Well I caved in and ordered the CE. It looks like it's going to be worth it though.

I hope female characters' hands aren't hideous and meaty. Just sayin'. ._.

I guess that would depend on which class of female character that your running. Say an orc as opposed to a Dunmer for example. I'd think that a female orc's hands would be more meatier than say a female Dunmer's.

Still, I sure hope there is a slider for "Meatyness" of a character, regardless of race.

I was going to order the CE but just couldn't see paying almost double for what little extra you got.

I bet the art book is real nice, and if the statue is more than decent, maybe, it also comes in a nice big box. But I went with the standard edition, and I still get the pretty map. Which I found to be the coolest thing about the preorders. So I'm a happy fella.

What kind of a map we talking here?
A map showing you everything (caves, dungeons ect.), or a map that shows you the main areas in Skyrim?

The first part (if said in the right voice) sounds a bit mafia, so I'm going to put this. :bandit:

Well, that's my photo album of my things and not something from a magazine or anything. :innocent:

If you want more photos, I will require some Coffee Haagen-Dazs.

 Info from XBX Magazine:
  • Guards apparently will nick you for crimes that other people committed if they think you are the culprit. They tried to arrest the XBX demo'er for stealing a horse from some bandits. This is a really, really cool advancement in NPC AI.
  • Each time you level, you get to put ten points into Health, Magic, or Stamina.
  • New enemy: Spriggan, which are basically nymps. They regenerate health and like to play dead.
  • You can shoot through gaps in bridges.

It's a cloth map of the main areas of skyrim. I doubt it has all the caves, that would be kinda ugly and cluttered, imo.

Cloth maps are lame, in my opinion, but I understand why people like them.

Looks like the women are much improved. I like the bow as well.

Eh, woman.

I have to say, the bow remind me of a weapon affected by Elemental Weapon in Dragon Age II. The Ice-type effect.

Yeah I was thinking that bow loooked a little icy. As for the woman, I'm just glad character models in general are improved. The Creation Engine is such a great improvement.

This is good news! Especially the part about spriggans. The less summoned black bears in the world the better! :wizard:

Elamor- What you didn't like all the bears? After all their a great way to fill common soul gems.<G>

Speaking of soul gems are they implemented in Skyrim in order to re-charge your enchanted weapons or have they changed this here aspect of the game?

Godwood- Glad you brought it up about the "spriggan's" in Oblivan because if you didn't I would have. After all I've fought enough of them.

Get Magna Carta- They had to be killed 3 times sounds like that could have been a real pain in the arse. Almost like some of the skeletons for which I run into and you bust them up all over the place and the pull themselves back together get up and come at you again.<LOL>

I can understand that there. The way I look at it they initiate combat I'm going to take them down. I don't care who they are. Besides I'm not much of a spell user. Sword or bow for me.Of course there have been situations where spells have come in handy even I'll admit that there. Got a Finger of the Mountain spell thats useless to me because I need a Destruction of 100 and I think I'm just @ 75. Besides if you've got the sword of umbra and some empty common soul gems they make a great way to fill them.

Haha! I try to roleplay a character that uses mostly magic and a bit of stealth. That's why he's not so tough. He can't take that much beating before he dies. He's not that fast or athletic either, poor guy. He's good with restoration magic and alchemy though. I guess that's only because he need to use it so much

I will probably play a tougher character in Skyrim. I have a hard time choosing races since all of them look so cool but the main concept is a warrior woman that mainly use two-handed weapons.

Hmm those three seemed the most neat to me. The bridges should be a no brainer but alot of games surprisingly fail at this.

The leveling seems to allow for stacking up on your specialization, without actully harming it, as say if in the previous games you were playing as a mage and leveled up health.

The First one however, that I find neat and I wonder if it fits into your rep. Say your a dick, it would be no surprise that the guards went for you. Or if you were a saint and no one seen you that your crimes could be pinned on others. It also makes me wonder if the guards will differ from region, and in the "Rule of Law" say I kill a bandit in the street, will It be just "not seen" or will I get charged with Murder?

Mainly run a stealth marksman and since I've got my marksman up to 100 and I'm currently looking to hit all the wayshire shrines so that I can do the Knights of the Nine I've been relying on my long sword Umbra and shield. I do use restoration spells quite a bit as I'm trying to build that and my destruction up.
