there should be a Game of Thrones mod for Skyrim. GoT is basically Skyrim as a TV show except with less shouting.

I have been saying this for the longest time. And there are some GoT Skyrim mods, but it's not as elaborately planned out as I'd like.
Personally, my favorite Game of Thrones mod for a game is Warband: Mount and Blade. That is *really* good.
I also heard about someone making a mod for Skyrim that would enable co-op, but the project fell through and never got finished. Was kinda bummed about that.
Also, in case no one has seen this before and not sure if anyone's ever posted on this thread (disappeared from BSN for a while so I missed some shiit).

South Park The Stick of Truth does something very similar with the Thu'um. ![]()

Amazing how this thread still keeps rising up to the front pages. Skyrim was 2011, it's now nearly 2015. Says a lot about the game.
I'm loving both Fallout and Elder Scrolls series.
Do you know any other games or game series with a "lone wanderer" type feel to them?

NWN1 offers mods and expansions that were quite enjoyable.

Ok, here's 1 for you guys; (forgive me if it's obvious)
So, I was just fighting the Pale Lady with my lvl. 16 Khajiit Tiger-Monk. I was killed a few times, then realized I had a chance for one odd reason. Her frost magic was RECHARGING my mana! I was easily able to heal myself and wail away on her.
I do NOT have ward absorb, or any other perk/item which explains this.
Anybody?

Nothing from me.
I am quoting your post to improve chances of someone answering your question.
My speculation is that this is some sort of bug in the game.
I haven't encountered it myself though.

Probably one of Skyrim's many random bugs. Don't worry about it. No matter what happens, in the end, your save game will blow up.

A.... mammoth just dropped on my head when I left the Kynesgrove inn. I spent the night there after killing the dragon that gets resurrected by Alduin. When I got there a Stormcloak soldier dropped down in front of the inn as well. Skyrim never ceases the be bizarre, (un)official patches or no.

I have new pc so decided to start all over with Skyrim. New installation, new mods with Mod Organizer, and yet I get frequent crashes. I don't get it. I followed the STEP guide, and only added an ENB mod and Automatic Variants as well. Very frustrating, because the build I'm trying out is very fun: the sun priest: http://theskyrimblog...-the-sun-priest

If you are getting CTD's at Start, this may be due to Load Order; running LOOT is advisable. If it occurs afterwards, then it could be conflicting mods or scripts, FX issues, sound settings, etc. Also might wish to insure that all drivers have been updated properly.
Good luck!

To be honest this game is the one I hate the most from Bethesda's RPGs.
They could have done so much with it, but they went lazy and assumed the fans will make do for their sloppiness.
Just look at the TESNEXUS and how many amazing things fans have done, that Bethesda should have thought of first.
Even the bugfixing mods ( and there are a lot ).
A modded Skyrim is probably the best RPG ever made, but the vanilla Skyrim is something I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.

And yet, after playing 700+ hrs in Vanilla, I would do it again. Skyrim ain't perfect, but it is highly entertaining, and worthy of the GOTY.

For me, if vanilla Skyrim had a spell maker, then it would be perfect!
No spell maker.
Heck combining the dragon words to craft new Thu'um would awesome.
Oh well at least there are mods for this. Mods I can't access because I purchased the PS3 version and not the PC version.

Well, I sure as hell can't understand that.
The scaling, leveling, characters and melee fighting is so bland I simply can't imagine the game without SkyRe and Interesting NPCs.
Do give those a look, the latter adds over 250 NPCs that have more depth than all of skyrim combined.
