Oh no this was back in high school, knew him from the bus and a couple of classes you see, never went to his house but a couple of times. And well I was I think last time I seen him he looked to be about idk 5'4" but he was like another friend of the same build. I mean they were fat, just not, Fat Albert Fat, it was more like look at a Dwarf with the square heads and such they both hand. Real stocky, and one of the few people I could never sweep kick because of it. And nah wasn't married. Well he was a student, but even if he weren't his dad was freaky as hell. Plus theres the small issue of him wanting to kill his brother, as he hid behing a couch with a mask, jumped out to scare the mother, she died. I don't know at times to laugh or feel sorry for him given that story.

Also yeah on hte buildings depends on how and who builds them. I've seen homes that are easy to take down, and Trailers that can take a beating, just depends. Ah well on topic, I wish they would show new stuff in the trailers and not the same ole crap.

Ok so that answers how you knew him. Well with what you say about his father its no wonder he was the way for which he was. Not sure if his mother was better off passing away when she did.

I couldn't agree with you more. After all there is still 2 months and 3 days til we will have the game and nothing new as of yet. But at least I've got Oblivion to keep me occupied til than. And from what I hear I'll be picking it up on the 10th @ midnight so all is good. Including the fact that it's fully paid for already.Image IPB

I opened Steam for the first time in a while (I don't game these days) and saw Skyrim in my game library... I went "wait, what day is this ? how old am I ?"... until I realised it was just my preorder. The torture !

Longest 2 months ever and the flow of new information has almost ground to a halt.

XD @ nijnij. @ Red, yeah I just beat space marine, didn't take but two days. So now I'm waiting for the 20th for FONV last DLC. Bored in a manner. Ah well no use rushing november. though I find this year isn't like last year. Lots of good games are out this year, won't crap round last year. Guess I could renew my hunting lic. do that some, but meh way things were here last year in that reguards, might as well just stay home.

Normally, especially two months before release, they would release TONS of gameplay and information yet the flow has stopped. I'm intrigued by Beth's approach to marketing...

some highlights from Dan Webb's PAX hands on preview: http://www.xbox360ac...-Falkreath.html

Argonian Abilities:
"Being an Argonian has many benefits, like every race in fact, and as such, we were blessed with the Histskin ability, which is the ability to resist disease by up to 50%; a spell that allows us to regenerate health a lot faster; and of course, the ability to breathe underwater."

Greywater Grotto and the Amulet of Arkay:
" Greywater Grotto, was a rather dank and oddly picturesque crystal cavern with a quaint waterfall running through it. I should have been able to tell by the skeletal remains of some poor bugger outside its entrance and a half-eaten deer carcass at the tip of one of the interior’s ledges that looks can be deceiving. As with anything in Skyrim though, you’re rewarded for venturing off the beaten path and after slaying more than a handful of wild wolves, we’re able to loot the corpse of an adventurer and open a chest and get our hands on the Amulet of Arkay – granting us a bonus 10 HP points when equipped."

"Cleared" tag for locations:
"Thankfully, because Skyrim is such a large location, Bethesda has rather neatly added “Cleared” tags to all locations you’ve visited in Skyrim that you’ve completely rinsed, something that also allows you to see whether you’ve got all that you really need from said location. "

Another Location: Bonechill Passage
" we climbed into the unknown, a place known as the Bonechill Passage "

Archery Perks:
"In our case, we were able to select the Overdraw perk – adding 20% damage to our archery attacks – as we were the correct level for that skill and it was first on the tree. However, Eagle Eye, which allows archers to zoom slightly before shooting an arrow, and the Critical Shot, which improves your chances of getting a critical shot, were both perks that required a level 30 in the archery skill… and of course, every perk that preceded it. "

Enchanted Armor that Boosts Illusion Skill:
" Iron Armour of Minor Illusion, which grants the wearer a 12% save on mana with illusion spells and stands out in the inventory screen with its blue glow. "

Animal Allegiance Shout:
"Etched into this ancient stone piece was one of the three Words of Power required to use the most powerful version of that specific shout and as we approached it the screen dimmed, the Elder Scrolls-esque chants started to roar through the headphones and the words start to sizzle as we got closer. Mere seconds later, we had been notified that we had learnt one word of the Animal, Animal Allegiance Dragon Shout which you can use to summon “beasts of the wild” to assist you in battles "

Joinable Imperial Legion Faction (enemies of the Stormcloaks)
"we reached Falkreath and it must be said, it was probably the most disappointing aspect of the hands-on, mainly because what we had come to was an ex-fort that acted more as a military town of sorts. Even after contributing to the locale’s economy by doing a spot of milling – basically just a series of button clicks at various places on the wood mill – the locals looked down on our reptilian warrior and treated him as an outsider.

=============================================================================
We were offered a quest to join the Imperial Legion here though, so it’s not all doom and gloom."
==============================================================================

More Locations:
"Along the way we ducked into Peak’s Slade Tower – an abandoned tower protected by a Spriggan, which is a little like a tree man with the power to shoot illuminous green flies at you – before heading into the Hall of Dead and the Shrine of Arkay, almost bringing our journey to a close at a snow temple called the South Shriekand Bastion...It’s a dungeon – or series of them – that is vastly different to the ones we’d previously encountered, with stone walkways, steep stone steps, an iconic glowing tree in the middle of one of its cylindrical chambers, huge steel doors and vampires blocking your progress. Here, anything went and that included fighting Skeevers and watching a dead vampire get resurrected by a nearby powerful mage. "

Size of the map:
"Incidentally though, it took us an hour and 20 minutes to get about a tenth of the way to Solitude and Markarth which sit at the far north of the map, so get ready to lose hours upon hours this November."

It's curious, but not unheard of.

Often times a company will heavily promote something then stop and let word of mouth gain some traction for a while.  Then they'll unleash a final blitz just before release time.

Will have to admit that from what Naughty posted Skyrim sounds huge with lots more exploring areas than that for which we had even in Oblivion. And to think that I was just thinking that Oblivion had allot of areas to explore.

Like the idea of the "cleared tags" that will sure help in letting us know that we've cleared the area sonething for which I wish there was in Oblivion. After all it's hard to keep track of where you've already been and where you need to go yet now.<LOL> As for me I know that I've still got allot of ground to cover in Oblivion and only a couple of months to do it in.

Well now will have to admit that the Archery perks sound nice. Especially comming from one that loves to use a bow.

Thanks for posting the information Naughty as usual its really appreciated.

Interesting:

Since I already had the bow equipped, I fired a few more shots into a wolf’s head until it slumped over, giving me a chance to not only grab its pelt, but quickly steal back the arrows.

Awesome.  I wonder if you'll always be able to do this.  Considering what they've been saying about  how rare and expensive  arrows  are in the game, I think this is a pretty darn good thing to hear.

I sure hope that we are able to get  back our arrows on allot of occassions especially since I love playing a marksman. At least in Oblivion.

Thanks for the link naughty. I'm gonna lose entire months once this game is out.

That area cleared tag is a nice addition too.

Given all the games I have coming in november all I can say is, I'll be on here at odd times to say the least, for a few months.

Well, Skyrim of course, HALO CE, and Saints Row the Thrid, though Rage comes out in October. And then in March you have Mass Effect three. Given Skyrim is stated to take 300 hours, I easily racked up over 100 in SR2, and Halo is not a short game, coupled with Rage, I think I'll be doing that more than being on this.

Not really (with to do list) I tend to do several things in any given day, plus my time with the family, etc. Like I was just doing some yard work not long ago this morning. So I'm not solidly here most of the time I'm logged in.

Just if its being here or playing the games in the time alotted, I'll pick my games. And I mix up what I do in anycase, why I'm more active on some days than others, I really can't stand doing the same thing in a row for too long. Like Minecraft, I played it steady for a few days, and haven't touched in for a few as well.

I feel your guys pain. I really do. But Batman Arkham City combined with ME3, Skyrim and The Witcher 2 when it hits 360 for me. Way too much at once, and since I'm a known game procrastinator, this could get ugly.
