But I am not a fan of DCO; tried it and disliked the somewhat convulsive appearance it gave encounters. Plus the whole flying away multiple times to heal gets old quickly. Gopher used it for his LPSA series in the later Chapters, and am still not impressed with it. Also not a fan of mod authors that feel compelled to trash the host game and/or the Developers.

Personally, I recommend De4adly Dragons as a must-have mod due to the MCM settings, where one can tailor the Dragons as they wish. This is also a huge plus for Frostfall.

I don't like it when modders do that.
I feel the point of modding is to add value to an already brilliant game.
What is the point of adding value to "The Ninjabreadman" or "Anubis 2"? That would be like putting lipstick on a pig.

Modder's trash talking their host game infuriates me...especially when that host game studio has graciously provided them a toolkit by which to change or improve upon any number of things they want within the game. Its hypocritical, and counter-productive to an otherwise thoroughly enjoyable enterprise that gives great freedom and longer life spans to games.
I won't support the hypocrites if I discover them.

Tried to pickpocket a book from one of the Greybeards. That was not a very good idea.

I don't think Skyrim is on PS4.
I have a question about the playable 4 races of man.
Are they humans or are they human like?
They are :
Bretons (Half man half elf)
Imperial
Nord
Redguard
The reason I ask is because I've never come across anyone reefer to them as "human".
The 4 human like races are called "man" rather than "human".
Could it be because they're not human?

Sorry, really old song Killers reference from a by gone age.
Thanks for the response Sigma Tauri.
Is that a Khajiit or is it a Ka Po Tun in your avatar?

They're all human.
Wasn't there something special about Redguards that made them not-human? Like they weren't related to the other human races? *no TES lore expert* ![]()

Redguards come from a different continent than other humans, called Yokuda. Not much is known about it really. The other humans are largely descendents of settlers from Atmora which is a continent in the far north.

Neither. It's a minor Venture Brothers character named Karl.

They're human. As greengoron89 stated, they came from another continent west of Tamriel called Yokuda. According to the Annotated Anuad, the ancestors of mankind became isolated from each other as a result of their war with the ancestors of the elves. The men of Yokuda later became the Redguards while the men of the northern continent of Atmora became the Nords.

I'm getting contradictory information about the Atmorans.
Are all Nords, Imperials and Bretons of Attmoran decent.
Or do they have different lineage?
Also if Bretons are half mer, which elven race are they descended from?
Is it Altmer or is it a non-playable elven race from the Elder Scrolls universe?

You're right in that there is contradictory information regarding Atmorans. What is indisputable is that Nords are of Atmoran descent. On the other hand, it is not universally accepted that Imperials and Bretons are Atmorans.
The orthodox scholastic position of the Empire is that the Nedes, the ancestors of both Imperials and Bretons, are of Atmoran descent. This theory of Atmoran origin of the Nedes is known informally as the Out-of-Atmora theory. Other scholars believe that is Imperial propaganda, that they theorize Nedes are actually native to Tamriel even prior to Ysgramor's arrival.
To further confuse you, Nords believe that Tamriel is their home in the first place. Nordic mythology believes that Kyne, the Nordic storm goddess, breathed men into existence on Mount Hrothgar, and the Nordic arrival on Tamriel's shores is, to the Nords, a return from exile in Atmora.
In conclusion, you just have to accept that there is contradiction.
Also if Bretons are half mer, which elven race are they descended from?
Is it Altmer or is it a non-playable elven race from the Elder Scrolls universe?
Bretons are partially the result of human concubines mating with the Direnni high elves.

It would be interesting to learn a bit more about the Nedes. I'd always thought Nede = Atmoran but perhaps there's more to it. I do find it a bit odd that some consider the Out-of-Atmora thing to be propaganda. What reason would Imperials have to lie about that exactly?
