BTW# just got in from running some errands and stopped at my local GameStop where I buy my games to pay for it. I asked him about a midnight release for the game on the 10th and he said that they are having a midnight release for it. He looked it up for me and said so far for all version of the game he's got 1,000 pre-orders and thats not counting thos that ordered the Anniversary Ed. And to think that was just at one store.<G>
That's amazing! I wonder how many preorders there are at "my" game shop (and if the fact that you can win a 2m tall and 50 kg heavy dragonborn statue boosted the sales)?
While we're at it, would anyone here want a life-size dragonborn statue if I am the "lucky" winner?
I will play Skyrim on my ps3. I dont' think my computer can handle it since I played Dragon Age 2 on low graphic settings. If I like it I will probably buy it for PC too when I get a new computer.

Now not knowing much about the metric system what is the conversion of 2m tall 50kg dragon in English feet and pounds if you know? I'd probably be interested in it.<G>

I think this guy made it the farthest away from the starting area. He found the carriage travel system and went to some small town far in the North.

Serriously are most gamers just sadistic ****s, or on the verge of being serial killers? I mean the only times I have purposly killed the Civies is in Fable, for the property market. And in GTA/Saits Row. Mainly as I'm a horrible driver and run over countless people on the sidewalks. Given the demographics in some of these regions, I then go out and purposely murder people of another group so when I'm finally captured one day it will be for wholesale Murder and not hate crimes.

PC - better graphics, mouse/keyboard, and modding.

Holy crap that thing is big. I wouldn't want to imagine what the shipping cost for that thing would be.If you don't mind my asking what country do you reside in?

I still wonder how they'll get mods to the 360 like they were talking about though as of now Mods are a mute point, even several months past release they are. I mean Oblivion has alot of mods, but how long has it been out? and how many mods where never finished? I know from some of my RTS games alot of mods take forever, or just don't get out.

I live in Sweden :innocent:
I don't think I will win that thing though so you shouldn't worry about that.

I'm sure we might get something, but I think it'll be like how REACH's map maker and file share playes out, with only the top at best 100 files showing up in the search, unless you look for the name or keywords. I mean lot of space unless bethseda is planning to provide it. Though given the content in the game plus all of the other games I got coming that month and soon after short of maybe skin packs I doubt at least for a few months I would have even one mod on the machine.

Well if Blizzy's reaction is anything to take at it, I think alot of companies don't like mods to an extent. Funny enough though I could see Microsoft adding "Approved" content, like skins and such, its how with Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, or once more REACH's file shares and DLC (Well not in the laters case) are free. Microsoft has went a little soft towards mods from the HaloGen days. Nintendo however, even if its an unrealted game, if they see any of there properity in it, they will shut you down.naughty99 wrote...

I'm not quite sure how Sony and MS would feel about thousands of mods being available for free everyone who bought Skyrim on console. I imagine they would want to derive some revenue from it.

That's fair enough. I'm not pretending the PC crowd is better. Some of us just enjoy tinkering with hardware and seeing it pay off in the end, that's all there is to that.
As for Skyrim, I'm wondering how much is known about the leveling system. I heard a bit about it but it was a bit vague.
