I've yet to see definitive proof that Todd Howard is actually human.
now thinking about it, how can you prove somebodys human without killing them?

So Your answer to why Bethesda refuses to show any 3rd person Skyrim combat footage is: Because Todd Howard personally likes to play the game in First person.
LOL
Somehow, I seriously doubt this is the reason. Marketing and advertising are, by nature, not quite that personal. They can't be. Because they'd fail if they were.
For example, A supermaket will still showcase their meat department and its specials, even if the manager is a life-long vegetarian. A department store will still show and advertise their women's apparel line, even if the CEO of the company happens to be, you know... Male.

Hmm...Horseshoes might not pique my interest, I would do it without a doubt but... I would kill to be able to make some awesome non-weapon items. While I'm thinking about it, have they said anything about making your own arrows?

Shameless thread advertisement!
I got to thinking that since smithing is a skill, we should be able to make a few non-weapons/armor things like horseshoes. It would be a great way to make money and level smithing, in addition to some other benefits I listed in the link. What do you guys think?

Dovi? Lol. I can't wait to do a little hunting every once in a while and make myself a home cooked meal.Tommyspa wrote...
Well then, if that works out then I will finally be able to make use of animal bits, I don't want useless loot on animals like pelts were, except for starting a couple quests. At least we can cook food and feed Dovi. *imagines Dovi walking in the house and throwing boar meat on the table and grunting at his wife to make steak.*

No mention yet, but all the things needed for them are confirmed. We got wood for the arrow shaft, chickens and hawks for the feathers, and iron for the tip.

I wouldn't worry about something like that. In a game like Skyrim where multiple things will be on the player's to do list there has to be some kind of journal.J0HNL3I wrote...

Falmer (snow elves) confirmed (as enemies- they aren't playable). Not sure about them being "evil and twisted" though. I was hoping that they'd be more sophisticated than this.

I wouldn't worry about it, Bethesda know what they are doing and trying to play a huge open world game without a journal is kind of a nightmare. I assume its just hidden within one of the menu's.Redneck1st wrote...

I fully agree I didn't see one either but thats not to say that there isn't one. After all if Skyrim is bigger than that for which Oblivion is than there would have to be a way to keep things straight so you know what you're doing.<G>

That is not a pic of Falmer.
Here are the only pics we have of Falmer:
I would advise you to take anything you read on "theskyrimblog.com" with a massive grain of salt.
They are not a legitimate news source, rather they tend to copy posts made by fans on the Bethesda forum word for word without verifying or listing any sources for the info.
As you can see in the case of Falmer, they even embellished this with irrelevant pics that have nothing to do with Skyrim.
Falmer were revealed here during one of Pete Hines public demos (at Gamescom I believe):
