Do it at a Craft Design Workshop with adult supervision instead?
I think in most countries you need to have a weapons license to be allowed to own a crossbow. Because you can walk around with it loaded.
A homemade one probably applies to this too.

Well, I purchased the game for PC yesterday, along with a PC controller. Can't wait to start my modding adventures
Watched the first Gopher video last night and will watch the next one tonight. At least I am "familiar" with WINRar, so that's a start, haha xD (My old habits of downloading zipped doujinshi finally pay off.)
First mods: Ethereal Elven Overhaul and that mod that will make Brynjolf my husbando
I do want some nice armor/outfit mods, though. And maybe stuff for the mounts.
Thanks, Elhanan!! Checking those both out right now
(At work, shame on me)
EDIT: They look awesome
I'll definitely be trying both of them out.

And for my game, Project Reality: Climates of Tamriel is a must; my top selection overall. Gopher has a vid on it, and when he mentions how close it seems to creating Norwegian-like skies, I was sold. Absolutely beautiful!
I'll second this; have used CoT since 2012 and absolutely love how it reminds me of the weather where I grew up.
Does the Cursed Ring of Hircine only affect werewolf characters? I've had it on my thief for quite some time now, thinking it would make for an entertaining twist, but I'm starting to doubt it will ever turn him into werewolf.

Interesting facts you may or may have not known about Skyrim lore. Why does the player character not see Shor aka Lorkhan sitting on his throne in Sovangarde? It's because the player character is Ysmir - a Dragon Shezarrine - an avatar of Shor.
This is further alluded to with the Dragon Aspect Shout "Later, many Nords could not look on him without seeing a dragon."

Or someone felt uncomfortable portraying Shor in the game.

Download Interesting NPCs...it adds a lot of good quests and companions with actual background , some have personal quests , and also a bit of romance content.
Some NPCs from the mods are really chatty , sometimes a bit too much.
But overall it's a great mod.

Highly recommend Interesting NPCs as well. No script editor needed. It's just a large .esp file. Because of all the voiced dialogue tracks, it's too big to fit in the Steam workshop.I think I'd need the script editor for that, correct? I'm having trouble downloading that so may stick with just cosmetic changes
• More than 225 Voiced NPCs
• Over 25,000 lines and over 500,000 words of Player and NPC Dialogue
• 47 Quests – 7-Part Main Questline, 6-part Miscellaneous Questline plus 19 Full and 15 Miscellaneous
• Over 25 Followers with Location Based Commentary
• 11 Marriage NPCs

Here is where you can get the latest version: http://3dnpc.com/
I have been using Nexus Mod Manager. Can I get it there? It's very easy for a noob like me because all I have to do is click a button ![]()

Nah. I mean sorta. But I'm pretty sure MK wanted the implication to be that the PC is the avatar of Shor. I can use TES lore and symbolism within the games to prove it.
Note the stained glass representation of Akatosh. If you look towards the head you see the obvious dragon. If you look to the right of the dragon head you see the head of a Beared King - Shezarr aka Shor. The Missing God cursed to wander Tamriel in dead skin in search of his heart. Who wanders like a player character.
Just about every book that depicts the story of Alessia has her having either the favor and blessing of Akatosh or Shezarr, but never both simultaneously. If you analyze the Shrine of Talos who was an avatar of Shor aka Shezarr or Lorkhan you see a Bearded King stabbing a Serpent or Dragon. If you then look at the Shrine of Akatosh you see a Dragon or Serpent swallowing a sword. A perfect inversion of the Talos shrine.
This is the Imperial Sigil. It represents Septim Dynasty and to lesser extent the Empire. It's true meaning is that of Akatosh within a Diamond shaped hole - described as Shezarr's empty chest hole from which his heart was ripped out. If you look on the floor on the exact spot in High Hrothgar where the Grey Beards anoint the Last Dragonborn as the Stormcrown and Ysmir, Dragon of the North - you see a diamond tile.
A Dragon inside of a Diamond. A Shezarrine.

Whenever you talk about these theories of the deep lore of the Elder Scrolls, I'm always impressed and a bit suspect. If you're right, then I would have to admit that the lore of the universe is complex and complicated on a level I would never think to apply to 'mere' video game designers... but at the same time, I'd feel amazingly ignorant and foolish for never seeing any of the things myself.
But then, symbollic pattern inference has never been my strong point, and I have never really gotten into the Elder Scrolls universe. But still, you make it far more impressive than I'd ever consider it otherwise.

It is though. Michael Kirkbride is insane-genius. He made Tamriel this way after Daggerfall.

Well then, I'd love to pick apart your brain and hear more of these theories of the deep lore, but I'm afraid of what else I might find if I did so. Lots of Bat Angst, and probably some grey slime of some sort between all the bits of brain.

I like the ambiguity of the lore behind ES.
You get contradictions. Which is good. Historical sources should correlate to an extent. That's what makes the lore interesting.
Not everything is squeaky clean and perfect.
It could also be the product of lazy writing or great writing.
Who knows.
I'm just putting that out there.

The Enantiomorph is a good one. Rebel (Padomay), King (Anu), Witness (Nir) and all the mythic echos that reenacted the creation of the universe which results in retroactively creating new Gods. Talos being such a One and most powerful example.

I know, and I know you can prove it too. I still pay attention to things like C0DA and ESO's lore. I used to read MK's posts when he regularly posted in the Lore section of Bethesda's forums, way back when it was just called TES forums.
What I said really isn't a contradiction of your explanation, which is valid as MK stated, "up to you." Rather, a clue of the real explanation regarding Skyrim's development is worth knowing.

Micheal Kirkbride is my hero, I LOVE him...no h****o.

Everything is just a dream, don't worry about it..

The genius is obvious, both as tutelary spirit of TES and overall intelligent person. The implication of insane is scary. Sometimes, I get this weird feeling he occasionally places personal aspects as metaphors into the games. Pelinal as alcoholic is one of them. It's disturbing.
