That man looks like he has more important things to worry about than a thread staying on topic.  His weight for one.

It's his health not mine.

Heck I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I did so myself.

I'm 5 foot 7 (very little muscle) and weigh 13-14 stone.

Just to let you know, according to BMI it's obese.

I'll focus on getting my act together before I tell anyone to pull their weight (excuse the pun).

I don't like that body mass index thing. Everyone is different people trying to peg everyone to into perfect molds do not do us as a species any favors. While Jim Sterling is obviously hefty, the BMI gives a false sense of what is healthy and what isn't. I'm 5'10 5'11 and weigh 210 and I've struggled with that since my late 20s, but other than a small bulge in my mid section im lean everywhere else, if i recall BMI says i should be 180 lbs.  Even when i was sick a year ago i only dropped down to 190, and i was SICK and couldn't eat anything solid, that should give you a good idea of how bad the BMI system is, wasting away 20 lbs and it still says you overweight.

Since we're talking about BMI, I'd love to be able to have weight and hight sliders in game.

I'd love to play a Bearded Nord who is short and buff wielding a war hammer.

That isn't an example of why the BMI system is 'bad'.  You obviously have to lose more than 20 pounds before you can be considered anything other than overweight.  You're an inch or two taller than me, yet weighing in at a whopping 70 pounds heavier.

Abraham, I was talking about the guy from the Flintstones in the meme, it was a joke.  I would never say something that hurtful to a person.

Agreed. Skyrim needed an option for a short, fat Altmer & a tall, lanky Breton

Seems like we could have an interesting discussion on this issue. In which case I shall divert this discussion to a relevant thread as this has little to do with Skyrim.

5'9-5'10 and 130 lbs suggest to me that either a woman (supposedly ideal weight for them is 160+) or a very very young man in which case enjoy it while you can. At 30 years of age you will definitely notice a sharp increase in your muscle and fat mass. If you saw me you'd understand why 20 lbs is a sharp change in my appearance since im already slender.

Gopher offers a mod called 'Pumping Iron' that allows the Player to allow future development of the body mass as linked with experience, rest, and diet; might be of interest for some here.

160 for a female!  What on earth are you reading, man?  I'm 23.

As you can see, even I have a higher bf% than I'd like.

You took a picture of yourself and posted it on the Skyrim thread. Not even TheBunz did that. Nice.

Let's get back OT.

1. It's not underwear.

2. It's in response to someone insinuating that I weigh less than an average, healthy woman.

Weight and diet are serious issues.  More so than Skyrim.

Yeah, we don't really want to talk about your constitution issues.

There are mods for it, including the Argonian genitals.

Wow...just wow. Never thought I'd see a page like this in the Skyrim thread...I'm with you...on to more interesting things:

Without knowing the specifics of what you might prefer, I'd recommend a few basic mods (there are many others from ENBs to populating Skyrim to the limits of your PC, to an ocean of armor and weapons and body types, so be sure to peruse the Nexus for an eyeful :) ) --

Four of these are among the most endorsed files on Nexus and I would recommend them without hesitation.

SkyUI - A massively beautiful mod that will change your interface into something actually useable.

Ultimate Follower Overhaul (UFO): Hire on multiple followers; new companion dialogue system which gives you a multitude of custom settings (Making them essential or not).

Unofficial Skyrim Patch (USP): fixes a multitude of issues from vanilla Skyrim. This mod is still being updated. Provides unofficial patches for the DLCs as well. Highly recommend.

A Quality World Map - Visually better roads and map resolution.

A few of my personal favs:

Dovahkiin Hideout - A fantastic home system that's been around about as long as Skyrim itself.
Weapon Variant Expansion - Expands visual choice among vanilla weapons

Others can better recommend armor and texture mods since I'm fairly narrow minded in that respect.

Also, be sure to watch Gopher's modding series. He'll walk you through everything from how to download and how to order your load, to what to play!

Regards!

Yeah if you want more suggestions GameSpot has Top 5 of the Week, and I watch Smike's top tens a lot. And like Barbarrosa said Gopher is a good source too.

Seems like there's a lot out there, a friend recommended MXR to me but his videos seem a bit... sexualised I guess.

Recommended mods:

* LOOT: to maintain Load Order.

* For water: Realistic Water Two, or W.A.T.E.R.; prefer the former, but the latter one was used for a long time previously.

* Textures: aMidianBorne Book of Silence (really, anything appears to be improved using one of the aMid mods).

* Meshes: SMIM (ie; Static Mesh Improvement Mod), Better Shaped Weapons, Lush Trees and Grass, Detailed Terrain and Tree LOD, Immersive Icicles, IPM: Insane Archery, No Snow Under The Roof, XCE.

* Light and Weather: ELFX for lighting content, Climates of Tamriel for weather (the latter being my fave mod overall).

* Convenience: Cutting Room Floor, A Matter of Time, Amazing Follower Tweaks, Follower Commentary Overhaul, Guard Dialogue Overhaul, MoreHUD, No NPC Greeting, Reweighed Potions, The Choice Is Yours, Timing Is Everything, Alternative Crafting.

* Immersion: Cloaks of Skyrim, Wet & Cold, Frostfall, Dragon Stalking Fix, Realistic Boat Bobbing.

* Combat: Balanced Magic, Better Vampires, Deadly Dragons, High Level Enemies, Ultimate Combat.

Some may overlap; some may be in the wrong place, but I have used them with many hrs of enjoyment.
