The ESRB is probably full of half of these parents who blame video games for their kids problems.

And should that there surprise you at all? They out to check out what the kids are watching on t.v. and @ the movies thses days. Like "Night of the Living Dead" and  all them Chuckie moves to name some.

No, it doesn't surprise me. Those types of people will try to blame anything other than their lousy lack of parenting as the key to their kids problems.

Wow. You guys really missed the joke... :
Not really my fault though.

Of course it was a joke. It was still ignorant though.

That's stupid. All jokes are ignorant. The question is...is pointing out the obvious, ignorant?

Personally I think the realms of Oblivion were more than enough to warrant an M rating. Those places were macabre with the burning corpses, mutilated bodies, heads impaled on stakes, and all sorts of gadgetry to smash humans in general. But what was the thing the game to an M rating was of course some blocky boobs. Le sigh.

Not necessarily and sometimes.

Whats the problem with the ESRB? All they do is put an age classification on the game. If there was no classification then the people looking to get violent games banned would have more of a case.

I'm glad it got an M though. A game like Skyrim needs to be bloody and visceral.

Appropriate.

Orcish armor in Morrowind was definitely samurai.

Seriously!? Man I definitely gotta play that now. I always wanted to try it when it first came out but it'd probably be hard to find for the Xbox without going online.

Elamor- Now where did you come across the 7000 steps in Skyrim from? I think that I would like to climb them as well but I think that might take a while to accomplish.

I probably should've been more clear about that I was still referring to the throat of the world

It's all right. Morrowind was a great world, just not a great game.

Here's Morrowind's Orcish armor.

Actually, the Seven Thousand Steps of High Hrothgar came from the First Pocket Guide to the Empire, which came with the game Redguard. The Skyrim entry in the Pocket Guide is the basis for Skyrim's landscape.

This really shocked me:

Decapitation is in the game, according to Pete Hines: "a one-handed perk you can pick that there's a small chance you can decap."

:devil:sounds like it will be fun

Is there gonna be dismemberment in the game also ?  Or just decapitation with this perk ?

Previously, Pete Hines said "no dismemberment"; however, he said this decapitation perk was a surprise to him and technicallly decapitation is a sort of dismemberment, so perhaps it bodes well for other similar effects for limbs.

seems kind of odd to go through the trouble to incorporate decaptiation without being able to chop off arms, etc.

I'd be running around doing this if we had dismemberment. :D

I guess so since decapitation is the removal of ones head from their body. Image IPB About time someone thought of putting things like this into the game.

Ah yes, "Bretons". Mutts that are tainted by human blood. We have dismissed that claim.
