Wow...Just wow. What a well written and emotional quest. Bravo Bethesda. This is the kind of stuff that makes up for all the bugs. Hope they Keep it up in ES VI.

Tribunal religion alone is filled with contradiction, and the Temple tersely accepts that Vivec has a dark side like Mephala . . .
Oh boy, that book is only the tip of the iceberg with regards to Vekh.

I never got what the advantage of summoned weapons were- weren't they always weaker than mundane and forged equivalents? I know you could get a perk for soul trap engrained with them, but besides the general lack of weight as a minor boost what was the point?
Fully-perked bound weapons do a decent amount of damage at higher levels and carry Three enchantments useful for fighting against conjurers and necromancers if one has the Oblivion Binding perk.

Seems like confirmation is still far off...

Black Marsh has not been confirmed officially.
The next Elder Scrolls game could literally take place anywhere in Tamriel.
Elsewhere in Nirn (not to be confused with Elsweyr) with places like Akavir, Atmora and Aldmeris are possibilities though unlikely.
However the one factor that could increase the odds of the next game taking place outside of Tamriel is the fact that the entire continent
was covered by Elder Scrolls Online and Elder Scrolls Arena.
Though my guess is that the game will take place in Tamriel since Bethesda wants to keep the rest of Nirn a mystery.
All of the provinces have a good chance of being featured with the exception of: Morrowind, Cyrodiil and Skyrim, since they have entire games dedicated to them already.

For the next Elder Scrolls game, I'd love to see Akavir.
I know this won't happen, but it would be just awesome!
Playable races could include:
Snake Humanoids
Ape Humanoids
Tiger Humanoids (not Khajiit)
and another bizarre humanoid race.
4 regions at war with each other.
A race that wishes to claim all of Akavir and possibly all of Tamriel.
If Bethesda doesn't want to go to Akavir, then there could be a game
set in Tamriel with the 4 Akaviri races having been united in an unholy alliance to conquer Tamriel.
Your job is to gather an army of the various factions and races of Tamriel to defeat the Akaviri invaders.

My moneys on either Hammerfell, (perhaps during a renewed Aldmeri attack), or a southern nation, like Valenwood or Elsweyr. We don't see enough lush tropical lands and beautiful turquoise seas in fantasy, so that would be a treat.

It wont be Elsweyr or Blackmarsh because all those animated tails are too much of a resource hog ![]()
anyway, time for an idiotic creation kit issue, im having problems linking doors or more specifically, one side of the door works but the other doesnt

Oh snap! I just realized it MUST be in Valenwood because there is a "V" and an "I"!!!

I don't really care about the children in Skyrim.
The simple reason being that they can't die.
During my two playthroughs NPC's did die.
Whenever a dragon or a group of vampires attacked a town, there would be at least one NPC who would get killed.
Some of the NPCs I actually liked passed away. This was upsetting, but it made me miss them. It felt impactful.
If an NPC can't be harmed why should I care?
No wonder Braith goes around hitting people.
She knows that there will be no consequences for it.

My bet is on Valenwood or Elsweyr
Summerset being the most likely out-of-left-field choice.

Elsweyr sounds more enticing than Valenwood.
Valenwood: Jungle and forest.
Elsweyr: Forest and desert.
Also KHAJIIT!
Perhaps J'zargo got fed up of Skyrim's harsh tundra and moved to Elsweyr.

^ Plus, we cannot forget that a factor in selecting a locale is a main quest line; so would Elsweyr make for a good one?

Maybe, they could probably conjure one up no matter where
My main reason for bringing up Valenwood and Summerset is that I think the Thalmor will be a bigger part of the main questline this time. I guess the same could happen of Elsweyr, it just feels a bit peripheral. I'll admit I don't know a whole lot about the Khajit, or what we could do in Elsweyr. All I really feel sure about is that the next game will be in the Aldmeri Dominion.
Of course, I may just be totally overestimating how much ES:VI will be a natural progression from Skyrim.

Only issue there is Bethesda will need a canon outcome to the civil war... so that will suck

Its a weird concept in ES lore where time breaks and multiple contradictory timelines occur simultaneously, basically Akatosh suffers a stroke. They used it once before. Opening that rift in time to see Alduin beaten the first time and killing so many "eternal" beings linked to Akatosh might qualify as a sufficient trigger. (Sorry if you knew that, I wasn't sure)
