Bastards deserve what they get. Damn Imperial holds put a bounty on you, bunch of apologists is what they are. What do they care if a patrol of those morons gets slaughtered by an unaffiliated group or individual.

I noticed this as well, so I created a batch file called Bounty that sets my bounty with all holds to zero. Open console and type "bat bounty" - all done. B) However, if you can kill them when nobody else is near, the bounty is cleared when the last one falls; their prisoner isn't considered a witness.

I have to remember to take screenshots the non-Steam way as well, because Steam doesn't let me link images in a way that they display in a thread. :(

Has anyone watched the Skyrim parody called Dragonbored?

It was part of a Twilight Zone esque comedy series on That Guy With The Glasses.

Here is a link.

Okay so....that was really weird.

A Dragon lands in Dawnstar and gets killed by Jarl Skald.

Guess the old bastard is not totally useless.

Fixed my interior water lag issue last night. [Water] lines duplicated in skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini so I commented out the skyrim.ini copies but left the unique settings alone.

Have been running between Greybeards and word walls to build up my shout vocabulary. Dragons are only spawning near outdoor wordwalls at this point in the main quest so I harvest them too.

I always forget to use J'zargo's flame cloak scrolls so I went to a safe place away from NPCs, used a scroll, and spawned three undead with the console. Quest complete.

Oh, and also using http://www.nexusmods...im/mods/37718/? to retexture draugr. Love the dead eyes look when they're dead/dormant. Also using the improved hair.

Big volcanic questions about the region of Skyrim.

You know how Morrowind has a volcanic island called Vvardenfell?

Well Skyrim seems to be a volcanic region.

It has a nice hot geezer spring that you can bathe in.

It has earthquakes.

Is The Throat of The World a dormant volcano that hasn't erupted in centuries?

By the events of Elder Scrolls Skyrim, isn't that volcano due to erupt? There are quite a few worrying earthquakes. Is this a sign that the mountain is going to blow!

Also regarding tectonic  plates, where does the fault line lie in Tamriel?

If I lived near a mountain and there was a bunch of earth quakes, I'd be worried about a volcanic eruption.

Why are none of the Nords worried about the Throat of The World? If that mountain erupts southern Skyrim and northern Cyrodiil are finished.

It took a long time, but Desdenova finally found someone in Solitude who is not a milk-drinker:

Like others said the Throat of the World is no volcano, and if you're referring to the volcanic Tundra of Windhelm, it is that way because of its proximity with Vvardenfell, I don't know about anyone else but some times there's random earthquaks in Eastmarch and if you pay attention to the sounds closely, it almost sounds as if Vvardenfell is erupting.

This mod enhances that.

Ah the reaping of the Thalmor has begun!

Once I get past the party its gloves off and soul traps on.

So that was interesting.

Ancient Dragon shows up roaring...then flies off instantly.

Those hotsprings and sulfer vents make me think that part of the Rift is Skyrim's Yellowstone. I was there last night checking out the sunbathing hunters and accidentally stole an axe while in stealth. I didn't want it so I immediately dropped it on the ground. The gal lying in the water walked over, picked up the axe, told me I dropped something, and gave the axe to me. I laughed.

Have been doing side quests like a fiend in preparation for the civil war. Still have much to do though. Built my first house in Falkreath (love that view in a modded game with hundreds of trees and Lake Illinata). It's the full meal deal, with Enchanting, Alchemy, and Library towers. Only serious design concern is that it lets me put a full crafting setup in the cellar, but there's no outlet for the smoke.

Went back to timescale 3 becuase I like the 8-hour days and because texture glitches infrequent at best. It's a suitable compromise for me. Everything else works great, but as mentioned before that's probably because I avoid overhaul mods that are timescale sensitive. I'm not really big on overhauls anyway, unless it's my own work.

You know I never lived in Solitude before...I have to admit I kinda like it.

At least after the Imperial Milk Drinkers get booted out.

Had that happen last night. My old Orc paladin was like "Bring it bee-otch!" and as soon as Volendrung was in hands the coward flew over a mountain peak...

Man, the random placement of radiant quests really makes my planning on when I want to do things a little tricky. I recently installed Falskaar and hadn't quite worked out when I was going to play it yet. Since I finally activated the part of Vilja's mod where you can make her a proper bard, one of the dungeons I have to go to was put in Falskaar. I was kind of pondering doing it after Dawnguard without really rushing the latter (since at least on the Dawnguard side, the ending to the questline is way too abrupt imho. When I beat it on my first character I was just kind of like 'Uhhh. That's it?') but now I might scamper over there and at least find this dungeon without really mucking around with the quests.

EDIT: Well, it seems that Falskaar made the descision for me since it appears you can't leave without working through the questline. At least at first glance. Okay then.

I got bored so I resto'd a wood sword to do 100,000 DMG and it froze Skyrim so I destroyed the sword.

Desdenova gets annoyed with a Deathlord.

Sometimes you say stuff that makes zero sense playing Skyrim :wizard:

PS: You'll know when to stop the recording ;)

Ahhh, err just saw on my stean page I have nearly 400 HOURS on Skyrim. No mods, no DLC (except hearthfire). Kind of makes me glad that I don't have access to my PC atm, and that Summer is on the way. Thats the most Ive ever played of any game afaik, next to BF3, Empire, Medieval II, and Shogun2.

Nice costume play.

Is it just me, or is rogue/assassin armour in Skyrim the best looking armour in  the vanilla game?

I agree about the costume play...and I friggin' hate costume play.

Just seems like the Skyrim fanatics tend to create and pull together costumes that have texture and detail, and an in-game look....not all of them of course. The ES fans appear to be more serious in their presentation than say...the Dragon Age nerds do.

Just my humble take as someone who'd rather extract one or two of his own teeth with a concrete chisel and maul hammer, than associate with anything considered "cosplay."

That's interesting cosplay though I'm not fond of the whole black-leather ninja garb look (maybe because it's so stereotypical in media). That's just me.

I know this () is two years old, but I'm loving it in Skyrim with the Dragonborn w/Lute mod installed. Always catches my ear whenever I'm in Windhelm's inn. TESVEdit throws errors when scanning the mod, but TESVEdit gets quite a few things wrong so I ignore it.

I'm up to 99 mods now but still mostly mesh/texture stuff, like HD shrines. I installed a quest helper mod (name escapes me and I'm not at home to look it up) that flags dungeons which contain quests from other locations, so I no longer have to wonder if a dungeon has a remote quest I might break by clearing it right away. HD book covers is also very nice.
