Eh I married my tsun tsun Vikas.
The thought of him cooking for my dragonborn has me laughing my ass off. Especially since he's an elf.

Absolutely the worst part of Skyrim for me, not to mention the lack of immersion. I mean, how many spouses would be fine with cooking warm meals and sharing profits as wedded bliss?
Silver Lining: Romance with pixelated characters is not of primary importance to my gaming, so it could have been worse.
Heh, I downloaded the mod that allows you to have Ulfric as a follower and makes him available for marriage as well for my Nord. Obviously he doesn't have the standard lines for the wedding, so he ended saying "I hope you're happy" in a very, very unhappy voice.
Then he immediately turned around and left. So much for romance, lol.

That's what you get for marrying that throne usurping elven pawn.
Weirdly enough Inquisition made me appreciate this game in a new light. Combat is better, magic is better, exploration is better, more freedom, low load times and by god the MUSIC is absolutely stunning.
After going through DAI it made me reinstall skyrim and i will say it is by far a superior game than bio's latest offering. Best part less focus on romance and inclusiveness based policy of bioware and more on being a good game.
Oh well june should be interesting as i hope at E3 fallout gets announced.
Would it be better if the Elder Scrolls adapted the gameplay style of dishonored, deus ex or bioshock? If they remove guns and futuristic weapons and also include magic.
anyone know a good complete berserk skyrim mod?

They kind of already did with the spells.
Spells became equip-able effects in your hands for Skyrim.
This is partly because the controller that is normally reserved for spells was allocated towards the Thu'um abilities.
This creates award situations when you're in a tavern with fire spells in both hands and ordering a drink.
Breton Mage: Please may I order a Honey Brew ale?
Bartender: Please don't hurt me!
Breton Mage: Good heavens. What ails you?
Bartender: Please, don't set me on fire. I've done nothing to you.
Breton Mage: Oh silly me. [sheaves fire spells] I'm so sorry. I'm always doing that.
Bartender: You should be more careful. You might hurt someone.
Breton Mage: Yeah. The Grey Beards keep telling me to watch my magic.
Bosmer Archer: Hello. Please may I have an ale?
Bartender: Please don't shoot me.
Bosmer Archer: D'oh. Keep forgetting. You're not supposed to carry a bow in a bar. [Sheaves bow]
Nord Warrior: Hello. Please may I have an ale?
Bartender: Sure. Wow! What a big sword you have.
Breton Mage: Hang on. You're frightened of magic.
Bosmer Archer: You're frightened of bows.
Nord Warrior: But this great sword is not at all threatening. This is Skyrim. Everyone has a great sword.
Bartender: [Laughs] So very true. Here's your ale.

Same, even enjoy all the time I spent modding it with Creation Kit and other tools. The varied scenery reminds me of where I grew up every time I play.
anyone know a good complete berserk skyrim mod?
Not quite understanding what is requested, but I recommend Ultimate Combat to better the combat experience of Skyrim, including unarmed. NPC's use abilities more frequently, and some locational damage can be included.
I believe he wants an anime styled Skyrim mod.

mod based on the manga berserk. There are mods I've found but they're all disjointed with some just being weapon mods, armored mods or stuff like that. I'm talking about more like a complete reskin.
Well, I've set aside modding Fallout NV for a while and have started another playthrough of Skyrim after quite some time away. Just have to say what a beautiful game...even after almost four years. This game just never ceases to amaze me. Between DLC and Mods, it literally is the gift that keeps on giving.
Anyway, anyone have any good mod suggestions?...and by that I mean mods released in the past year.
I have my own personal standard mods on. Just did a quick perusal of Nexus and have added on Skyforge Weapons; Skyforge Shields; and A Quality World Map to my load order. Skyforge Weapons and Armor are pure Nordic beauty...I mean they are gorgeous weapons...unfortunately you have to complete the Companions quest line before you can access them.
I've also just purchased Dawnguard and Dragonborn for my PC version. Never played Dragonborn, and I usually run to get my smithing up to 60 as quick as I can so I can craft my own Blades Armor (Mod); and whoa! I was rewarded with Nordic Carved Armor and Weapons showing up in my smithing menu. Although mid-tier, they these are perfect for my Nord role playing and play style. I think I'll mod this set to stat it up to ebony standards.
BTW, mods I'm normally interested in include Gameplay, Weapons, Armor, Companions, and Abodes; but will add on anything of interest. Any other quality mods released recently that any of you would recommend?

I'd recommend overhauling the combat to give the game a new flavor. I've been using Dragon Combat Overhaul + Deadly Dragons (they're designed to work together) to make dragons an actual threat (seriously, they're absolutely brutal with that mod combination) and have been looking into some general combat enhancements like Combat Evolved and Revenge of the Enemies.
You might also wanna take a look at T3nd0's most recent release, Perkus Maximus. It's a major overhaul of the perk system and has some pretty glowing reviews.
Skywind coming along nicely!
O hai thar

For **** sake I hope that the next Elder Scrolls game uses a new engine. When I play other open world games that look so much better than Skyrim running on the same hardware, it's hard for me to understand why Bethesda just can't seem to let go of Gamebryo. You shouldn't have to mod the **** out of a game to get it looking half way decent.

I play on console and Skyrim was my first played TES game so perhaps my opinion is a bit skewed but I didn't mind Skyrim's looks. I thought it was amazing when it came out. Sure now its a little dated, but the game did come out in November of 2011.
We're a little over 3 years on from back then. I wouldn't mind a new engine if Bethesda thought it necessary for the next game, but I have faith that whatever they do, it'll look fantastic.

I play them on console too. Oblivion was my first TES game and I too thought it looked incredible in 2006. But I still recognized that the character models, harsh bloom lighting, and mediocre textures, were embarrassing for a 360-gen title. Skyrim was a significant step up from Oblivion, but it still looked worse than other open world games. Far Cry 3 came out a year after Skyrim and looked almost a generation ahead.

Hmm, perhaps. I guess I just value all the other stuff as being good enough for me that a comparison to other titles wouldn't make me ask for more.

It's just that a big part of the appeal of games like TES is the immersion factor. If they would let go of Gamebryo and use a modern graphics engine, immersion would greatly benefit.

I get immersed well enough. A big part of the immersion in Skyrim for me was the first person perspective. I love that aspect of it and look forward to it in the later titles.

I cannot explain why, but 1st person doesn't feel right to me in Skyrim

I love the game for the modding community ![]()
Installed too many lore-unfriendly content, even though I appreciate the indepth lore and world, I mostly love the game for its freedom.
