vanish; cannot afford to pay to play Skyrim w/o Pause functionality. And like others, MMO's are not my primary choice of setting.

And I have been invited to join four or five Beta tests offered thus far, but was not possible due to some Tech glitch. I admit readily and frequently that I am Techless, but Support could not get this working after a few attempts, so I stopped trying to test. Again, I require better results for something with a monthly fee.

All that aside, the VO team has me excited to watch gameplay when it is released, and the Character Creation looks superb thus far.

So for now, I await to hear word on SkyWind, then DAI in the Fall.

Good video, but the pre-order stuff is pretty stupid. I can't believe they're actually putting Imperials as a pre-order bonus. 

But in reality I don't know why they need an MMO for TES, if you ask me all they're doing is digging their own graves with this game.

I'm not big on MMOs, though I did admittedly enjoy the little bit of the beta I played. 

Still, I'm just hoping it doesn't interfere with them making TESVI.

Only thing the display cases are good for is opening and closing them and the only thing the weapons plaque is good for is taking space up on an empty wall.

Maybe someone knows of a mod that fixes these problems as well as for other in the Hearthfire Dlc and if they do post the link please.

Be sure to install the Unofficial Hearthfire Patch mod; might help with some issues.

An Amulet of Mara supposedly can be purchased from Maramel in the temple in Riften; the other can be located at a Shrine to the N/E of Riften.

I'm not sure these items have a fixed location that you can loot.  You can easily get an amulet of Mara at the temple of Mara in Riften: do the Book of Love Quest gets you one for free or inquire about marriage I think also gets you one.  You will occasionally find an amulet on Imperial soldiers and rarely on draugr/skeletons.  

As for the Heartthfire houses, I'm not sure what you mean by the display cases not working.  They don't have a function.  You have always had to manually put an object on/in them.  The weapon racks do have a habit of not being able to place a weapon on them...I'd estimate it happens about 20% of the time.  If there is a fix out there for this, I do not know of it.  Oh, and the other homes are basically the same.  There are some different outdoor options for the one in Hjaalmarch and the Pale, but the only noticable difference would be what you decide for the interior structures (e.g. whether or not an armory or library for the East Wing).

For anyone who cares, Michael Kirkbride's comic c0DA comes out on Friday 2/14. It is set in future-time Tamriel, apparently in Morrowind, with the return of Numidium and the Nerevarine. The Thalmor are also supposed to be involved. He's got a tumblr now, with lots of fun concept art sketches and commentary. Which may or may not reference Vivec smothering Ysmir with his vajay.

The thing for me is that I actually am into MMOs, but I didn't feel like ESO did enough to set itself apart from other MMOs.

At the start I was thinking "So it's like Elder Scrolls but with worse graphics and other players, cool" which a few hours later changed into "and now I'm just grinding out quests for XP. This is just like every other MMO I've played". I don't feel like the combat is enough of a difference since to be honest, I never felt that combat was a strong point in the Elder Scrolls series.

For the issues with your house, you can try looking at the Unofficial Skyrim Patch(there should be one specifically for Hearthfire). I'm not sure if it has that specific issue in it, but the USP mods fix a lot of the problems that Bethesda hasn't gotten around to.

Funny series but he ends up in quite a bit of combat.  I learned from him that when you sit at an inn, the barkeep will approach you and take your order.  I would have never known that if I didn't watch his playthrough.

FYI: the Unofficial patches have been updated (all of them), and those for DLC now require the Unofficial Skyrim patch be installed too. Chalk up another 100+ bugs fixed.

There is a pacifist playthrough for both Oblivion and Skyrim I believe. It just goes to show just how dynamic the game is. You could play ES as some hack n slash dungeon sprawl, or you can play it carefully, you can LARP, you can...

You get my point

My first Oblivion character was largely pacifist.

Of course, I also stole everything that wasn't bolted to the ground and on fire.
