Expectation mostly. As time passes you expect games that are newer to be of better quality than the ones that came before.

Since when? The game I rate as the best of all time is X-Com, released something like16 years ago.

I'm not saying that I believe in that personally, I probably gave off that impression though. I was really just elaborating on Redneck 1st's opinion of Oblivion vs. DA2. I actually still consider Perfect Dark to be one of the best First-Person Shooters of all time and that game is 11 years old. I also still hold Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2 & 3 in high regard as far as platformers go and those games are 20-16 years old.

Going back to Skyrim, those latest images are great! Like the fact they doing Fallout style Locks.


Although I think I may disappear from this thread now. Its getting to that point where things I want to discover myself are being leaked and its only going to get worse.

I'm having a thought, is weight simply there for the sake of it, or will it affect stats and/or gameplay.
(e.g. lower weight = better stealth/light armour, higher weight = better block/heavy armour)

Doubt it, seems to be there to make you more bulky or smaller.

Either way more choice is better choice, I suppose having stat increases would force people to choose a certain weight based on play style which would be the wrong way to go.

There is a slider for body girth that is runs from skinny to bulky and muscular, but I'm not quite sure whether the extreme bulky end of the slider for female characters makes them look like female body builders or not, as I don't think we've seen any screens featuring such a character yet.

They look a lot better than they did in Oblivion, but I'm not really a fan of the animal races either.

I hope I only miss out on 1 of the 5 events that are happening on those days. Definitely want to get Skyrim and Saints Row day one. I know I'm too late for Gears but theres a NBA 2K12 demo coming out that day. Hoping it's not Gold Exclusive.
