i cant stand SkyUI, its clunky, cluttered and a general eyesore, the vanilla UI is a lot better

I typically prefer the menus with as much information as possible as opposed to constantly flickering through different panels. But I dunno. Different strokes.

Besides, I think there is a way to tweak the SkyUI menu.

And, of course, the mod configuration.

You don't have it installed? Poor thing.

Noted. I remember using NMM for New Vegas but it now looks like it can be useful for sorting out my non-workshop Skyrim mods (Interesting NPCs,More Creatures).

On a side note, does anyone have the Warzones - Civil Unrest mod? How is it?

I had Warzones on way back when. It's huge and there's a ton of combat. However, if you don't have a strong rig, it will absolutely make your FR plunge. There are a lot of NPCs included in the spawns and the battles are big. It does have a custom control mechanism to customize the number of NPCs within any given encounter.

I have since taken Warzones off, and opted for the More NPCs Mod. I still have Warzones on New Vegas, and still play it there.

Bottom line: it's good if your machine can take it...AND you like huge battles and A LOT of combat encounters.

Mmmh, target rich environment. But also loot overload I suppose.

Thanks, dodged the bullet there. Then again, I should have figured just by reading the mod description.

WZ also caused stutters for Gopher in the LPSA series. And More NPC's includes so many annoying battles (my game and Gopher's) that avoiding them becomes the norm; thus negating purpose for installing the mod. And in my own game, it added to the ruination of the opening sequence, as the prisoner transport wagon would roll over the spawning crowds causing camera waves.

For mybudgee

Is an alchemy ingredient.

There are two ways to find out the four unknown affects.

Mix it with other ingredients or consume it.

Mmmm that Dwarven oil tastes delicious. :P

My guess is: everyone was talking about it too much in this thread. The mods must've deemed it redundant

I'm not sure if it's been brought up yet but I'm giving Wheels of Lull a spin on my current playthrough and definitely enjoying it quite a bit so far! There's some technical issues at least in the beginning dungeon (admittedly I had to TCL around one part cause I couldn't see the path I needed to go even with brightness turned all the way up, and misjudging counted in death @_@ Got tired of reloading sooo, console commands :P) but it's quirky and rather neat so far.

Is your character already a vampire and if so,  how much does he enjoy it? Does he seek power with little regard for the means? Does he take issue with entities trying to eat the locals? If he's a mercenary, does he stick with whoever employed him first or switch sides when offered a better deal? Does either side offend his principles? Ask yourself enough questions about the character and which side they should pick is obvious.

the thing is both sides offend his principles, and he hates both leaders equally...

i could metagame and join the vampires just so i can kill both Harkon and Isran...

Doesn't even require meta. "I could join the Volkihar, work my way up the ranks, and take over eventually while wiping out the Dawnguard in the process. Doing so will establish a power base while eliminating several threats." While unaware of just how quickly this plan will be put into practice, that could be his goal the entire time. If he hates vampires in general, he could work with the Dawnguard despite hating Isran.

he likes vampires, at least the non maniacal ones (Sybille Stentor for example), which is why he doesnt like the Dawnguard and their "kill them all"

mentality, on the other hand Harkon is a psychopath...

ah well, guess im going vampire

For RP purposes, based on what was written here, thee is little known at this time about either side. Thus, choose the approach that best suits that character. Over time, one may see Isran mellow due to the interactions with Serana, or witness Harkon go further down the rabbit hole, but time is required in character to view this.

I often stay mortal for as long as possible, and then when forced to make a decision, choose the apparent lesser evil.

As far as story and side quests, I prefer the Dawnguard material.

I have searched for a Elder Scrolls Pen and Paper game.
Couldn't find any besides one for Skyrim set shortly after Elder Scrolls V.

Perhaps I can make one.
When I become more familiar with Pen and Paper games and how they work I'll get round to it.
As for lore, just copy and paste the lore. The good thing is that half of my work is done. It's been done by Bethesda's lore writers.

If a good one already exists you can save me even more work. Do you know of any?

I don't know if it's any good but there was a fan made Morrowind PnP rpg going around a few years back.

Elder Scrolls just doesn't seem to fit as a PnP IMO.
